Does anyone here sometimes abandon the whole "character" shindig and just play as a nameless deer, either connected or disconnected?

Maybe it's because my (yet-to-be-fleshed-out) character is still a fawn, but I find that playing as a nameless adult (both online and offline) is sort of refreshing.

......Perhaps a bit lonely, though. Haha.

I know a few people do. I like to run around with a naked deer, sometimes, and nameless are fun, as well. People treat you so differently. x)

I came to this game because I

I came to this game because I liked the idea of the anonymity and of every player being the same. I was surprised to see users individualizing themselves with pelts and names and stories.

I do enjoy what is happening with my own deer's personality as I play him. But sometimes the anonymous and aimless interaction between strangers means more to me, knowing there are no obligations or consequences. So I play nameless from time to time.

I imagine it must get tiring

I imagine it must get tiring having to be in-character all the time, too. I guess some players have OOC sets and whatnot, but your picto would always be recognized.

Unless you had a super-secret-identity-Bruce-Wayne picto that no one knew about. XD

Pfft I know I do. Sometimes when my game runs I like playing around as a nameless deer or fawn. There's such a difference in the forest when you're a fawn or nameless... It's like the smell of some brand new shoes is all over your deer Smiling
