I warned you... I told you to keep away from the fawn... and you didn't listen...I don't care what you do to me... you ain't hurting the fawn that is under me...... I will protect him no matter how much you pound on me... Normally I don't get so elaborate in my pictures anymore, I get detailed but nothing to this extent. But this, this is something special and for someone who deserves something more than just a mere 'sketch' of sorts. I haven't drawn a dragon in awhile, and while I was reading Shalonesk's TLS (The Legend of Spyro) original comic I said "You know what, I'm going to draw a dragon." And draw one I did.

This is my take on Kumiko if she were a dragon. My thoughts were something oriental/eastern mixed with features of Western as well. The scales are a mixture and array of different plates and flecks to kind of mix up and meld with her actual pelts design. Which is why you see my array of circles all over, they were used to convey a break between the different plates but also a series of scales in many colors.

Anyway, enough of my Ramblings... Happy Birthday to ya hun. I hope this cheers you up, and it was such a pleasant thing to draw, I need to draw dragons more often but if they are like this haha you might see one in a week XD

Drowned Herla/Ophelia

Always been mesmerized by images of drowned Ophelia and wanted to create an image of Herla using these components. It fits nicely with her back story and past life.
