The doe raised her weary head as she heard a wispy familiar call. Ravenflight would have turned and ran, screamed and fled. Detested and denied. But she was not that doe anymore. Her eyes wearied with age and restlessness she slowly stepped forward to the place she had always met the call. There were many things the doe had to discuss with Aton. Many things the doe had to do outside the forest, a battle was raging on the horizon and an impending threat would soon meet the doe in the forest of endless.

All things would come to pass in time.

Gehirn was happy. Virgil was as he always had been. Ephire would recover. Iaurdagnire was strong. Otis was growing. Sektry was happy. Herla had found her place. The forest would grow and move on as it always had done. The doe began to walk towards the crying idol, stared at the watery veils before slipping through them completely. Her body vanished from the forest in a puff of blue mist. For those that knew her the most, they would know where to find her. And perhaps if they looked close enough they would see the small note she had traced in the dirt. The doe would come back to the forest unscathed of that she was sure.

In a world far from the forest, in places that lay beyond their own, a feathered doe stepped into a rainy plain. It was there that she would begin her last great journey.
