Aaaah I'm trying to break my artblock still, it's been going on far too long and I don't think it's going away any time soon still.. D;
I was so lost about anatomy with this one too.
Seriously.
Deer anatomy.
I've been drawing deer for 4 years.

And I can't.
Regardless, this was still somewhat fun to do.
I think the name Hermes kept circling in my head while doing this but then again that reminds me of Harry Potter so prolly not... : D
I don't consider him as any real character but I've been playing him time to times under this symbol: link

Minow is still only a fawn at this point with a black and speckled coat but once he grows to a full sized buck this is what he will look like.

Unlike Baluji he's rather anti social and tends to stay away from others... yet that doesn't stop others from getting close.

ffff I need to learn how to use GIMP..coloring stinks, ;w;
But besides that, this is just a sketch, which then became colored. Used three different layers/colors to get the shade of her pelt at least almost correct (I don't have a blending pencil, so each color is very apparent |D; )
Many flaws, but seeing as it's just a sketch it's not made to full perfection; just wanted to get a decent enough ref of her face/eyes on here ♥

A more updated version of Balu now. He's lost the flowers on his horns and replaced them with whispy candles. All of that fluffy neck fluff has simmered down into something sleek yet still fluffy. That tail of his grew out into a nice tuft of long red hair. He's much calmer and normally just walks around the forest minding his own. If you happen to spot him you wouldn't miss him! Bright red pelt with candle horns and a long red and white mask. Don't be shy <3
