It's drab and lifeless, and I got to admit that the background and spirit-bird-things are f-ugly. The sun-whatever-thing looks like a rotten pizza and her nose is too shiny and too big/dog-like...she has no hoofs and the anatomy is fish-poots...but her eyes came out nicely...and I'm proud of myself for them and will delete this soon enough. Four hours fiddling with my stupid mouse and cramping up my fingers for pretty green eyes...bleah.

As some sort of insane little project to help get back into the swing of things, artistically speaking, I am attempting to draw a reference picture for each and every one of my characters. These are and will continue to be relatively simple, flat-colored images, but I hope that it helps to give everyone a better understanding as to what my deer look like. Included in this batch, in order, are Wesker (above), Cross, Marluxia, Ochiba, Pavo, Pica, and Knox. I hope that you like them. ^^

The pipsqueak next to what I can only presume is my half-assed attempt at Dag is Virgil. The average shoulder height of a Red Deer is 3+ feet, and Dag's is essentially almost double that (yet still 9 inches shorter than an Irish Elk).

Dag's species is basically a moose on steroids, so I've tried (and failed) at giving him a moosey-build. I've done the curve of his back wrong, the back legs are shit, the neck is short but any longer and he looks like a giraffe, fat shoulder, blahblahblah I can't draw bodies so this won't ever be finished (x

Thought I'd post it anyway to give people an idea of how big he is.

No deer in particular (concept, maybe?).. Because I can't even play TEF with my mac ;_;
