feel that murder? [m]

rated m as usual. themes, violence...

she was like one of the warriors they told me about
a demon, a goddess, an exiled monster
everyone that knew her warned me away
but I never listened

they said she worked for beasts
silent scumbags that went unseen
they were chaotic, and their ruler
had gone mad with power

she said she was forced into it a long time ago
and I couldn't leave her after that
she was always fierce and she was always so cold
but I loved her anyway

one day or another she turned to me
after weeks of being on edge for no reason
she said 'I don't know how to feel' and turned,
vanishing into the night

I waited for hours and I set out to follow
she certainly didn't want to be found
so I returned home and waited for morning
in the hopes that I'd see her again

when I saw her again she was heavily scarred
her clothes were all torn and her lips had been marred
she tried for a smile and said once again
'I don't know how to feel'

she told me her name wasn't really her name
snd hideous things that she'd done in the past
who she had murdered and who she had maimed
she told me I wouldn't be the last

her hand, it was quick, and her dagger was sharp
a rarity, gold and ornate
my blood spat forth and stop did my heart
too late to confess, much too late

I still hear her voice now, soft in my head
saying she loved me as my life slipped away
she thought I would hate her; I didn't, I couldn't
I'll wait for her in Hell, and love her the same

Forgettable

This short story yelled at me to wake up at 3 in the morning so I apologize if there are mistakes. XD

Story below cut~

hey, mum...? I don't know if you knew, but... [ Rut ]

It's been a long time since he's been to this place. Every time he comes back, he's reminded of why he left in the first place all those years ago. It wasn't running away - not so cliché as that - but rather, leaving unexpectedly. His mother and stepfather were furious at the time, but they never understood why he left. They didn't understand that it was their fault, that they'd driven him out. He was eighteen at the time, just out of school, going into university to study English, become a teacher. He could have done it, too, if he'd only stayed at home. But he didn't. And that only made him more bitter as the weeks went by without the comfort of home.

I wonder who remembers...

I've been feeling nostalgic for the past few days and looking through old posts on TEFc, and after a conversation with AA, we started to wonder if people would still remember aspects of the 'old' TEF, the way it was before roughly halfway through 2009, before things started to change. So we pretty much decided to make a blog with 'An old TEFer would remember these...' and then a list. It'd be awesome if people could help out with that, maybe share some of your old times.

Siekh in Black and White [Image inside]

I decided a couple weeks ago I would draw Siekh in black and white with a mechanical pencil. I half-failed. He is supposed to be green, blue, brown, and blackish-gray, but my sad attempt at using different shades for different colors failed. So, this is my fail drawing of my deer, Siekh.

Siekh is fun-loving, active, and errs on the side of craziness. He loves conga lines and dance parties. He also has fun spell-spamming with fawns and having forest magic parties. Caution: sometimes he randomly dances around other deer, even if they aren't dancing. Some days he feels like a loner, but he hasn't made enough friends in the forest, yet. He wonders if he scares fawns sometimes with his eyes or robotic-sounding voice.

Siekh would be about the size of an elk, only with a (very) fluffy tail. His face and neck are blue, chest and belly are green, hind thighs blackish-gray, has a golden-brown streak across his side from the end of the blue to his fluffy bum, and his back is dark brown and scaly-looking because of his fur pattern. His tail is colored to resemble his feather crest which is only one layer of feathers; approximately four on each side. His lower legs are orange-brown. He wears a beluga mask with two little blue-tipped spikes to substitute for his lack of, erm, antlers.
