I guess I believe nothing happens after death, just like before you were born.
When I stop to think about it, it scares me like nothing else. I feel that many religions try to sugar-coat this. Thus one of the reasons why I had adopted druidism as it did not glorify death like christianity. Then I got on reddit and have become more atheistic since then.
I was raised as a Catholic, but recently I've thought about it a lot and realized I don't agree with many things involved with this religion. For now, I'll just say I believe there's a God and I just try to be a good person (Sounds pretty simplistic -w- but oh well, just my way of thinking)
Though I don't exactly identify with any particular religion, I was raised with Pagan beliefs and still retain many habit and beliefs. I also semi-identify as a Green Witch (only semi since I don't actually practice it as much as I should) ; and not all witches are Wiccan, after all c;
But even with my lack of solid religious identity, I am very very spiritual.
agnostic atheist.
however, i believe people will go where they want to go (ie, somebody is christian and wants to go to heaven). i'm just not into the whole one guy created the whole universe thing. i also like the idea of reincarnation.
Born Christian, currently without religion, however I believe in parts of Spirituality and agree with some of the Hinduism/Buddhism. Spiritual but not religious? Idkk.
Born christian, not really taken to church, dragged to church in high school, had doubts, agnosticism, druidism, now atheistic-druid. o.O I guess I'm more spiritual than religious, but idk.
I am non denominational. Even the Bible states heaven has no Religion . Religion is man made and easily corrupted. I follow God and God alone. God is my religion ;3
(I'd also like to make a point that many Christians who are the "in your face your going to hell you sinner" are not following what God wants us to do and are thus not Christian")
^that is my reason I chose non denominational. I love and forgive all. I do not judge for that is for God only. I may disagree with some things but will love all regardless.

You do not have a soul. You ARE a soul. You have a body.

I find comfort from the fear of death in nature and how cyclical and balanced the natural world is. The idea of an afterlife of any kind tortured me. Being free to cease existence seems the most relieving and elegant conclusion.
I believe that existence is chaos, and humans by nature create meaning in the meaningless patterns, and this is what makes us unique life forms. Seven million humans will create seven million gods, even if only to destroy or push them away. The status of each of those gods is in constant flux with every moment each person lives, grows, and changes.
Sorry if that's too self-indulgent of an answer.

I don't believe in a god, though I suppose I could be agnostic. I'm not religious.
My mind tells me there is no god and therefor by choice choose not to let myself indulge in such things, and yet there certainly could be something, as I don't know everything, and certainly not everything beyond death.
Can't say I'm very fond of the idea of reincarnation. I sort of like the idea that I will only live once and then come death cease to exist entirely. Ultimate peace and satisfaction even if such a thing can not be processed in death. We all go when it is our time and that is that. Not really fearful of it.
I personally hope I just cease to exist altogether, can't say I want to live for eternity in some other way, or continuously be recycled in some way.
As of now just kind of view life as it is just me, and people are just other people, and there is nothing really beyond that until proven otherwise? Not even sure I would be open to accept it if proof was right before my eyes. Kind of very stubborn in my views and happy this way.
Christian... Though I believe in big bang rather than Adam and Eva. That goes for most of the supernatural stories from the bible, though I have never questioned the idea of heaven... So I guess I believe in that. But since my grandpa died I've been wondering a lot about how I other people will appear to me in heaven when I die; Would my grandpa look like an old man like he did before he died? Heaven sounds more and more like a nursing home to me the more I think about it.
Christian, but like Tulloh, I believe the Earth we know was created in a process that took millions of years, instead of six days. But I was told that a million years to us was a day to God... I also believe that the dinosaurs were real, that evolution is real (the reason apes are still around is because we evolved from a certain type of ape), and I also don't mind if two gays marry/have sex. But I still believe in heaven and hell, and I'm always afraid that I'll go to hell just because I believe in those things.
Bluedeer ^ That`s bascially what I believe, expect for I`m Catholic. I also do believe that there is some type of higher power out there. I also do think there is some type of occurence after death, though I have no idea what it is XD But that`s okay. I know I`ll get all my answers in time
Since so many people worship so many Gods, I used to wonder sometimes if they were all real, and when people died, they went to the God that they believed. Shrug. I know that might seem kinda silly sounding... sorry
Sometimes I like to believe there is something after death, just for reassurance and to make myself less fearful of it. It doesn't mean I believe that there is anything/anyone else though.
( reaaally love reading all of these insightful views from everyone! )
i would consider myself agnostic. i'm sort of just figuring out things for myself, i wouldn't call myself real spiritual or anything but i do believe there is a higher 'power' so to speak. i believe it's in everything, us, animals, nature etc. when surrounded by nature is when i feel the most strongly connected to this force.
i also like to think that reincarnation can happen, i don't really like the thought of ceasing existence especially if i haven't been able to do all the things i want, all the places i want to see. and i just honestly can't comprehend a soul disappearing and nothing being there at the end, haha. it doesn't feel right to me.
i really respect Buddhism too, and the more i read about it, the more i feel connected to it as well.
Agnostic more than anything. I'm not religious.
The Big Bang seems more realistic to me than Adam and Eve but I do think there could be a "higher power". I'm not gonna say that's for sure though.
I kinda believe there's some sort of afterlife or life after death I suppose. I want there to be since the idea of just not existing seems a bit weird to me. I don't like the idea of reincarnation though.
At first I was nervous to post here but you know what. I love that we all have such wildly different religious(or non religious) views and yet are able to still coexist so peacefully. It is what I love about TEF. If only the world was like our small community. I hope TEF continues to go on and on for a very long time. <3
Love you all

I was raised an Orthodox Christian. I was not force-fed my religion, so I don't hate it. I don't believe in such things as Noah's Arc or Adam and Eve. I do feel the big bang and evolution did bring us where we are. I believe there is a God who "planned" the creation of the world, I guess and he's just letting the earth run it's course. Though I never honestly read through the Bible, I do believe things there did occur, I suppose.
I guess I'm basically a christian, but I don't believe everything I'm told.
Yes, some people don't seem to understand but I know that even though we have never seen eachother in real life, nor never hear eachother's voice, we can still be a family.
The one thing I don't get about going to heaven or hell- the bible says it doesn't matter who you are or what you've done, as long as you believe in God you will go to heaven. For example, a guy can be so friendly, so nice, so helpful for others and is loving and caring towards everyone and does so many good things, but because he doesn't believe in God, he will spend eternity burning in hell. However, a guy who rapes and kills 40 women will go to heaven because he believes in God. I just don't get that...
What I get from it is this. In the Bible God states "Go and sin no more"
(also we will be judged for our actions regardless) So as you said about the rapist, if they asked for forgiveness then "went and sinned no more" then they would go to heaven. The other friendly guy it would depend really on the part of their life that most don't see. How do they think? Do they look at other women when they are married? Basically do they sin (break commandments such as lying, stealing, taking Gods name in vain etc)
Yes it is confusing and even I don't have all the answers. Trust me I have thought your exact question over for years. For most of my life growing up I believed you just had to be nice. The Bible says to not judge so I never tell anyone they are wrong even if I disagree. And God loved everyone so for me I feel that is how we should live, showing others God's love. Show him how he really is and not how many "Christians or other over the top religions" make him out to be. When I say over the top I mean those who just go way beyond what their teachings say ^_^ (Like westburo chuch..*shivers*)
I hope this made sense...and I hope it didn't seem like I am attacking...it was not my intention ^_^
just stating my view on your topic.

I'm not religious. The only
The only part of any religion that I allow into my life is the belief in Karma.
I'm interested in all religions, find them each to tell very good stories, but I see them as only that. Stories.
I am an agnostic.
