Hello. This blog is just to help mature my
character Aatos so that he can reach his - uh - full potential.
Anybody is free to join in at any time!

Wandering around, the young fawn pretends to be a powerful stag. He puffs out his chestfur and strikes a pose. Aatos imagined himself in all the glory of his imagination;
with twenny-five tines! An' I'm really tall! An' ... he falters. What else? Ohyes.
An' a reallyreally loud roar! Wish I could. and with that he plops down on the grass and sulks.
Why cannae I speak? It's annoying! Because when others go... he continues his internal monologue.
~ and this, dear reader, is where you character steps in!
Uhhhhh. I do not remember
Ranore watched the fawn from the trees, his wings and tail twitching as the baby continued his antics. He remembered that at that age, though that was more the owl deer's actions over his own. He couldn't have been that haughty in his youth, could he?
Sorry for the fail post.
Ohdear. Sorry I was late.
Aatos suddenly stops his train of thought, a picture flashing out to the creature he had caught a glimpse of from the corner of his eye; a questioning head tilt. The dark grey fawn looks over his shoulder again, and is intrigued by what he sees, as he takes fast little steps closer.
Why don't you just move this
Ranore continued to watch him, puzzled, but intrigued nonetheless. He remained where he was, but stretched out along the branch to show that he was no threat.
Very, very good idea. >.
Gazing up at him, Aatos puzzled on how this creature could have climbed up to such a high place, and so he sent a picture of what he envisioned a deer climbing a tree, before chastising himself not to be rude.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
Okay, so I misunderstood what
Ranore's response was mixed as the picture suddenly connected with his mind. Ranore himself found it interesting once his magic said it wasn't a threat, but the owl deer reacted negatively. He flinched, losing his balance on the branch, half fluttering half flailing to the ground. Annoyed, he ruffled his feathers as he stood, watching the fawn.
"No, I didn't climb it. I flew up the tree...I guess I fall to get down," he joked.
Can Echosong join in?
@echosong Of course! Anybody
Of course! Anybody is allowed to join in, and you can decide whether she joins in on the current rp (if waning-sun is fine with it...?)
@Waning-sun
Aatos stared, dumbfounded. He had never seen a deer like this before, if you could call it a deer. It was more a dark colored bird with four legs, but fascinating all the more. Curiously, he flashed another image - he was getting better and this - of the bird-deer's dark wings and a flying bird, accompanied with a head tilt, all this with a sense of wonder around them.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
I'm fine with you joining in
And Niriya, I'll answer in a little bit, got to get something done first.
Yessir! -salutes- > u <
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
Sorry, I've been so busy
Ranore's ears twitched at these new pictures, barely managing to keep the owl deer from recoiling as his mind tried to decipher what he wanted. "I..." he faltered for a moment, still uncertain if he followed him right, "I can fly, if that's what you're asking." his ears flattened to his skull as he added sheepishly, "I'm still learning how to stop myself from falling."
D'aww, yes! I'm going to make

Excited that he had gotten his message over - here was the first who could understand what he was trying to say in the first go- Aatos nodded enthusiastically, but hesitated when he saw that the owl-deer - for indeed it resembled one - faltered, and with that a slight sadness entered his strings for thought. All the others had acted like this, and some even ran away, glancing back at him with something like fear. With obvious restraint, Aatos dampened his thoughts so that they not come in such great vividity and strength. He said sorry in the only way he could express, with a deep bow and a retreat into the trees.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
"Wait!" Ranore took a few

Aatos's breath quickened - was the owl-deer coming to attack him? Panicked, he swerved into a bush, and listened out for the beat of running hooves, trying desperately to slow his heart down, so that his breaths wouldn't be gasping, was the the drumming of hooves? But there heard nothing. Nothing at all. Until a dark shadow passed over by the bush, and Aatos glanced upwards. What he saw became imprinted in his mind - a flying dark shadow against the sun, feathers spread, and limbs as if in mid-leap. The ultimate of glory.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
Where did he- Ranore's wings
"Why did you run away?" he asked quietly, tilting his head at the shape of the fawn. He did his best to hide his surprise. The owl deer knew more than he did sometimes. Ranore had to get used to that.
He saw the dark shape,

Intrigued, Aatos flashed a quick succession of thoughts; The feathered body of the owl-deer above, a fawn, a distinct headshake and an stag. His expression was one of earnest curiosity and dawning understanding.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!

Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
Ok, I think I'll join in now,

Echosong trotted through the tall grass, mind wandering. It was a nice day to go for a walk. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a shadow moving. It was the shadow of something flying, but it was too big to be a bird. What was it? Intrigued, the doe walked over to see, taking care to be quiet. "Hello?", she called softly.
I'd like to join in if that's

Startled out of his wits, Aatos leapt up, disturbing his swallow companion who darted into the air, flashing strong thoughts of a warning, lowered, sharp antlers and dangerous teeth. These he had never seen before, but they came up unbidden from his memories.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
Nika rolled lazily around in
OOC: Nika will be separate from the others.
@Nika- sure! -- Movement

Movement caught his eye, and he turned his head sharply towards it - to find a dark coloured doe in the act of standing up. He flashed a succession of pictures that all hinted at the question; who was she?
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
She slowly made her way

@Waning-sun
I've finally put up a lazy introductory rp for my signature guy if you felt like interacting with him.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
She was a bit startled.
OOC: Omg, I'm so sorry, I was rping with your other character! xD!
I saw him, I've been debating
"Hiya," Ranore replied without much thought. He fluttered down from his branch once the swallow was well gone. He had felt the urge to pursue it, even though the quick bird would easily avoid him. The owl deer might have been able to hunt it once, but not now. He landed beside the fawn, protectively putting himself between the doe and the little one, even though he saw no threat from her. The fawn had just been scared by her arrival.
@Nika It's fine. o

Aatos frowned. He didn't see anything wrong with being unable to speak, but he nodded anyways and remembering how other deer greeted one another performed a small bow, taking a quick glance at the doe. Straightening up, he sent out a strong image to his companion - and the fledgling barn swallow swooped down to perch on his head.
@Waning-Sun Then Charles Wallace shall be his nickname. "Short" for Feenix. trolol. 8D

Aatos glanced worriedly at his companion who had fluttered up to a high branch and was eyeing the owl-deer apprehensively, before noticing that the owl-deer had oh-so-silently landed beside him - without him even feeling the earth thud! Here was a fascinating creature indeed.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
"Oh, I didn't mean to offend
Echosong staggered as an
@Nika Aatos nodded
Aatos nodded empathetically, before sending a thought to the swallow so that it flew onto her head and perched there, twittering with pride that it had learnt to fly. Although he could not laugh or smile, there was still an air of happiness around him.
@Echosong
Calming down, Aatos realised that it was a doe who had startled him, and bowed deep; sorry about that. He sent a few gentler thoughts of a still pond, and a serene starlit sky, before sniffing politely at her.
@Waning-Sun. Teehee. click here

She giggled,"Aren't you
@Nika At the mention of
At the mention of swallows, Aatos perked up and seemed to glow with excitement, listening with rapt attention to her description of them. He eyed his companion - could he turn purple and emerald? Upon hearing this thought, the swallow became rigid with mortification. Him? That garish colour? Not happening!. Harrumphing, Aatos gave his companion an annoyed look.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!

OOC: I've actually seen that happen with humming birds! This little male chased this poor bird around. They're quite aggressive over the feeders too! xD!
@Waning-sun and Echo Aatos
Aatos was surprised when he noticed that the owl-deer - Ranore, he really must start remembering that..- seemed to apparently lose control over his leg muscles (lolwhut?!) to flop down onto the ground, and gingerly, he did the same, cuddling up tentatively to the feathers.
@Nika Oh my. o_o
It seemed that Aatos had a weakness for any kind of bird - with every tidbit of information, he inched closer, drinking the words in. Flashing what he thought a hummingbird would look like - a swallow-like creature that hummed - he nodded again, trying to indicate to continue on with the bits about hummingbirds.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!

The bird cheeped sleepily at the nuzzle, but his big-friend was already asleep. Aatos dreamt that there were other worlds here. Other worlds to explore, with ravens and hummingbirds and fat robins.

She began to feel tired as
@Nika Feeling a warmth
Feeling a warmth against his back, he shuffled sleepily closer, snuggling against the dark fur. The barn swallow was nestled between the two, and was happily warm.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
She liked her new company.

@nika Breathing deeply, Aatos
Breathing deeply, Aatos registered in his subconciousness that there were some deer who were nice, in fact, and he was glad for this.
@Echo and Waning-sun
Wide eyed, Aatos stared questioningly at the doe, shuffling forwards tentatively to sniff at her. He sneezed - a new scent to remember - before nodding at her question. He tapped her foreleg with a small nose to say hello, in his way, before wriggling on his stomach back to Ranore.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
They slept for long time,
@Nika Mumbling sleepily,
Mumbling sleepily, Aatos half rolled, half stumbled to his hooves - just as a large raindrop fell with a plop on his head. Fully awake, he sent out a startled thought - and dashed into the safety of the trees.

Ranore gave a bob of his head toward Echosong while watching the fawn wriggle back to him. The owl fawn had the urge to pounce on him, to play wrestle, but he stopped himself. He was too old to play wrestle. "He talks in pictures," he said, looking up at the doe. "Interesting...isn't it?"
She smiled and trotted behind
