The one he hears all the time is "Yo momma so ugly when she bends down to eat a pinecone the whole Forest goes blind from seeing her RUMP."

Iugulare: "I really admire some of the others who roam the darkness of the Forest. Darkweaver, Illrose, Jorogumo, The Collector, The Lich King, and so on. Even that Smiling Jack guy, though he tends to creep me out the most...listen to that, me being creeped out by another.

Outside the Endless Forest, I will say I admire those silly humans who do research on infectious diseases. I feel like they're trying to understand me, even if I will infect them eventually. It makes me feel a little special, heh..."

XD That's still my favorite video of the four we've taken of her. Maybe soon I'll do some more, especially with our howling sessions. They're pretty hilarious - Mom and I howl like wolves and Brandy will join in, though I think she really hates it when we howl.

Quad: "It's really hard for me to pick a favorite place. I like the entire Forest. But I suppose if I were to choose one place, I'd say the old Ruins. I hung out there all the time as a fawn, and my bed is one of the old pillars that is missing a section. Odd, I know, that such a soft and sensitive stag like me would choose a hard, solid pillar to sleep on, but it's actually quite comfortable. Anyway I really love the Ruins because I often dream about the history of it. Who were the people who lived here before we did? What were the people like who built this old place? What beliefs did they have? What did they stand for? Those are questions I think we will never find the answers to, but it's always nice to dream."

Nekumbra: "The only wish I really have is to be normal. I hate what I have become, I really do. The other deer are always trying to attack me, always trying to kill me, because of what I am. If I could only discover a way to reverse this mutation, to be a regular, normal doe, then I will have my wish. But until then, I have the insatiable appetite for flesh, what more can I say? I am only trying to survive."

Anirapio: (I actually forgot I gave her that ability, it was going to be part of a plot that I never wrote. Ah well, she'll try to answer it in her own way) "You must understand that the Daog are a proud race of warriors. We have no fear and no shame in what we do. Therefore, those souls we capture stay within us until we've decided they have understood the meaning of their suffering. Those who cross our path, those who try to fight us, are eaten. They were foolish enough to challenge us, and therefore must learn their place in the universe, inferior to the Daog.

To answer your question, no, it does not affect me to carry them within. To hear their cries and pain in my mind is like music constantly playing. I have defeated them, I have much to be proud for. They don't, and should suffer until they understand."

You'll be surprised about Anirapio and Nekumbra - they're really not as 'evil' as they seem. Ani is just misguided because she works on instinct - her species has a high metabolism so they're constantly devouring other animals, so she feels no remorse. Nekumbra on the other hand was a regular doe who was mutated into the creature she is now. She genuinely wants to be normal again, and she has the potential to be good, but she's just in the wrong crowd. If she had met Quad or someone else who is a Twin Gods devotee, she would most likely follow a different path.

I actually plan to write 'revelation' stories for both of them soon, which are set in the future but are about them wanting to fulfill their own goals rather than follow Iug anymore.

Epic Bump'd

ROFL It's just an old meme/fun post that we sometimes do. It's really simple, you just think of a question to ask me or any of my characters, and I/they will respond. It's always great to see what kinds of questions people come up with.

Quad: "That would easily be the day I created the Blue Bowl. I stumbled upon a bag of 16 Bean Soup Mix in the Forest and had to eat it. It made me so gassy that I had an explosive fart. Actually, it was an atomic fart, and thus the Blue Bowl was created.

It was radioactive for a while, though. I think the Twin Gods added the blue flowers later to remind everyone not to give me 16 Bean Soup ever again."

Blixt: "The one thing in the whole wide world I'd want right now is my mate back. My rival took her away from me, and then I found out she let wolves kill her. I miss her like crazy, she was one of the few does that really understood me."

Ack!! I typo'd on Blixt's response. It's supposed to say "he let wolves kill her", not she.

Yeah, his story is a little sad, but he's trying to move on.

Zephyr: "It's really easy! First, you eat a pinecone and think of how you want the magazine to come out. Then you create a flatplan of the magazine, consider feature ideas, decide on cover pages (which I am always on the front, teehee), and think of a name. Then you write the stories to be featured in the magazine, including conducting interviews and doing a little research (which I don't need to do any research but someone else may). Then you design layouts for the magazine and get photographs. Next you check the pages and make sure there aren't any silly typos or anything wrong in the design (there was one article that I said the fashion was the secretary bird pelt and my silly editor put a picture of the peacock pelt! No matter, it was fashionable too, hee!) Then you print all the pages after they're all checked and make sure everything's stylin'. Oh, and make sure to pay all these people in pinecones. Deer who do work and don't get pinecones are angry. And then from there you simply distribute the magazine, advertise for it, and profit!

It's so easy a shika deer could do it, teehee!"

Quad: "I have mixed feelings about my brother's death. I'm angry with myself for not being there to protect him. I'm more angry at Iugulare, who was the cause of this threat. I'm very deeply saddened that I did not get to spend more time with him, to learn more from him...

But I suppose I'm a little happy, too, that he finally is getting the rest he deserves. He was an old stag, and I'm sure anyone who has lived on this Earth as long as he has would have been content with death. I only wished his was more peaceful than this.

My hope, at least, is that the rock hounds didn't make him suffer. Wolves should kill quickly and as painlessly as possible, but with Iugulare's paws in all of this, I have my doubts."
