I actually did this a while back... I didn't post it before because I was trying to figure out how to make the antlers smaller. But there just doesn't seem to be a good way to do that... Unless I painted over the whole background or something, I guess.
But, well, this is the closest I could get. I'm quite pleased with how this did turn out, what I was actually able to do.
There were some other things I wanted to edit on the fur pattern, but I couldn't seem to get it to blend in well enough, and this is close enough anyway.
Made the pattern on the mask all swirly, which I like better than the current design I have for him. I like how it turned out. I was thinking of keeping that design.

To make antlers smaller, you
Get one of your deer in the right pose, then make your seer sit and take a screenshot when it's antlers are closest to the ground.
When you've got that, open photoshop with the image of your deer and it's antlers on the ground, then place your other screenshot over it. (Don't crop them first!)
And once that's sorted, use the erasor tool to remove a few tines and make the antlers smaller.
