So last night I was on iScribble with a few friends. In real life I was shuffling a newly built Magic: The Gathering deck when one of the cards escaped the pile and fell on the ground face down.
I picked the card up and looked at it for a moment:
So I mentioned it on iScribble and Pega asked if I was denying anything. Then after seeing the card, she pointed out the flavor text and suggested that it might mean I need time to think.
I'm not superstitious, I just thought this was interesting that of all the cards in my deck, this one was the one to come out. So what is there that I need to think about? My life? My future? Do I need to reflect on my past?
One thing this little event has shown me is that we as human beings seem to be rushed in our lives. We really don't ever get time to stop and meditate, because we're always on the go. I'm sure other cultures are not like this, but mine is at least.
Maybe that's what this card is trying to tell me - to slow down, take some time out of my day to rest, and have some time to think.
Anyway, pointless blog but I wanted to mention this little event.
Edit - Tonight I shuffled my cards again. One card fell out face up but it was a swamp (there's like 7 of them in this deck).
But here's the wierd thing. When I sat the deck down, then picked it up again, the bottom card was Wall of Denial! What the heck, of all the cards that could be on the bottom, it was the one that fell out last night?!
Another wierd thing tonight - I dropped cards twice from my hand. The first time, five cards fell out, in this order:
Soul Manipulation, Mind Funeral, Thoughtcutter Agent, Esper Charm, and an Island
Later on, three cards fell out...and it happened to be three of the same cards, in the same order:
Soul Manipulation, Mind Funeral, and Thoughtcutter Agent
Oooookay, this seems really odd...and those three cards together don't sound very good for my head.
-remembers that now- funnily
funnily enough...my art teacher said something similar to this to me
"we often rush through our busy lives and never stop and take the time to think, to think about who we are..."
-I ended up doing my art assignment on this XD-

That is an odd experience!
On another note, I love Magic: The Gathering and my friends and I had fun one day trying to figure out what card we were all most like . I ended up as this one;
It was a fun little exercise in seeing the difference between what I thought about myself and what my friends saw in me. (They all agreed that I was usually the first one to stand up and put my foot down to stop people fighting, but at the same time didn't always look after myself in the process ) Funny because I expected to be a green card, seeing as they are my favorites. Either way, it was a fun little game to waste some time
Wow...
@Tera: Kami is actually God

You may not like the news but you got to like the one who delivers them, Paperboy!
wow, I always assumed it
Terabetha - I've done that
The face even looks a lot like mine. The color is surprising, because I normally associate myself with green or red, not their rival color, blue.
Cool! I always did like the
I do too - I love to use the
Maybe later I'll look through my Shards block decks and see if there's anyone who stands out as a favorite. I'd want to be from either Naya or Jund, but of course I just built the Esper deck so I could be someone from there too. My brother plays Bant and Grixis so that's why I wouldn't choose someone from those shards (I got him hooked on this game, too).
I fell of the buying cards
Yeah the ninjas were cool.
I've always been a fan of the Slivers - they get ridiculously powerful within a few turns. My other decks include a Kithkin deck from Lorwyn, a Noggle Red and Blue deck from Eventide, a black deck with a bunch of kill spells, and then my recent three Shards decks.
I also fallen off the bandwagon before. I came in around Onslaught/Legions, played a little Mirrodin before taking a break, played a little Champions of Kamigawa, then completely missed the Ravnica and Time Spiral blocks. I came back in with Lorwyn and have been on top of the game since then.
Kick back and watch some
Of course, you should watch the 6 years before last year. xD
I don't have these cards, but it seems alot of people do. I don't really know what they are o:
TEF cards would be cool....With like a set and the theme behind it, sorda a mood or future. /fail
