Meadow; The blue bowl? That
The blue bowl? That sounded interesting. "Lead the way." Following the stag, Lily gazed around as the trees grow thin and their colors went from the natural brown hues to these light greys and strange markings. Odd. The doe softly sniffed one. As they went deeper into the birch trees, the green doe paused to gaze around. "This forest . . . it's so large and filled with so much." Ears perked to the sound of birds fluttering by, looking over to Ren. A part of her was sad that she never knew any of this was here . . . but then it made her glad that she was seeing it all. Long tail dragged on the floor, in the snow and old leaves.
"They call it endless. I'm
Meadow; Endless? She began to
Endless? She began to wounder if it really was . . . if so, how would you measure endless? Green gaze drifted from one tree to the next. Each thin and tall. All beautiful agents the winter snow that drifted every so often unto the forest floor. Upon the approach of the cluster of trees around in a circle, Lily's ears perked up as she got closer. "Hmm . . ." Taking a few more steps, the doe then took a leap or so till she was at the edge of the little meadow of blue. This must be the blue bowl that Ren spoke of. "Wow . . . it is so blue . . . and beautiful." Walking closer, she sniffed the plants lightly.
Ren waded into the sea of
Meadow; Following him, she
Following him, she gazed at the berries. How were they growing so well in the on coming cold? This forest was truly amazing. Seeing the stag eat one, and took what he had said into thought, Lily leaned over and picked one off a bush and ate it. Her face puckered a little, eyes squeezing shut. ". . . oh my." Sour. But she did take the risk knowing that some were sour. After the puckering stopped, the doe let out a little sigh of relief. It was still rather good, just caught her off guard. Walking around the blue bowl, she glanced over to Ren, seeing him eat some more of the berries. "Umm . . . how long have you been here? You seem well . . . informed on everything in the forest." The green doe titled her head.

Weee, Lily is seeing new things. I had to flip a coin to decide if the berry would be sweet or not.
lol
{Yay for new things! And
Ren watched as she ate her first berry, and as the curious expression crossed her face, and tried not to smile. It must have been sour. Maybe the next one would be sweeter. He munched on a few more berries, about three at the same time. One was sour, but the other two were sweet and helped balance it out. He swallowed as Lily asked him a question, and inclined his head thoughtfully.
Let's see, how long had he been here? He hadn't really kept track, and without parents to inform him, was unaware the exact date of his birth. The stag went over the previous winters in his mind. "Mmm. Four years I think. Yes, that's right." He nodded assuredly. "I just did a lot of exploring, especially as a fawn."
Meadow; She nibbled on a few
She nibbled on a few more, a couple turned out to be pretty sweet, and a few a bit tart. Yet, she liked them in all. Long tail swayed from side to side as she munched on the berried. Making her way threw the bushes. As Ren answered her question, she titled her head. Four years, such a long time. "Is there still much to explore here?" Only asking, because he said this forest was called endless after all. Her lips were now stained a purple-blue from the berries, still munching on another. They were rather good, a more different then eating grass and alege all the time.
"Oh yeah, of course there's
Well you must have seen the antler and pelt spells, there's a pine tree right next to the pond, and people sleep there a lot- or maybe you haven't? You know, if you fall asleep in a mushroom circle, then you can turn deer into other animals, and- Oh, sorry."
The stag finally stopped talking, his face under the beluga mask blushing slightly. Ren then noticed the blueberry stains on Lily's lips, and chuckled lightly. Although he couldn't tell, he had the same juice dye on his own, only messier.
Meadow; The doe stood there
The doe stood there captivated by all this information being tossed at her. Red hills? Antler and Pelt spells? Sleeping with mushrooms and turning into animals? Lily took a seat; resting her rump on the cold floor as she chewed some more berries; finding they were one of her favorite things about leaving the pond for this trips. Well besides making friends with Ren. She did enjoy his company. "That is really a lot to see. I never realized there was so much here . . ." The green doe was holding back a giggle from seeing the stags messy face. Splashed with the blues and purple stains, as well as a soft rosie color on his cheeks.

I won't lie. xD
I always thought having spells in the RP side of things so random. But I can roll with it.
weeeeeee
{Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry =O
Ren nodded, his mouth full, and sat across from the doe. He swallowed. "And if you think there are a lot of places to see, there also so many deer here to meet! And other creatures too." He added as an afterthought, remembering that it was well known that many new and strange creatures now dwelled in the forest. He still remembered when the majority of the forest's inhabitants were deer like him, with flat faces. Or maybe he just hadn't been paying attention.
Meadow; Swallowing a
Swallowing a mouth-full of chewed berries, Lily's ears were perked high as she listened to him. She knew more deer lived in the forest, now she was curious to how many. Were there hundreds? Or even possibility more? "Do you have . . . many friends . . . Ren?" Lily barley had two . . . that is, if Ren was her friend. The lion stag said he was her friend, and she thought Cid could be seen as a friend as well.

Lol, it's fine.
We can roll with it, if you'd like. c:
At that last question, Ren
"I mean, I've met a lot of deer, but it's just... I don't always see them again. And it bothers me, especially the first time it happened, so you could say I was kind of stand-offish for a while after that. And that's another thing about the forest I guess, there a lot of deer who come and live here, but sometimes they leave too."
Meadow; Seeing him slow down,
Seeing him slow down, and almost shut down from her question; Lily's ears dropped back and down. As he spoke, she was a bit surprised. He didn't have many friends? The doe would have guessed that the stag had many. Knew other stags and bucks, friends with fawns and many does. His explanation was interesting. ". . . I knew deer and . . . things came here; but leave?" The doe has seen strange things crawl out from the pound before. Those moments left her terrified and alone; but she came to terms it was normal. But leaving? How was that possible? Tail twitched. Unless he meant . . . death?
Ren still hadn't looked up,
He didn't want to upset her any more than he might have already. And he felt that mentioning one of the other ways a deer could leave the forest might do just that. A route that was sometimes taken through the pond in the past.
Meadow; The green doe stared
The green doe stared at the masked stag. Completely and utterly speechless. He seemed so torn at what he was saying. Her long tail twitch and twisted around her back legs for a moment as he then suggested for a new topic. Lily nodded softly. Thinking a little bit, keeping her muzzle full of berries for the moment. "What else do you do, during the winter?" The females voice was tiny and soft, curious. Standing still, and before Ren; hoping he would be alright.
Ren welcomed the change of
Meadow; The doe did remember
The doe did remember seeing figures about her during the last two winters moving on-top of the ice. She wasn't what they were doing, but now she could put a word to their actions. Interesting. "Well, I can agree with you on that. The warmer days are my favorite." Lily added when he said that he wasn't a fan of the cold. She giggled at the rushing words, but not for to long. Taking one more blueberry, eating it happily. At least these berries weren't affected to much from winter.
Ren nodded in agreement to
Meadow; At the note of being
At the note of being ready to go, she nodding. Eating a small mouthful of berries and turned to Ren. Cheeks puffed out a little as she chewed. When he said playground, she trying to imagine what it would be like. But that was hard to say, seeing as she had already seen so many new things here. Swallowing, Lily grinned. "Ready to go." Long tail swayed behind her, a little excited to explore some more.
"Great!" The stag got to his

Hello everyone, I have been away for a long time because of family stuff, college and things. Hope you all didn't think I poofed away. Anyway, I would like to continue but all the settings of most of these rps were taking place in the snow of the beginning winter. Now spring is coming and the pond has melted.
Has Lily's experience living outside of her pond for these months have changed her opinion or will she just go running back?

The once white forest was beginning to drip, and drop, and melt away the winter ice. Patches of green were showing up all over this quiet world and it captivated a certain doe. Bright eyes darted from dripping icicles to newly budding flowers from the warming earth. Never had the young female seen this occur, for before this winter, she had spent her winters under the ice of the pond and waited for the frozen roof to brake and release her.
Oh welcome back
@Meadow; Thank you, and I was
Sure, whatever you think

The once white forest was beginning to drip, and drop, and melt away the winter ice. Patches of green were showing up all over this quiet world and it captivated a certain doe. Bright eyes darted from dripping icicles to newly budding flowers from the warming earth. Never had the young female seen this occur, for before this winter, she had spent her winters under the ice of the pond and waited for the frozen roof to brake and release her. Long tail dragged in the wet slush as the doe stopped to turn her head back to look behind her. Did she leave Ren behind? " . . . hello?" Ears pulled forward, to listen for a reply.
(Sorry for the late
Ren stumbled through some thick brush only a moment after Lily's call, trotting up to her. Funny, usually he was the one far in front. "Sorry, I- slipped." The stag didn't elaborate. He didn't dwell on the somewhat embarrassing scene that the doe had just missed, smiling cheerfully. "Isn't it great that the snow is finally leaving? It's still a little chilly, and not nearly as nice as Summer in my opinion though. What do you think?" It occurred to him Lily might not have experienced Spring before, staying mostly in the pond, and completely submerged for the duration of Winter.
Meadow; The green doe turned
The green doe turned to look back as Ren caught up with her; nodding. "I . . . I agree very much so. It's good to see the grass and flowers again." Long tail swayed behind her. It had been a long couple of months, but the doe had learned so much in that time. All the different places in the forest and that it wasn't so bad to not always running back to her watery home. Home. The pond probably wasn't thawed out all the way on the top . . . but she was glad to know it would always be there. Lily turned back, facing the white stag, " . . . thank you, Ren." Before she turned back, trotting slowly past the dripping trees.
Ren smiled and nodded in
Meadow; Lily had made it a
Lily had made it a few yards until she had noticed that the stag was still standing in the place she had last saw him. Head titled to the side, a confused expressed clung to her face. "What's wrong?" Ears fell a little, not sure if she had said or done something; or if Ren was just thinking about something to cause him to fall behind. The doe turned, walking back over to him; slow at first. She didn't intend to part ways with him, being as he was the only friend she has made so far. Besides a fellow aquatic doe, but she had only met them.
"Oh nothing, I was just...
Meadow; A look of relief
A look of relief washed over her face when he closed the gap between the two of them, asking what she would like to do. Softly, she rubbed her hoof in the warming earth, looking around before returning her green gaze to other. "I was thinking . . . the pond . . . to see what it looks like as the ice melts." Face warm, hoping it didn't seem to boring. The doe has enjoyed her time with the other, and recalled that he liked the pond just as much as her when they first met.
Oh of course, the pond would
Still, Ren did welcome the prospect of returning there, and he hummed in agreement. "Sure!" He instinctively turned to a little left of where they had been heading, telling Lily that was the way to the pond.
