Osmotious lays underneath a small willow tree. Hearing the approaching hooves of another his ears pick up. Lifting his head he sees a feather doe heading his way. Slowly he stands stretching his long legs. His coat is a dark smokey color never looking fully solid as it swirls in the wind. Large intricate antlers decorated with red candles burn with the setting sun. His appearance is haunting as his skull face with glowing white eyes stares back at the doe. Upon her approach he lowers his head and bows gracefully towards. "Good evening." He spoke.

Osmotious accepts the gracious gift from the doe before speaking. "As you wish." He motions with his neck for the doe to lead ahead of him. "What is a young lass like yourself doing around here?" He asks softly. When the large buck speaks you can hear a second lower voice underneath of his own. They walked towards the ponds edge. Tall water grass grows all along the ponds edge except near the fallen tree.

The doe reaches for the water and drinks a little. She looks up and stares at osmotious. "My name is Fernfear. You can call me anything though." Fernfear dips down to take a bite of grass when she hears a wolf growling in some grass across the pond. She stood still, eyes frozen on the grass.

the bird walks around wings, beak, tail, and legs on fire flys around happy looks around sees a deer eyes it carefully then drinks water from the pond leans up and flaps wings like a duck does shakes head before flying up in pine tree watching the deer

sees the wolf notcing it growling no good to a phoenix swooped down in front of wolf and makes a noise that sounds like a mix of a crow and eagle sees the wolf move and flsy back in tree looks at the deer still

wiping the tears from her eyes, she manages a yes. the wolf had bitten her leg and broken it. she told osmotious but didnt know what to do so she layed down.

Fernfear lays her neck on top of osmotious and falls asleep. she whispers "what about my 2 fawns? what if i dont make it"

"i need to nurse them, give them warmth, protect them. they rely on me. If i die tonight it wont be seen by my fawns. theyd cry for decades." Blood was soaking the ground beneath them." I must get away from here. you and the bird shall watch my fawns. Theyre names are brownie and bluebell. If you need me find me in the hills, dead or alive.they cant see me like this EVER!"

"Easy lass." He said nuzzling her. "You wondering by yourself is a sure risk for your life and ive run from family before because of my own death. Lets see if we can bandage you up and take you too them. This way if a wolf or otjer predator shows up i can protect you..."he said trying to calm her. He shifted slightly and moved out from under her. He walked and bit off some fungus from the tree placing it on her wouns. It would absorb the blood. "Bluebell and brownie? Where are they?" He said returning to her side. He didnt lay fully next to her, he wishes for her to get on his back. "I'll carry you lass, and ill see to it that you survive." He said nuzzling her to come with him.

Spades somewhat could hear voices in the forest unsure of what it was he went and followed the mumbles. When he had walked for few minutes about 5 feet from the pond he seen a doe and a stag one injured. "Huh?" he softly mumbled to himself. Not noticing he alarmed one by stepping on a small twig.

Once on the large stags back she notices large bone spikes sticking out of his back, but she was small enough that they wouldnt touch her.she could also feel a cool kisty fog geeling from his fur.
Osmotious head turned to the sound of a twig snapping and he let out a loud bugal to ward off the wolf. "I dont smell a wolf lass, but better hurry." He spoke
Once fernfear was on his back he stood and carefully made his way to the big oak tree. His candles lit their way and just as she said candles lit the outside of the tree. It had taken sometime getting to the old oak, but they arrived. Osmotious walked up to the opening seeing the two small fawn huddle next to eachother inside. Turning his head to face fernfear he said "perhaps I should sleep outside. Dont wish to wake the little ones." He said leaning down to help her off.


*sorry I need to head to bed its 11:30 and I work at 4:30am. We can continue tomorrow. But we can just say osmotious stays awake all night listening for predators protecting them.

im back i went to bed it was 12:00 am

the Phoenix swoops down beside the doe and looks at her lands beside her and the stag wonders if she be okay took flight and cricle the area looking for any danger makes loud noises that sound like a mix of a raven and eagle to keep dangers away still cricles to watch for danger

Osmotious came in from the rain laying nearest to the entrance way keeping eye. He watched over the doe as she slept looking for signs of fever, but luckily none came. Morning break would be difficult to explain to the fawns. Osmotious shook his head and mane. "This will be interesting." he thought to himself. He laid his head down and watched the rain until day break. The light trickle of rain, but birds calls could be heard as well as other deer returning to the forest.

He stood and shook himself free of the leaves in the old oak.

Spades smelt around trying to find the doe. It was raining The stag loved rain but since it was raining he couldn't smell her scent until he smelt extinguished candle near The old oak.

And decided to go towards there.
