I'm officially taking an indefinite hiatus from TEF. I don't feel like getting into the specifics here, but there's too much triggering content on tefc for me, and no, I'm not using "triggering" flippantly as a mental health professional diagnosed me with C-PTSD. I have a therapist and psychiatrist who I meet with regularly and I am on medication, so don't worry about me. I'm actively working on healing, but an incredibly scary event in February has set my progress back.
Right now it's difficult for me to feel comfortable logging onto Discord at the moment--in fact, I uninstalled it for the time being--but if you want to discuss character stuff or want to know more about what's going on with me, feel free to hit me up using whatever resources you have at your disposal (ie the contact info below). Don't be insulted though if it takes me a bit to get back to you.

Fish.. Feesh, telling us about your life isn't a 'dump'. You're not dumping anything on us by sharing. It's good to share things, especially things that hit people as hard as a familial death. Like... there's not a lot worse than having to just...watch and..experience it. Be kind to yourself, Fush, ok? Promise? Share things that are too much to handle. Please?

You guys are all so sweet <3 I've been dealing with it offline I guess. Playing lots of Breath of the Wild and making really tasty food to take my mind off of it since I can't do anything until I'm allowed to visit him :SHRUG:
Fish, I am so sorry for your loss. If you need anything we're all here for you. I kinda understand what you're going trough, my uncle had a heart attack an died young, it was really hard. If you need anything at all feel free to ask, we love you and you're not alone, I promise
It's amazing how few cuts I have, but goodness me, lifting 8 reams of paper at a time along with full mail boxes will definitely scrape up your arms! They're not too noticeable but I definitely feel them lol. Maybe Aveeno will help!

Incredibly late to this but oooooh man, I remember playing so much of the Incredible Machine back in the day, what a blast from the past.
Time flies by so fast, I still can't believe it's been that long since I joined and so many of the old players still check up on the forest every once in a while.
I remember spending hours during computer time in primary school playing it instead of learning how to use the QWERTY keyboard lol

In a tragic time, the community really has come together and many of us share in the grief of Fly's passing. He was a friend to all and never had a cross word for anyone. He was a gem, a real paragon of the community. I have faith that his welcoming, fun-loving, and generous attitude lives on in the people here that he has impacted. I, for one, have always looked up to him as a model for kindness and brotherhood. Even moreso now I feel driven to follow his example. You aren't alone in wishing for that special spot to be filled. You know I have known you for a long time and I have never told you, that you were the reason I felt welcomed here. In fact I think the first ever thing I was brave enough to comment on was you asking "who is this " and it was me. You always commented on my art and encouraged me and you have many others. Just thought I would let you know. You had an impact on me. It's been a pleasure to be able to call you a friend.

I really hope so. I didn't get a chance to convey to him exactly how much I appreciated everything that he did so that gives me even more drive to try and be better at being a welcoming, friendly person.
