First Character Concept

Yeah trying to design a character to catapult into the forest XD. Just a quick block colour over a scanned pencil sketch. I did make this into a papercut piece but stupid photobucket won't let me upload *frustration*. Lazy so there are no lower legs. I think his name will be Jaska. Oh and I forgot antlers whoops haha. The eye is gross... I'm thinking for in forest set = long mask, beluga/magpie/devout pelt and carnival antlers.

I'm still alive! I'm just getting back into the swing of things from my honeymoon, getting my name changed and stuffs--this scene is just taking a while.

That's what I get for using actual photographs for the background.
At least I get some practice using textures on characters.

Alright, before you is two drawing of my character Sanquin, an odd hybrid experiment thing that was my very first character. She started as a sparkle wolf and sort of grew. But besides that . ..

My art in 2010 was pretty much the left. I thought I had the best art ever, and I drew such beautiful things. Glad I decided to improve. xD

Dragon-Deer Design [Auction Closed]

Came up with this design for TEF but decided to hold the auction on DA instead. Still want to show you guys and see if anyone might be interested though :3

This guy is a mix between a deer and a frilled lizard. The folds of skin around its neck can be extended outward in a flashy display. It may also even be able to turn colors - duller and cooler when calm and more red and flashy when angered. Its mouth is lined with sharp teeth and its long tail can be used as a whip to defend itself, a balance for perching on its hind legs or running, as well as the bright red tip being used as a lure for prey.
