Possible new Character?

Today I spent the day listening to music and stuff, when all of a sudden the song My Medea came on. I listened to it (as you do when your listening to music) and something hit my mind.

Bears. (oh, and girl almost falling off bear)



(yeah, I know. Camera totally destroyed it. Shame 'cause I'm kinda proud of my bear Sad )

The thing is the song has no reference to bears whatsoever. Anyway now I totally love bears.

Some people have wolves, lions, cows and I don't know. But I'm not sure if anyone has a bear... Oh well.

I'm off to think about bears and... stuff...

Ciegos

Hello everyone,
this is a quick screen edit I did of my deer Ciegos. At the moment. He is still a fawn but I got help from a friend to make the actual screen which I edited, ending up with this. It's edited pretty bad,so I'm submitting it in concept. I hope that is okay.

I'd love to hear your critique and comments. It's my first screen edit ever. It shows. /sigh

Nyaaw, started as a random scribble, turned to be maybe my Edgar's design, I'm not sure yet. At least I might give him a different tail... : D

I don't know why he's bleeding, don't ask me.

Reference Pictures, Batch II

As some of you may know, I am attempting to draw a series of relatively simple, flat-colored reference pictures for each and every one of my characters. This would be the second group of images in this little project of mine. Included in this batch, in order, are Selvian (above), Shizuka, Cruz, and Osias. I might redo the latter, but I am rather pleased with the rest of them, considering. I hope that you like them. ^^

The anatomy's a little wonky and I'm not fully satisfied.. it's also a bit different from what I originally intended, but I like it, I guess.

I just hope the concept hasn't been used before.

I'll update it later with bits of information.
Swansong is pure white, save for an orange nose and a black "mask". His lower lip is also black and his antlers are fleshy orange-red. He's on the thin side and his coat is thick. Eyes are grey-blue.
He wears a golden laurel crown and often has poppies or some other type of flower tangled in his tines.

I tried to play around with photoshop again... =)
Yep, I know that everything is wonky, but its done with mouse and I can´t make straight lines with it to save my life. And, how I wish I could do lines which get thinner to the end. Sigh.

Edit2:
Fixed some things and added the improved deer on the backround.

Edit:
Tried to improve the deer a little, and turned it into a siggy-deer. Hope that the fur looks a bit better now.
