Rut Moose doing rut moose things. Before it goes over anyone’s head actual mating will not be displayed despite what is mentioned in the last bullet. Let’s keep game interactions nice and clean ya?
Please keep in mind that he’s feral and his focus is passing on his legacy. That said, I want him to have children here, he needs some other than the ones he procreated in Alaska’s wilderness haha. If your character is interested in having Wardell as the sire comment below! He can breed with any character that is capable of becoming pregnant. No RP or contact needed just notify me here and we’re all good. I have no restriction when it comes to his offspring besides of course applying some resemblance in appearance to signify that they are indeed his. Other than that make them however you want, they in no way shape or form have to be feral. Wardell will most likely be a distant father and not around much, but since he has a trait of being unnaturally interested in babies, he will be more caring in their presence. At least as much as a feral moose can. The effect will probably last if the bond doesn't break. <3
For players who have a predator-looking character, he will mostly ignore or avoid them, unless they are directly interacting with him as any participant would. To him it’s a life or death situation and the only thing on his mind is surviving and not falling prey. This warrants a flight or fight response, if he for whatever reason fights back it’s not to be taken lightly. As a feral he does not hold back when he faces a threat, whether to fight it off or with the intent to kill, not only does he have his antlers he will use his hooves and legs with full force and in all directions. Don’t worry this won’t last long, self-preservation is key after all. Nothing should be taken OOCly.

Offsprings have a higher risk of health problem but this is up to the player.

Not as serious or aggressive as he once was in his prime because let’s face it old man gets tired quickly.
Vocalizes with grunts that sound differently depending on what’s going on. The first of the grunts is passive. The second grunt is aggressive. The third is a broadcast. During the rut season this turns into a subtle mating call to attract females and to warn other males. The final one is distress.
Males will be treated equally and females will be treated equally, doesn’t matter what class they are under. However scent is important, if your character is male yet smells like a female they will be treated as such, and vice versa. Having indication of what your character leans toward will help me out on portraying this correctly. If there’s no indication of scent, especially androgynous or scentless, interaction with him will be unpredictable.
Being feral-minded does not mean he cannot fight. He is capable of dealing serious damage just like any other character, however, lacks the ability to dodge so is prone to more damage intake.
If your character finds his rutting behavior not to their liking, possibly even gross or disgusting in some aspects, don’t be afraid to have them kick him for it. Amuse me, I would like to have a good laugh at their reaction to him!
Also PLEASE bear with me! There’s so many things to keep track of! I’m sorry if I got something wrong! I’m not perfect! I always try to portray him as naturally as possible.

What to expect from him:
□Displacement eating, little to no food consumption, 20% of bodyweight will most likely be lost
□Tang of conflict hangs in the air around him, the stage awash in testosterone
□Eyes masters and contenders in a foul mood
□Jousts loudly with vegetation for the benefit of cows and fellow bull’s alike, announcing size and status to anyone who might be listening
□Readily engages in short bursts of light sparring with other males that are for the most part not intense, simply testing the waters and to rid some frustration
□When a female is around digs shallow pits in the ground then urinates into them extravagantly, these shallow pits give off the scent of sexual readiness and dominance status, basks in his own urine drenched pits and splashes it onto himself - this is shown in game by him stomping and then resting, vice versa, or one or the other
□Sample harem perfume with nostrils flared and lips curled back, a behavior called flehmen, this allows him to savor pheromones with his nerve filled palate - this is shown in game by him getting particular close and sniffing the back end of females
□Rests and rubs his chin on a females rear to help stimulate her - this is shown in game by him shaking his head no on a females rump
□Becomes choosy if his harem is big, less desirable females will be chased off especially ones that aren’t up for reproducing
□Keeps a careful eye on his choice harem until they’re fully receptive while maintaining ceaseless vigilance against any covetous contenders
□Waves his antlers from side to side when challenging or a challenger approaches, a ritual of intimidation, usually enough to determine who will dominate thus avoiding the risk of injury in a fight - this is shown in game by him looking side to side
□Second stage of the ritual consists of staring down his opponent like a prizefighter, distance closed and just barely antler touching, circle and wait for an opening
□When tempers flare spearhead the dangerous dance, using sheer will and power in battle, batters any challenger unmercifully
□Once the contest is abruptly decided, he will either trot off or the master will return to his harem
□The victor has urgent business to attend to, in this ever shifting landscape of conflict dominance may last a few days or even just a few hours
□After the thunder of the contest the courting is quiet and almost tender affair, the actual act lasts no more than a few seconds
