My deer Tazanna has both a human and a deer form.I need to update her bio but here it is

In regards to her human ref that is not my work I gave credti to the artist.

Quad is usually a blackbuck antelope in the Forest, but on occasion he morphs into a wolf and looks like this. He acts practically the same (a little more serious than he is as a deer).

But either way if it's too complicated, just consider him to be a deer/antelope. Doesn't really matter to me

Edit: My deer Phaios and Endriaga are charaters I pulled from a roleplaying continuity that went down some years ago. Phaios belonged to a species created for that continuity - something between a greyhound and a cheetah (more canine). Endriaga was basically a miniature dragon. They were (and are) a team, though I can't play them together in the Forest very well.

Faunet: I saw that. I like that you gave credit too. I think the image is simply wonderful, kudos for finding the perfect ref:)

Quadraptor: Oy, thats excellent. What is most likely is that Hototo may always perceive Quad as a wolf, or at least some semblance of, even when he is in deer/antelope form. Peripherally, getting caught up in the rockhound event is the cause of all of this.

Zyzzy: HAH. I love me my Dr. Who marathons. I have got Zyzzy down as being a Dr. Who "Archetype".

Phaios: I would call Phaios a Chimera if I ever saw one. Not the old mythical beast, but the term is accurate. What a curious creatura combination. Does she still have those wings? As for Endriaga, How small is a miniature dragon anyhow? Is she somewhat salamander-esque? Or has she got that long traditional dragon neck?

Nuevapaz: I believe that if they were originally human, some of that energy would likely carry over, but not with much intensity. Likely only if they did have memories of their past lives. Who is to say Hototo himself did not have a past life? But because he does not remember anything like that, I would consider him without any other form.

I have interpreted Hope as a changeling deer-kiirin; having the ability to take on a human form. I think that would be perceptible, but possibly not so dissonant with the forests reality as some other human forms may be.

As for Melinoe I believe that Hototo, being a wild creatura and part of the chaotic elegance of nature, may be able to comprehend a life/death energetic being such as that, tangible or not. No need to even visualize it, a true form is a true form. Also noted: "Guardian of the dead".

P.S. Drawring all y'alls pictos and details on paper. Thinking about possibly doodling a few true forms as well. Maybe. No promises. ;p

... i had to put up some complicated story to explain why the hell he is here xD

okay short summary: his body is in a state of coma in the 'human world' while his mind is trapped in this deer body / avatar.
the time in the human world flows slower than here so i don't have to worry that his body dies while he is here xD

when the 'avatar' dies he can return into his own world and body...
... and recently he discovered another 'mental connection' to his own world... but he has not a real idea for now what this means (...just means i haven't written the stories for that by now ^^; )

Yes, it's a rather interesting combination :3 Often a pinch of hyena thrown in, too. I was rather fond of the species' design. Phaios was the only one of her kind with wings, however; wings were an attribute gained from the continuity's deity after passing a challenge which usually involved saving their fellows from some sort of threat.
No, Phaios does not have her wings in-Forest; they have been reduced to markings on her shoulders (Endriaga's have as well). Most of their abilities have been neutralized in order to fit into the Forest.

The description for Endriaga's species was "basically a tiny alligator with wings." Her neck is a little squattier than "traditional," and her face is more snub-nosed than elegant. Her tail is longer and slimmer, though. That pencil sketch was actually based on a common green lizard, which is pretty close to the mental image I get for her character design.
Phaios was originally 3'8" at her shoulder. Endriaga stood around 2' when she was perched on her hind legs like a meerkat. There are numbers (in feet/inches) on that chart, but I know they're a little small.

Well Melinoe is actually based on a figure of Greek mythology. Ah, so it's not really a visual thing.

Amary and Oisín are the ones who were human in their past lives. Oisín has some memories of his past life, but they are mostly vague. Amary isn't even aware of having had a past life, though she sometimes gets strange "feelings."

If past life leaves an echo, then I have two who were humans in their past lives. Bastilion and his cousin Triston.
And also one that was a dragonfly in his past life - Blue.

Isaita: Righto, I hope you have fun putting together all of the puzzle pieces. Unicorns can sometimes be very complicated creatures, but I hear that under normal circumstances they have no regrets. Though I know one or two that do.
