"Keep on galloping
my black horse
carrying me
to unknown shores
through these outlandish woods
and with confidence back home"
He had been captured, sitting in the back of a caged wagon that he could not escape from. Before him, a strong black horse pulled the caravan, several humans guiding the animal through thick woods. Quad did not recognize the place, he knew he was far from his home and was sure that calling out would not help him. The stag sat there on the rickety wooden floor, wondering where he was being taken, wondering if he would ever see his friends or family again.
"Keep on galloping, Outlander.", one of the humans said to the horse. The man rode on the front of the cage, occasionally whipping the horse when he started to stray from the path.
A huge stag with grey-blue fur and a skull mask is lying , nestled under the willow tree by the lake. He seems to be looking distantly out to the crystal clear waters, his wide eyes following the insects. A few deer stop by the lake for a drink when they spotted the stag, they froze in fright taking in his twisted antlers and haunted face. He saw their expressions and spoke calmly his voice bold and brave,
" Do not be afraid...I am here to answer questions, not to kill "
The deer calmed when he spoke and settled down under the old willow tree
" So, what would you like to know...? " They could not think of a question until one young doe spotted the crying idol upstream.
" Why does the crying idol weep? .." she murmured.
" A speldid choice " said the stag " settle down now this is quite a story... " He began the story his voice passionate and ringing in their ears.
A few years ago a group of deer were resting in the forest. It was a hot day and they were worn out, the heat making them irritable and exhausted. It was a few minutes before one doe said,
" I wish there was something new in the forest, theres just a pond, oak tree, rocks and a drinkplaat. It's been like this since I was born, it's getting boring... "
A young stag cut her off. " Don't be ungrateful to the Gods, they worked very hard on creating this haven for us..."
Another stag butted in, " I think she's on to something here, though. Why don't we pray to the Gods for something else in the forest? It won't do any harm. " After a moment of thinking they all agreed and made their way up to the Church. (This was the ruins back then)The Church was beautiful, it's windows were colourfully decorated. Royal blues, violets, green and gold it was all there. The brick was white marble, it shone and roses crawled up the walls filling the air with their sweet arouma. The deer entered through the huge heavy oak door and up to the shining white Abiogenesis idols.
