OOC means OUT OF CHARACTER and OC means ORIGINAL CHARACTER.
I mean, what would the extra O mean if OOC was ORIGINAL character? o.o
APOSTROPHES DON'T HAVE TO GO BEFORE EVERY 'S'! THEY ARE ONLY NEEDED IN CONJUNCTION WITH 'S' TO SHOW A WORD'S POSSESSION OF ANOTHER WORD! No, your sentence doesn't need to possess itself. Demon sentences running around would not be good. No.
And CSS... all of the CSS messing up everything all over is annoying too. Just put it under a cut already, or don't use it. Okay? And it's not just one person. But man. -.- It's a simple thing. Show some courtesy. PLEEEEASE!
And this girl ranting about things that might offend people? What a b****! Everyone should throw pinecones at her. Yeah.
Well, I should go find a shield so I do not get hit with too many pinecones. /rant
Well the apostrophe thingy
*throw's pinecone's* xD
Have I ever told you how much
it drives me crazy when
THANK YOU when people talk
when people talk with horrid-as-firetruck grammar and improper punctuation i CRY MY EYES OUT AND PUNCH HOLES IN WALLS
Yes and yes. Then again,
Then again, when people get on the internet they think they should type like idiots. We all seem to do it every once in awhile. It really does ruin the younger generations' grammar skills.
I find it kind of ironic that
But when I think twice about it I don't know if it's ironic or just plain sad.
This gave me a good laugh. In
My pet peeve is when people mix up their/there your/you're and to/too.
I have a college friend that does this for pete's sake. And he still does it despite how many times our instructor and I 'effing correct his ass.
This. All of this. Thank you.
Also this
oh my god, crying ^
Apoidea, you've taken the
I find it frustrating when people use poor grammar and spelling, especially when they mix up their/they're/there, your/you're, and to/too. Each of the spelling variations give a sentence a different meaning so it's confusing when someone gets it wrong.
As for the CSS messing up the site, I can't put into words how annoyed I'm getting with it. I mean, ?#@%*! How difficult is it to place it under the cut? I'm not intending to sound rude, I'm just annoyed with the fact that one person did it and now it seems that everyone else is following his/her lead. Please, whoever is putting their coding above the cut, move it underneath. We would like to be able to view posts normally again.
No need to worry about pinecones, Apoidea. I won't launch any at you as I'm just as irked as you are with all of the craziness lately.
Thank you everyone. Oh my god
Lady, that pic is the story of my F****** life.

Vala, it is understandable
It just really upsets me when native English speakers don't listen to simple rules of written speech.
It's one thing when a
But when you have a native English speaker who disregards the rules of written speech altogether, it gets very frustrating when you're attempting to speak to them. It makes me want to whack them in the face with a frying pan.
I was not meaning to offend or hurt any feelings with my previous post. I should have been more specific.
Bee: Awwww~ stap it, youuu.
^so much for proper phrasing and spelling
For me as a non-native english speaker it can be frustrating at times to hold a conversation because I'm used to a more complex sturcture of sentence when speaking/writing in my first language which I can't seem to properly transfer into english. This is also why I end up editing the sh** out of my posts. xD
But I totally get where you're coming from. Grammar and spelling are important to me, too.
That's how I felt about
I just resorted to thinking in German when I wanted to speak German instead of translating.
Then again I have found that Polish has many German words as well.
Guys, learn German. You can branch off to... quite a few European languages and be awesome.
Yeah lets just all learn
And I'm telling you this absolutly not for self-beneficial reasons of course.
But nah... english is just fine.
So... because one person does
Is that how TEF works?

I honestly only ever see
1. Don't originally speak English.
and
2. Usually people that are younger than most of us/are still learning stuff like that? I don't see a big problem with it, honestly, but I guess it can get just a little bit annoying.
As for the CSS thing, it doesn't happen all the time, and you can't blame people for not knowing. I've seen blogs politely asking for them to fix their CSS, so maybe instead of getting angered or annoyed by it, you/we should just keep asking for them to place the codes under the cut? Don't get me wrong, I completely know where you're coming from, but I don't think it's that big of a problem~ ohgoddon'thitmeplease
Shutterfly, I see people
I see people over 30 making those spelling and grammar mistakes daily. My own parents even make them, then have me edit all official documents for the house because nobody else seems to be able to do so. It isn't just on here. You're extremely lucky if people around you do not do that. I'd like to trade lives with you.
As for CSS, there are many people on here who know but don't care. I know who many of them are, though I will not name names. I'm not that mean.
Ah, I'm sorry! I didn't know
YES ALL OF THIS ALL OF IT
I feel your pain on those.
They are different. for. a reason. Language is built on structural cues, so it'd be nice if people didn't just trample all over them!

I know the pain of it. I get so annoyed with this small stuff.
