I'm officially taking an indefinite hiatus from TEF. I don't feel like getting into the specifics here, but there's too much triggering content on tefc for me, and no, I'm not using "triggering" flippantly as a mental health professional diagnosed me with C-PTSD. I have a therapist and psychiatrist who I meet with regularly and I am on medication, so don't worry about me. I'm actively working on healing, but an incredibly scary event in February has set my progress back.
Right now it's difficult for me to feel comfortable logging onto Discord at the moment--in fact, I uninstalled it for the time being--but if you want to discuss character stuff or want to know more about what's going on with me, feel free to hit me up using whatever resources you have at your disposal (ie the contact info below). Don't be insulted though if it takes me a bit to get back to you.

Ah, yes! Good advice. My mom has told me tales about her many adventures practicing driving in parking lots during holidays. The area I moved to has notoriously by-the-book cops who will pull you over for anything wrong they can find or any slightly suspicious behavior you might be exhibiting, like being a white, middle aged guy waiting on the side of the road in your car for your wife to get in, so I'm a little scared of that. It's not a bad town or anything, I think they just want to keep it as safe as possible because there are lots of kids and animals.
I really hope they will!! Our planter boxes are shaded by a neighbor's tree for most of the day and I put the plants there since the rest of the backyard will eventually be covered in dirt when we raise the soil level to avoid flooding (the joys of living by a wetland). Have you planted raspberries or blueberries before?

Also I'm so sorry that happened to you, I am glad you were able to work through it, but I know those thing are horrible. I have them too and it's like being hit by a train once they are over. I have them when I am driving, due to a bad car wreck.These are complex situations.Sometimes something brings them on, sometimes they are out of nowhere. It's really scary and draining. I'm sorry you go through it. You know I am here for you if you ever need me

Thanks!! I feel that I've finally found out what kind of animal is closest to who I am as a person.
The one great thing about this one was that it was really the first time that I was so in control of my mind, like I was able to think about other things, like what I wanted to have for dinner that night, but it took a while to be able to calm my body down and get rid of those symptoms.
I can't imagine having a bad panic attack while driving! That's actually one of my biggest fears. I hope you have things that you can do and use to alleviate the symptoms when it happens :c If you'd like, I'd be happy to share some of the techniques and things that I use.
I do but it's not really effective. I mostly just tell myself I can sit wherever I am parked forever,or get where I am going and it turns into a new bad situation.

Not all of them are active, no. I like to play a different character when I'm in different moods. For example, I prefer to play Emmy when I'm in a bad mood.

It's sucky but my temp agency found me a job the last day of my previous job! They've been finding me really nice nonprofits to work at which I enjoy, but learning a new job every few months is the pits.

Right? Apparently there's enough reliable free time on the job that some people are actually in school and when they're done with a work project they'll pop open their textbooks and do homework.

Are you looking forward to the free time? Or are you more interested in staying busy? I know I love down-time, but on the job it's just like ??? to me, unless I have something else I have to be doing, like homework and stuff.
ikr.. my boss reminded them that I can't change my signature and as long as it matches what they have on file, nothing else can be done and they relented and accepted it despite their pettiness.
The only explanation I have is that they probably don't let contractors have wifi connection because I've seen federal employees with work laptops roaming around. But I like to imagine their faces if I was able to use the wifi and they saw all the dumb stuff I Google on a daily basis |^)
