If you're talking about putting spells on your deer, you are going to have to wait until you are an adult deer for that, which is 30 real life days from the day you activated your account. The best way to make friends here is to just interact with deer in the forest. If you want to figure out who they are, just look at their picotgram and then look at the map, located in the sidebar here. The pictograms on the map are clickable, and will lead you to the user's page if they are a member of the community.
