The first drawing of Salmunt, a second character of mine. I don't know if he'll ever get a biography but I still wanted to draw him 'cause I'm quite fond of his set. ^_^
Critique is welcomed.

Lady Jewel: I've never been outside the forest before
Juniper: Well it's the best place to see stars
Lady Jewel: What are 'Stars'?
Juniper: Tiny lights in the sky.
Lady Jewel: Isn't that where the twin gods live?
Juniper: yes
Lady Jewel: There are so many stars, Isn't it crowded for them?
Juniper: i don't know...
Lady Jewel:Why can't we watch the stars in the forest?
Juniper: because there are too many branches blocking their light
Lady Jewel: *yawn*... Good night momma
Juniper: I'm not your.... oh nevermind, night kid

Juniper is lady's adoptive 'sister', even though Lady Jewel sees Juniper as a mother figure (Juniper is actually genderless). This picture is of a very young Lady Jewel (hence the lack of antlers, crest, and wings)

Forgive the title, please. And the fail below too D8> I tested all the shading I could do. They all failed. Totally ;; I'm sorry so. I'm bad at drawing raptor faces.
