Well, I thought I'd gotten rid of this after re-installing the Forest, but apparently it's back!
My Forest client will only let me zoom all the way in or all the way out, and eventually gets stuck on one or the other.
I've tried adjusting the mouse settings and switching between my touchpad and a wireless mouse - no luck.
Anyone have this problem before/know how to fix it?
I had a Forest freezing
So, only thing I can suggest is you check your internet connection and see if every other applciation works fine. If it came back after reinstallment, check firewall settings and see if it allows every program that TEF needs to run?
Im sorry for not being much help It's just worked for me before. I wish you luck =)
This problem will drive me crazy until I figure it out or someone else does >:| Computer problems are too interesting.
lol, thanks for the reply.
It MIGHT have been a driver issue, as I had to re-install the driver and Dell was not offering touchpad drivers and I may have downloaded one that was not 100% compatible with my laptop model. I've just found a (slightly illegitimate?) copy of what appears to be the correct driver, and it seems to have fixed the problem for now - though the issue had gone away for about a day before it came back, so we'll see in the next few hours, I suppose!
-a few hours later- How is
How is it? Any problems yet? I wonder why no one else has had this problem- what is it about their computers that makes them safe?
It's probably not this simple, but there's something called ClickLock which is just based on how long you hold the buttons. It's typically turned off though.
I feel like a doctor checking in on a patient, lol. I'd say that we're attempting to treat your TEF program's symptoms, but we can't get to the actual cure. ^^
lmao. No, I don't think it's
So far so good. I think it must have been a problem with the touchpad driver I had installed.
