Mikael's still a fawn and profile-less, (I still haven't quite returned to the site, so I haven't worked on profiles in some time), but he's rather no-nonsense and serious, detached but observant. If none of these strike your fancy, you're also more than welcome to choose someone else.

I know she uses Photoshop and SAI, RedRaptor. Neither are free. I believe GIMP is. If you can't download it, maybe you can talk to a parent who can.

As for which programs I use, it looks like that question has already been answered for me, rofl. I use PaintTool SAI and Adobe Photoshop 7. I also occasionally use Manga Studio EX 4 and openCanvas, for sketches. SAI offers a free 31 day trial period. Perhaps you can download it and see if you like it? I think that openCanvas is still free... I'll see if I can find a link for you.

Also, yes, I do use a tablet, a Wacom Bamboo Fun. There are other cheaper options out there, though.
