I really love to paint with acrylics, but paint tool sai is a very very close second.

I have a hard time just

I have a hard time just picking one... but i love using pastels both oil and chalk.

but you really cant beat a quality HB pencil.

Currently for drawing and coloring I only use Photoshop CC and my tablet, but when I'm sketching craft designs in my sketchbook I use 2B Woodless Graphite pencils. If I'm making a rendering that includes measurements (like in an orthographic projection) I'll use mechanical pencil, for crisp lines. What I use really depends on what I'm doing, certain media lend themselves to certain activities. I could never just use one exclusively.
