If you use dA to host an image, you have to right click on the picture and select 'properties' to get the URL for the image itself. It should end in ".jpg" or ".gif", etc:

I'm not sure who that pictogram belongs to. Normally I'd suggest putting it together on the 1st gen pictogram builder, but I can't seem to duplicate it. It looks like it has too many pieces. It may be a glitch in the game (I know there's at least one glitched pictogram that gets put on nameless deer), or it may be someone with a weird/glitched pictogram.

If you go to the map, you can usually find the pictogram of the deer you've been playing with. If you click on a pictogram on the map, it will take you to their user page, if they have one.

Yep, that is a nameless deer.

You might not be playing with the same deer every time since all nameless guests to the game have either the pictogram that you log in to the game with, (but you are the only one that can see that picto, I would see my picto on them) the picto that you see up there, or Michael's pictogram.

It's normal when the server is messed up, yes. The best way to check for that is when you cast a spell on the deer and it doesn't stick.
