There may have been some problems in your personal life lately, with yourself alone or due to issues with friends, family, encounters with others... whatever the problem is it's left you very stressed out, disoriented, clogged thinking, and its not making it easy to solve this thing. The best thing to do is simply retreat for a time... from the situation, from some of the troubles of daily life in order to get your thoughts in order, become calm, and sort things out. Meditation would be a useful tool. This card can stand for coming to terms with something, meditation/prayer to work out a major problem, and healing.

I actually own the same deck of cards, and I find it interesting how you use them. I'm no good at the "way you're supposed to use tarot-cards" and I find how you do it very interesting. Mine are only collecting dust atm, aw. But you kind of inspired me to look at them differently.

The Emporer suggests power, dominance, leadership and control. Find ways to develop confidence in yourself and your interests/hobbies/work, work towards becoming more outspoken, more comfortable with speaking your mind and sharing ideas and opinions, and of course, standing behind what you think and believe. Of course, there's a fine line between asserting yourself and gaining confidence, and becoming self-absorbed and arrogant. The next card suggests some of the opposite of what the Emporer does- be humble, put others before yourself, be kind and charitable- making a balance of good qualities that work together for brilliant self-growth and discovery.

TLDR- consider qualities you might want to improve, or need in your life, and guide yourself towards becoming those things in thought and action.

Question 2: How can I heal others?

Knight of Cups



Two great analogies for a healing, caring, vigilant person- a knight and water. Water cleans wounds, helps heal, helps one live. Water is fluid and adapts to all circumstances, fits itself for all purposes. It can be both calm and soothing, and incredibly powerful. And the knight, of course, is an age-old symbol of protection, chivalry, strength and honor. This card is describing someone more than its suggesting something- you have these qualities already, whether you're aware of it or not. You have the capability to help and heal the people around you, in action and in word, to protect people from whatever may be troubling them with your presence alone, and share kindness, warmth and laughter with them. Healing comes in many forms, and you already have quite a few at your disposal in your personality. You need not change a thing.

The first card suggests something major is about to happen, that may seem negative or have a bad impact on your life at first. At the least, it will seem like things have been flipped upside down for you for awhile. I can't suggest what in particular this event might be, like I did with other readings- I can't tell. But The Tower always suggests a very powerful, sometimes negative or destructive, event unfolding in someone's life. The second card, however, shows that even this will pass, whatever it may be, and things will return to normal- you will come out the other end of this ordeal stronger and wiser, and possibly even grateful for what you experienced and learned in this ordeal. Things will go from storms to sunshine in your life.

That answer isn't easy... its a goal with no simple steps to follow to get where you want fast. Of course you know this, but the card I drew points it out quite well in its state of neutrality. But, it also has a lesson... balance yourself- your mind, your emotions, etc. To do that means taking a lot of time to think about yourself, your personality, how you react to things and why, why that started and whether you like that or not. To truly be aware of yourself is the starting point of change, and from there balance is most important, especially when it comes to being assertive. Assertion is the sign of a strong-willed, determined and confident person- in the right amounts. Take it too far and you will become simply aggressive and difficult to be around. The soft-spoken, gentle qualities are necessary to balance out the strong-willed mind and proud voice. Work on attaining one, and also work on blending what you already have into it. How this will happen however, is difficult to say. Its a very personal journey, only you know what to make of it- but this could be a starting point.

The message I personally got was that you may hear from someone you've been waiting to for some time now, be it for personal reasons, a job, any opportunity or reason. This is also a good symbol of a very creative person- events in your life may lead you, if they haven't already done so, to do something great with any talents or skills you have, especially in the arts. His message is one full of possibilities for the near future

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as if what you have planned will work out as you're hoping. I can't say much more without knowing more about the situation itself... but despite this being a scary card, it doesn't necessarily mean instant doom- this card may simply be saying that your current approach isn't the best one for the situation, and the end result may not be what you expect. Take time to reflect on the situation at hand and reflect on yourself, and maybe reroute a bit. You may find that another method is best, and will have a better result for everyone, especially you. This card has another important message, that one must let go, and accept that the circumstances are what they are. To no longer resist change or sudden, maybe unwanted developments, but simply allow them to happen, even if they may be unpleasant initially. With change comes renewal, after all.
