Ugh... Sometimes I wish I had a super speedy and sadly, super expensive internet connection. Lately it's FOREVER and I mean well over a half an hour before I can acess the Endless Forest. Yes, when I go in all seems well, but no ones there. Which means I'm not connected. I've turned down my game qulaity in the hope it will work and... oh yes! Right there! I heard it! A deer call that must mean... YIPEE! it's working! Still, I was waiting half an hour for that. Not that I'm complaining about the game, it's my interent connection thats to blame!!
I'm a mini deer with 'orca' antlers and a 'common deer' mask. (see avatar) For some reason, even if I save my appearance, I always lose my pelt! It's like I have it, but yet I never did! If anyone has any idea why PLEASE do let me know!!
Rp exercise today. I haven't done this since...neopets like 8 or 9 years ago. While I can still write I'm afraid I lost a feel for rp etiquette. Nebel, my fawn, is as green as I am. I'm hesitant to make a bio, in case that gives her "story" away before she can develop as a character.
I took some screenshots of today's 'progress'.
She thought she saw a blue fog in the Ruin. In the past she avoided the area not out of fear, but out of a strange reverence. It isn't likely she knows the significance of the place yet, but something in the stagnant air warned her away from the stones, which remind her of the worn, blackened teeth of her elders who walk the Ruin daily - it doesn't feel like a place she should be.
Naturally her patience ran out after 5 minutes and the fawn left the cemetery. Stepping into the sunlight made her blood flow again. She felt like running. Immediately forgetting the old stones like teeth, she wove around the adults, roaring and rolling as she went and ignoring the protests of the napping deer.
One deer, however, did not budge despite her efforts to wake forest. She stomped her hoof and bristled with growing excitement before her eyes came to rest on the sigil glowing atop the sleeping deer's crown.
A trick of the Forest? The frightened fawn stepped back as the motionless sleeping deer faded into nothing.
This was not so easily to shake as the Ruins, but the fawn did her best keep her nerves. She sought sunlight, warmth, birdsong, and green fields and above all, company of the other fawns.
