Hello. This blog is just to help mature my
character Aatos so that he can reach his - uh - full potential.
Anybody is free to join in at any time!

Wandering around, the young fawn pretends to be a powerful stag. He puffs out his chestfur and strikes a pose. Aatos imagined himself in all the glory of his imagination;
with twenny-five tines! An' I'm really tall! An' ... he falters. What else? Ohyes.
An' a reallyreally loud roar! Wish I could. and with that he plops down on the grass and sulks.
Why cannae I speak? It's annoying! Because when others go... he continues his internal monologue.
~ and this, dear reader, is where you character steps in!

I'm so sorry- I probably didn't see that part. DX

Family? His family was probably long gone from the fields of flowers - not like his missed them. They thought him as much too different. He flashed towards her a vague memory of a hazy, sunny day and the silhouettes of his family, before sending another picture, a shake of his head.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
OOC: Ha ha! xD! It's okay!
"Oh, you don't like your family? I suppose I don't like mine either, well my step-mother," she said adjusting in the grass. "She was cruel, or is if she is still there."
Ranore watched the pair,
Aatos is such a little cutie pie.

His companion was back! Though, the little swallow was wary so it stayed a distance away. This creature was very much like the day-time owls that seemed to want to eat it. Aatos shifted when Ranore twitched his wing slightly - was he being too heavy? But it didn't seem so, with Ranore relaxing his muscles and all. Aatos sniffed at a stray feather curiously. How could an owl-deer like this learn to fly, without any others to help him? At least, none that he had seen, but this sparked a question to Ranore; a flying owl-deer, and another one, this time a light red, and another, all the colours he had ever seen, and a head tilt.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
Ranore was silent for several
@Waning-sun and Echo So that
So that was where Ranore came from! The grey fawn searches for a strange scent in Ranore's feathers in an attempt to figure out exactly where this owl-deer originated from, but found none other than the forest smells. Confused, he shook his head abruptly - that could be pondered on at a later stage. For now, he was content to sit and watch.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
"We were born here, Silly,"
Sorry about the late

Echosong pondered the thought-images for a minute. Guessing the meaning, she nodded. "I understand." She listened to what Ranore said to the fawn, also curious as to the owl-deer's origins. "I think I may have seen another owl-deer a while ago. From a distance."

It's alright, echo!

Aatos gave Ranore a lofty look - of course he knew that! Or, at least he knew that but a few seconds ago. The grey fawn's attention was diverted by the doe speaking. Upon seeing that she understood, he inclined his head with an air of dignity. He was not going to regret who he was - but if only he could speak! If he could, he would have urged the doe to say more, but all he could manage was a frantic image of him waving a leg in a beckoning fashion, and with an eager expression.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
OOC: How about I join in
@NikaGike It's sure be fine
It's sure be fine by me, though, we need consent (such fancy wording, niri..) from Waning-Sun and Echo. o 3o
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
I'm alright with you joining
I'll get some form of a response tomorrow. I'm about to crash now.
Ranore's ear twitched as he glanced toward the doe, "Really?" he tilted his head. He knew there were a couple of them around(Huh. No really there buddy?) but he hadn't had the chance to meet one, "I've seen a couple too...but...I never got to properly meet them."
He snuggled closer to Ranore,
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
OOC: Thanks Waning-Sun!
It's fine with me!

Echosong, slightly confused, asked the fawn, "Do... do you mean I should go on? About what?"
She nodded to Ranore. "Perhaps you'll get a chance some day."

And to all, if you are finding the rp to be trailing off or becoming a bit dull, it's alright for you guys to say so. After all - Aatos is a minor character of mine, so I won't be doing much about him.

Frowning in slight annoyance, he sent a picture of a coloured owl-deer, and huffed in the spring air. Eying this doe, he assured himself that she was no threat - it was just that lying down, he felt very small indeed. Bending his neck down, still keeping an eye on the doe, he lipped at a few fresh shoots of grass.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
OOC: Okay, I'm just going to
She had been trailing through the Wretched Wood for a few days now. Her body was covered in cuts and scratches, and her fur dank with mud and sweat. Her hooves an body ached from walkingfor so long. She was lost, tired, and hungry. Nothing in this poisonous wood was edible. The water was thick and stagnant like tar, and the mushrooms seeps with poison. There was no grass, only dirt, dead leaves, and sharp brambles that reached out to cut the poor passerby.
Nika shivered madly; she was starving. She made the mistake before of drinking the tar water out of desperation, but luckily survived that ordeal. She began to weep, "I'll never get out of here." She wept as she walked, pushing through more brambles and sharp branches, until she caught a glimpse of something. It looked like two people standing with each other in the distance. Nika nearly jumped for joy. She began to run as fast as she could to them, running through every deadly blackberry vine, and tripping over the roots of the trees and rock to her destination. Just as she was nearing the two figures, she noticed that they weren't moving. Just as she was about to encounter them, her hind leg was jerked above her, and pulled up the tree. She was trapped.
She panicked and began struggling for her life. The old rope constricted her leg; she could feel the blood leaving her legs to her head. "Please, help me!" she begged the figures, but their response was only silence. She realized that they were two statues covered in moss and bramble vines. She hung there in sadness. This was her end, to die hanging from a tree while her only companions are two ancient statues.
"No!"
"That's what she wants! She wants me to give up and die! Well, I won't have it!" She reached for the earth and dung her hooves into it, pulling her body down, and slowly making her way to the statues. She gripped one hoof behind one, and then the other. As hard as she could she pulled herself, bending the branch, until...SNAP! The branch broke, and the force pushed her forward beside the statues.
It was suddenly warm. Bewildered, she opened her eyes that she had shut when the branch broke, and looked around. It was a lovely, golden birch forest. The bark of the trees were a paper white with the beautiful black designs that were drawn into the white. Blue hyacinths grew all over in little clusters, and the birds flew and danced in them. She was in awe. In the distance, she could hear the flow of water. Her throat was dry, and she slowly stood up. The branch and rope was still attached to her leg, but she didn't care. As she walked, she dragged the dead, black branch behind her. It was heavy, but all she wanted was water.
There were voices in the distance, and her ears pricked toward them as she walked. She could figure out how to get the rope and branch off in her own. Who knows how friendly the natives are?
When she saw the pond in the distance, she began to dash to it; the branch dragging grass and dirt with it, but she didn't care. Her hooves reach the edge of the grand pond, the soft soil seeping through her hooves. She brought her lips to the water, and began to drink, not knowing that there was a small group of three behind her.
That's a shame that he's just
The young male gave a nod at the doe's words, but his attention was snagged elsewhere. He pulled himself to his hooves, moving slow as to not completely upset Aatos, whatever he might have been doing at that moment, his ears perked as much as they would as he watched a doe...dragging a tree branch? He grunted his surprise at the sight, his wings twitching as he glanced over at his new companions, "Should we help...?" he jerked his head toward the doe at the end of his question.
And too lazy to code.
Whee! Join the lazy pica too!
Alerted to a furious rustling and thumping, Aatos lifts his head quickly - was something wrong? But no - here was a doe crashing through the undergrowth wildly with something that looked like a branch trailing behind her. He didn't get a good enough look-see to clearly identify this doe before Ranore blocked his sight of view.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
After she drank until her
With her back hoof she began to break parts of the branch. The branch was slick, but she was able to break off most of it, until she became too tired to do more. She looked up from the branch and saw the three deer. It made her jump a little. One was part deer, part owl; she had never seen a deer like that before. And beside him was a young fawn. Oh, how she missed fawn. It had been years since she had seen one. And beside the fawn was a doe. She was dark with long peacock feathers on her head.
"Are they a family?" she thought as she looked at them.
Echosong was about to reply
By the forest's standards
Ranore held the newcomer's gaze for a moment before acknowledging Echosong's words.
"I don't think she is, but she could be. I don't understand how she has a branch wrapped around her leg," he shifted to allow Aatos a chance to get a better look at her, realizing at that moment that he had put himself between them. Old habits died hard.
OOC: Ha ha, yes! xD! She
She looked away from them, she didn't want to disturb them, or scare the little fawn, considering that she saw her reflection and looked horrible. Her hair was a mess, slicked with the tar from the Wretched Wood. Her fur had dried blood from her cuts, with tar and leaves as well. Her face was dirty with a few cuts, and dried blood. "It's best not to approach" she thought.
.
Echosong stepped forward
Ranore looked between them,
OOC: Lol, sorry, just
She looked at the three. "Yes, I'm alright," she said,"Just a little banged up. Thank you, though." She bowed curteously at them although her muscles ached. "If I may ask, what is this place?"
..Ahm sorry for the late

All Aatos could do was sit there as he watched this stranger doe drink thirstily, kick at the smooth branch and seem to watch them. Blinked. And eventually got up to crane his neck sideways around Ranore - just as the dark owl-deer moved. Twitching an ear with slight irritation, he eyed this peacock feathered doe before side-skipping over to watch from a closer distance, though he wished he hadn't a few moments later - the stench of fear, tar and blood wafting from the doe was overpowering, and he soon stepped back hurriedly, shaking his head continuously and sending pictures for his companion to come to him.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!

"That's very kind of you," she said bowing her head. "I'm sorry I disturbed your family." She felt the little swallow shuffle in her hair; it made her smile.

"Yeah...it's right over here," he added, ignoring her family comment.

Aatos watched for a few moments before deciding the follow them - just because he wanted to. Not because that Ranore was going with them. Of course not. Assuring himself that the swallow fledgeling was not in any danger, he tagged along from the tree line curiously studying the doe.
Thank you, Tuo and Kohva!
She gently turned her head,
