Was born within the Endless Forest, as the youngest biological daughter of Jax and Aleumdaun Misang. The first few months of her life was filled with joy and play while in the safety of family. But one day the young fawn ventured into the Birch forest alone, and accidentally came across one of the many portals hidden among the grass and trees. She stumbled through it and vanished, leaving no trace behind.
The world she entered had a different kind of magic than the Forest, and the fawn had been turned into a young girl in this new realm. Scared and disoriented she was unable to find her way back home to the Forest, and ended up wandering around aimlessly, not knowing where to go. That was when she was found by an older lady who - being unable to take care of the child herself - brought the girl to an orphanage in the nearby town. The lady who owned the orphanage named her Wen, as Averell didn't understand how to speak and was unable to tell them her real name. Time worked different in this world than in the Forest; days and weeks in the Forest would be equal to years in this other world, and so Averell grew up in the orphanage, learning how to speak and behave like a human as she did so. Eventually her memory of the Forest and her parents grew distant, more like a strange dream she kept remembering instead of a reality.
Averell - now referring to herself as Wen - grew up to be a quiet young woman, selfless and always ready to help others should they need it. She got a job and moved out of the orphanage, doing everything the society required of her but still never felt quite at home; like she always knew she was meant to be somwhere else. One evening when she was on her way home from work, she became the victim of a robbery. She was beaten quite badly by the robbers as they tried to take what little money she had, but soon a bypasser saw what was happening and came to her rescue. The stranger chased the robbers away with a few well-placed blows, and she could tell he was an experienced fighter. Having no wish to end up in a similar situation, she asked him to teach her how to defend herself. The stranger refused at first, but eventually gave in.
This opened a door to a whole new world for Averell, as the stranger turned out to be not just anybody, but a hunter of dark creatures who were lurking in the shadows. Vampires, ghouls and ghosts - creatures Averell didn't even know existed. The once shy and quiet woman became self-assured and determined as she was taught how to defend herself and at the same time battle the monsters of the dark. And finally, she and other young hunters was let out on their first hunt alone. It was supposed to be an easy task; their target was three vampires who had been making a nest in an old abandoned barn. The place had been monitored for weeks and the hunters was sure they knew what was waiting for them. But they weren't. There was more than three vampires hiding in the barn, and what should have been an easy hunt became a battle for life. In the end they had to flee, and that was when Averell got lost from the group. And then, just as she had exited the forest many years ago, she accidentally stumbled through the same portal that took her back to her true home.
Here, she was reunited with her true family, but after some days of joy found it all quite overwhelming, so slipped back into the human world. Besides, wanted to know how the other hunters were after the vampire attack. Saddened to find out some had died, but was truly glad to see the rest. Spent some time in the human world before she once again found the courage to enter the forest, this time has in mind to take it easy to avoid getting overwhelmed again. Eventually managed to find a balance between the forest and the human world, the forest now being her true home but the human world a place she would visit often, as not to lose touch with the friends she had there. Not as into demon hunting as she once was, but will still join on hunting trips every now and then.
Loyal O polite O friendly O cautious O feral O conflicted O motherly O flirtatious O shameless O protective
Averell is loyal towards those she considers friends and family, and will almost always go out of her way to support them if needed be. She is polite towards strangers, and kind, unless given a reason not to be. After having lived in a world of monsters she have a tendency to be cautious towards some individuals, but this will usually pass once she get to know them. Averell is also a feral being, this is usually well hidden but sometimes she act on pure instinct instead of thinking things through. And for one who has been a hunter of 'dark things' it is not easy to know she is a demonic being herself, Averell is sometimes conflicted because of this but doesn't look down on herself or her family because of it. She has a motherly nature, both from her own mother and from having helped taking care of the younger children while she still lived in the orphanage in the human world. Averell is curious of nature and will often investigate if something - or someone - have caught her interest. And after having been trained as a hunter she has become tough; one who might choose fight instead of flight when in danger.

( I apologize for such late answer, the community site is really acting up for me at the moment. ;; )
He watched her thoughtfully.

Ansel cocked his head to the
Lost.
He flicked an ear nervously and he briefly eyed the trees surrounding them. 'Should have been here for a long time', was it? Feeling uncomfortable, the boy lowered his eyes. "I... got lost too," he admitted in a quiet voice to the dirt next to her. "How did you get lost....?" He glanced at her with a careful look. For a second he was worried how she would respond, but then he caught a mild expression on the other.
He returned the faint smile and let the question drop as he moved on to her explanation. "I guess that's true. Just for a bit then." He nodded to himself in a serious tone and sprawled himself over the forest floor. He had been walking all day, but now he sat still he felt it more clearly. With a sigh he rested his head on the ground. At first he did not understand why the doe had decided to sit in a sunny spot in the middle of nowhere, but it was quite comfy and warm. The sound of the waterfall was a bit distracting, though.
She spoke again, so he raised his head, few strands of grass stuck on his cheek.
'Averell'. He mouthed her name curiously but flattened his ears as he discovered his inability to pronounce it correctly ("Avfu-ell").
Averell tilted her head at

This time he just listened to her patiently. He had no answer to her questions, so he simply gave her an apologetic smile. He was still uncertain of his current whereabouts and how he got 'here'. He had a few ideas, but they mattered very little to him; at least for now, he was satisfied with just understanding why he was here. And he did.
He turned his attention back to Averell as she elaborated her explanation for her disappearance. Curiousity slowly began to spread across his face... then replaced by confusement.
Just a moment, only closing your eyes briefly, and one would find themself in a different place?
Where had she gone in order to disappear? How odd, that was certainly different from what he had experienced-
His expression twitched briefly. He closed off the thoughts, instinctively knowing this would be a mistake to dig into.
"Avf...a.. Lady. Thank you for telling me - I will take care when I walk around. But, uh..." Ansel raised a doubtful brow, giving her a careful look. He filled his cheeks with air only to release it with a small pop, quietly reconsidering - should he ask or would it be rude? In the end, desire won. So, with genuine concern he asked: "What happened to your face?"
((ooh my god I take forever to type a reply I'm happy with. My sincere apologies TT_TT))
It didn't really seem like

Ansel tilted his head.
"Uh." The boy opened his mouth only to close it again. It took him a moment to realise that he should have denied that anything was wrong. "N-no." He hurriedly replied, trying to give her a convincing look. Maybe it had been a bad idea afterall. "I just... thought it seemed longer than mine. A bit, just a bit. And-" He shot a desperate glance to the side as if the 'right words' would be dangling somewhere in the background. "I-I was just wondering if... you had always been like that? No, I mean, were you, um, born like this? Nono, it's.. " He began to panic. "I don't think you're weird, I j- I'm sorry." At this point Ansel was no more than a small bundle of blue fur looking very aware that he might be in trouble.
((;_;' Not half as slow, but thank you. Here, have an awkward brat in return for your patience.))
Mauv; Thank you!

It wasn't really that much of a deal if Ansel was able to pronounce her name correctly or not, but Ave remained silent and let him try, giving smiles and encouraging nods on the way. "Very good!" She finally said, after he had managed to say her name almost perfectly. Her eyes travelled for a brief moment, taking in their surroundings but the forest seemed quiet right now. And to be honest she was just glad, after two quite... eventful days. Averell turned her attention back towards Ansel, at first still amused by how he responded to her question, but after a while she only felt sorry for the poor boy, as it seemed he was really afraid he had offended her. She shook her head slightly, couldn't help but laugh a bit again. "Don't be sorry, I didn't believe you thought that either. And yes, I was born with this face." She smiled down at the young boy, chuckling again. "But you know, I can actually change my face to look more like yours. You know, with the magic that can be found here in the forest." Was added shortly after. Not that she 'wore' her human face that often though, at least she hadn't so far.
( Fff, he's so sweet, poor thing, haha. :'b )
An ear flicked by the sound
Well, she had not showed him hostility before, but this seemed to prove her patience. So he gave her a shy smile. "I think you look pretty." He murmured.
With newfound interest he stared, ears perking as she happened to utter the word "magic". "Really?" He replied in pure awe. "That's so cool!" Could he get it too? Maybe he could learn to fly or spit lava or something.
((I think I'll go sleep. |'D She's so sweet, pfft. And damn pretty >> Feel free to end this, he's just going to be really annoying about magic now she brought it up. 8( ))
Luckily it seemed he relaxed
( Haha, thank you, makes me happy to hear :') and I don't mind that, rofl. Ave just think it's nice to have a chat with him. c: But have a good night! n_n )
Ansel's gaping widened with

He almost sighed in relief -
((I won't be able to respond to her move before tomorrow afternoon... ish. c': Thank you for going along with this thus so far!))
Ave chuckled. "You will have

He stared. He couldn't help it. "Wow," he uttered hazily, fascination radiating from every inch of his body. Averell shook her new hairdo (what was it, some kind of hat? Deer didn't grow feathers as far as he knew), and he followed the waving feathers with his eyes. "Huh...?" He blinked, only paying half attention before he was blinded by the bright light. He gradually felt something weighing down slightly on his head as a pair of nubs materalised, but he couldn't tell - he was seeing white all around him as a result of closing his eyes a little too late. "Uh? Did it work? What's.." He blinked, slowly being able to tell the landscape apart. He frowned, staring curiously at the doe. "What happened?"
The light faded once again,
( I have to go to bed soon so this will probably be the last reply from me for tonight ;; )

He nodded obediently, eating
The blue fawn bolted toward the river, barely stopping in time as he glided down the edge, his front legs stretched out to prevent a head-on dive into the water. Half-standing, he stared at the reflection, turning his head a bit to get a better view. He inhaled deep and let the air out upwards at his bangs with frustration as they blocked his vision. A few attempts later, he finally noticed the bone-white nubs among the blue hair. "Aveh-rell! Look, look! I've got- I've" he barked excitedly, trying to remember the word she had used, "antlers!" He watched them with glee, but suddenly they shrunk, and kept shrinking until he could no longer see them. "... huh?" He turned his head yet again, checking one last time. He crawled back up, hurrying back to the doe. "Lady..." He gave her a miserable look.
((I fell asleep too so >_> cough))
