See here~

Do any of you CSS experts know how to space the text from the table border? I don't like how it's right next to it.
Thank you!

Deer Poses!

I find when I am drawing that I have problems deciding what pose is possible for the deer to be in.
Sometimes I just cannot decide what pose to doodle.

The Deer anatomy reference scans help some, but they're not the end all be all.

So if you happen to have nothing better to do, how about leaving a comment with a new or old drawing you've done where you really like the pose OR you find it very interesting.

Don't feel obligated to have to be the world's best artist or have it completely anatomically correct. This is just brainstorming help. Smiling

You may also do a new drawing to show a pose you like. If you go this route then feel free to make it as featureless/vague as you wish provided you can still see the limb placement/body position.

Also feel free to post real pictures of deer or another artists work (WITH THEIR PERMISSION!).

I'll start:
Laying down with leg outstretched
(re-posted with permission)
Bowing
Leaping

In Bocca al Lupo! Learn Italian with Pega's Leowolf!

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a little of the Italian language with you, and teach you an Italian phrase! I got some help with this too - the Leowolf came to act out the phrases for us!

So in English, you know that if you say "Break a Leg!", it's like saying "Good Luck!" Italians have a phrase similar to that:

In Bocca al Lupo!

Which literally translates to "Into the Wolf's Mouth!"

(In the Leowolf's case, since she's female, it would really be "In Bocca la Lupa!", but generally they use the male version for the saying.)

The person being wished to be 'in the wolf's mouth' replies with:

Crepi al Lupo! or simply Crepi!

Which literally translates to "May the Wolf Die!"

If the person replied "Grazie!" (Thanks!) instead of "Crepi!", they'd be wishing bad luck upon themself.

So to recap - to wish someone to 'break a leg' or otherwise 'good luck' in Italian, say:

In Bocca al Lupo!

And make sure the person replies with:

Crepi al Lupo! or Crepi!

Thanks for reading, and hope you enjoyed learning a little Italian! Ciao!!

Icon Trip - A Look. (Updated whenever) (Pictures Added - List Later)

Well guess what?

I got internet in my hotel room.

And so, I have decided to make a blog chronicling my 3 days of being here in Long Island, at a convention called Icon.

Day 1

We left at about midnight Thursday night.

The drive was roughly 6-8 hours long, with 2 ten minute stops in between.

I spent most of my drive playing Pokemon Heart Gold, only for the battery to die just as we hit the city early morning.

The city traffic was horrendous, and our driver, Leo attempted to switch lanes, only to just about cut off Alex, another one of our drivers, causing him to rear end another one of our drivers, Mike. Mike's car is fine, there's barely a scratch on it. Same to Alex's car.

The hotel told Alex that they could check in at 11am, and we planned accordingly; only to get there and find out that they won't allow us to check in until 3pm. Lovely. Oh, and we got there at 9:30am.

We ended up hanging out in the lobby, and I tried my hardest to go to sleep; I sprawled out on one of the couches, only to be woken up an hour later, with one of the guards saying "You can't sleep here." So, I ended up going across the street with a few friends and getting something to eat.

By the time we got back (Noting that I almost got hit by a car when crossing the street), we got our rooms, but we had no time to take a shower, as we had to go to SUNY Stonebrook, and register for Icon. The line was long and it took us an hour just to get registered. When we got in though, Mike, who had been to Icon several times, guided us around, showing us where everything was. When we hit the dining hall for dinner, I was amazed by the whole thing. It was completely different from Canton, and I found myself overwhelmed by everything.

...dude...

Toukan just teleported. Shocked
He went to sniff a fawn while standing in the pond barrier, and...fwoosh. He's now at the Playground. O_O
I wonder how it looked to the fawn...

...yes, I felt this deserved a blog post. |D
