Drowned Herla/Ophelia

Sighthoundlady's picture
Always been mesmerized by images of drowned Ophelia and wanted to create an image of Herla using these components. It fits nicely with her back story and past life.

Beneath the cut because it's 1.) Human art and 2.) a portrayal of death, though there is no blood or gore.

As disconcerting as this

As disconcerting as this picture is it's still very beautiful.

Teach me how to draw arms ;; Mine always end up looking like chicken wings.

[e] I would also like to say that I love the way the cloth/wrappings look like they've actually taken on water; they don't look like they're still dry. That make sense?

Really nice ^^ Love how you

Really nice ^^ Love how you did the cloth and where the skin pokes out of the water, it's quite convincing.

Thank you for introducing me

Thank you for introducing me to this concept. (': I had no idea drowned Ophelia was pictured so much in art!

Aside from this (and very, very late, I might add), this is lovely. You can do water so well. And anatomy. -drool-
