I'm officially taking an indefinite hiatus from TEF. I don't feel like getting into the specifics here, but there's too much triggering content on tefc for me, and no, I'm not using "triggering" flippantly as a mental health professional diagnosed me with C-PTSD. I have a therapist and psychiatrist who I meet with regularly and I am on medication, so don't worry about me. I'm actively working on healing, but an incredibly scary event in February has set my progress back.
Right now it's difficult for me to feel comfortable logging onto Discord at the moment--in fact, I uninstalled it for the time being--but if you want to discuss character stuff or want to know more about what's going on with me, feel free to hit me up using whatever resources you have at your disposal (ie the contact info below). Don't be insulted though if it takes me a bit to get back to you.

Alright, so for some reason, your comment opened the random access "lol TEH randum XD" side of my brain and I wanted to reply just with a song, but it's this specific song. It's a classical song with female vocals and strings. I know it from this travel commercial from the mid/early 90's that I have on a VHS tape at my parents' place (I think it played before a Doctor Seuss cartoon that I wanted to record) and I have no idea what it's called. It was used in a meme video but I can't remember what meme.

Imagine them carrying your favorite treats in a basket and also imagine that they're wearing scarves and little jackets, even though they are accustomed to very cold regions and there would be no reason for them to do so other than to increase their cuteness.

It is tiring for sure, and the only places that the temp company can find that want to hire me seem to be places that need somebody to do filing work for them. That wouldn't be so bad, but filing work is surprisingly exhausting since you have to be moving and on your feet all day, looking at small print and deciphering names or really long numbers.

Thanks! My first day went well, all I'm doing is filing and scanning current and past employees' PII which is boring and tiring, but I can listen to music and podcasts while working which is a godsend. I started listening to Parcast's Unsolved Murders to keep myself from going crazy at work but I've blown through ~8 hours worth of their stuff. Do you have any podcast recommendations?

Obviously can't recommend Critical Role enough. But you get so much out of seeing the people as they talk, acting some things out, the expressions, and even some shenanigans. ='D But if you're just wanting the story to imagine, then yes, listening to them is good.

Have you listened to Adventure Zone? Some brothers who sound like they're in their thirties and their dad play DnD and none of them have a lot of experience playing and they're all adorable.
Indeed. They stream live on Geek & Sundry's Twitch channel every Thursday and upload the recording to YouTube on Monday (though it's unlisted and can only be found via their website). They reached episode 85 this week (and still going!), so you have a lot of content to consume. ='D
And no, I haven't heard of that one. 8o If it's a podcast, I actually don't know much about getting those. >>; I spend most of my time on YouTube (and some on Twitch).

Yea, and they're all at least 3 hours long, occasionally going over 4 if there's something intense or epic they want to finish doing. Best part is, they're all voice actors, so they're legit at what they're doing. Though I'm not so sure about it keeping you "sane". ;D

Thanks! I got locked out of the office for about 10 minutes today (long story lol) which sucked, but that's Mondays for you. Turns out that the alarmed emergency exit isn't alarmed after all, but is actually a very sneaky way into our office. The more you know, I guess??

If you ever get uncomfortable driving, I totally suggest practicing at some absurd hour at night! That is, if you're able to be up and about that late/early, of course. Really helps with getting rid of extraneous non-sense when no one else is on the roads! Just my two cents.
And a vague-maybe-wrong tip: I beeeelieve that raspberries will grow where ever the heck they want, so when they start growin', they might start trying to take over.
