Forest Vudu

Last year, I had mentioned somewhere that in ceramics class I was making an udu drum - a ceramic drum based off a type of African drum.
On the drum, I carved in images that represent the Forest.
This was the first shot I took, where I forgot I had flash on still. I thought it would turn out washed out, but you can see how surprised I was by how dramatic it turned out.

88's Normal and Blissful set.

In the normal, I drew her as crying 'cause I figured she probably isn't the happiest now. Her best friends, Laurette and Raimundo, are dead, and she's still alone. She's had her heart crushed about five times now and she's not really.. grasping it anymore. :C

Blissful set.. because I felt like it. xD (DODT mask, devout pelt, antelope antlers)

I've been working on and off on this today. I want to work on deer anatomy, but today I just kind of winged it, without looking at Deer images to go by.... I probably should have. :x

I'm pretty pleased with the out come. I know there are anatomical errors like... the legs.... and joints... but I'm pretty happy with the face 8D

Critique is welcomed. Images to help anatomy are welcomed... Pointers... whatever you got... Let me know. I always want to become far greater... Also... tell me what you do like! I like ideas on how to get better, but I like hearing what I did exceptional on, even more. haha.

I put this in "fan," because... I was inspired to do this, because of TEF. I'm now one of TEF's biggest fans Laughing out loud! I'm still learning everything I can.

Well, I'll see you in the forest! Hope you guys, enjoy the image.

Dawn

From the west the night winds blow,
And the clouds are driven far,
In the sky the moon is low,
Very pale is every star:
While the zephyrs sigh,
And the morn is nigh
When the golden sun will rise on high.

O'er the world the air is still,
All the life is in the sky.
Slowly dawning colors thrill

Forest folk are waking from their sleep.
