Picked up on a now-familiar scent while going on a sprint out of sheer boredom. Followed it and found Lats'vel alone (or so he thought; didn't see a sleeping Kaeltiir at first). Took this as an opportunity to personally thank the boar for his help the other day, and to apologize for being an ass. His apology took the form of a clumsy bow because let's face it, he's awkward enough as he is, but the boar seemed to get it and was pretty welcoming. Watched in confusion as Lats'vel began to stomp the ground, unsure of what was going on. Was it a threat, a warning or something else? Stared uncertainly like an idiot, finally getting it when the frustrated boar plopped down and back up. Ohhh...right, yeah, knew that all along. Finally settled down, embarrassed but at least Lats' was satisfied. Felt a little annoyed with himself for taking orders, but A) Lats'vel is freaking huge and scary, and B) he owed the boar that much anyway for looking out for him. Feels a twinge of, gasp, respect developing for Big Bacon, though yeah he would totally never admit that. Pffright.
Almost instantly felt bored just sitting. Scoped out Anonymous off in the distance and went over to check him out. Erratically sniffed and rubbed experimentally to see how macho and menacing he could make himself out to be (and mayyybe trying to show off for Lats' as well but lolyeahsure dream on kid), but Anon only seemed confused. Meh, oh well. Decided the stag was interesting and tried to get him to romp/spar. Anon couldn't quite seem to get the hang of it and soon wandered off. Allllrighty then. Huffed and plopped back down near Lats' again. Itching to spar with a tree, but wondering if that would annoy the boar/make him wonder if he was trying to bust his head open again.
Spazzed a bit when a few deer came crashing by; twitchy weirdo mode initiated. Smacked a tree and refocused attention on Anon, who had wandered back. Messed with him a little more, then started a staring contest. Getting really creeped out by that mask. Basically everything resulted in the two trying to out-weird each other. Stared warily at Rajih when he appeared, contemplated, then went in for a couple of sniffs. Satisfied when the Thing backed up. Returned to his former position by Lats' after Anon left again and when he got fed up by random deer shenanigans. Later sneezed/spat at by Rajih, too stunned to do anything except watch the Thing leave.
Sat stewing for a bit, not wanting to let that go. Hell no. Finally got up and followed Rajih's scent back to the Old Oak. Hesitated when he saw that the Thing was sleeping near his equal. He had no intention of fighting, but seeing as how the Things seemed close to Lats', he might as well try to make peace. Rajih stiffly got up and mock-charged, but the buck stood his ground. Made a couple of friendly yet wary gestures and got a sniff in. The Thing seemed to loosen up at this, and to Hannibal's surprise he invited him to sit. Did so, stiffening when Rajih nuzzled him but took this as a good thing. Didn't expect everything to be forgiven so easily, but hey, works for him. Was tense for a bit, but soon relaxed when Rajih showed no signs of changing his mind. Decided that he really needed to stop being so paranoid all the time (good luck with that, bub).

Thank you for the track, hon! n_n ♥ I'm sorry that Hannibal was unresponsive; I'm leaving him passed out for a little bit, but it's nice that Harry kept him company nevertheless. They should definitely get acquainted when Hanni's head is cleared up...literally. :9
I don't mind at all, go right ahead! n_n I am about to make dinner, so I will respond later. I'll be much more active around then as well. c:
All I used was a basic table CSS code, and then it was just a bunch of little tweaks! n_n If you'd like, I could email you the bare-bones code that I work with. Tables can be tricky, but it's a breeze once you get the hang of it. c:
[Awe, haha. Zash can be that way too. Also, sorry I can't code at the moment.]
"im not sure, to be perfectly honest with you." He answered after several heartbeats of thought. "My best friend here... She and I met once back when we were alive. We both ended up here, though she died years than I did, she was born here only a month or so before I showed up. Yet my best friend who died a few minutes before I did, he went somewhere else. I'd like to think that they would, though. It would be bittersweet to see ones that I left behind..." He trailed off, sighing, "I think the Twins look for something in you or something in your soul to let you in here. I don't think it's random. At least, not completely random. Perhaps with some ounce of luck, they would show up here."
Haha, I sent you an e-mail Poppy! ♥ Don't be afraid to ask me questions if you're confused; I like helping, and I end up learning more in the process too! c:
(No worries at all, Waning-Sun! n_n)
The buck's ears flicked forward, and a thoughtful look crossed his youthful face. The Twin Gods...he had never thought of that. Of course, being gods, they are the judges of souls. That would make perfect sense. But what was so special about him and Zash that the gods decided to keep them here? What did that mean for everyone else, and for those who weren't chosen at all? Ugh, his head... Ignored the dull throb behind his eye, and regarded Zash wonderingly. "But they could be able to come here again, right? I mean...I'm from another place, but I passed through to get here. Unless your soul is also judged when you pass through the portals...man, this is crazy stuff." Huffed softly and swiped at a firefly that had decided to flit in his ear. "It makes me consider going back through the portal to bring someone back here...but if our theory is right, then who knows what will happen to them if they aren't deemed worthy for this place? It's not worth the risk, but man do I want to give it a try," he continued softly, digging his front hooves gingerly into the soft earth.
You're very welcome dear! ♥ Hmm...I am not quite sure if you can add a background to the actual table, but I might be wrong. What I have been doing is I've added boxes inside each table, so I end up with div tags. Here's one of the boxes that I use in a table:
Sans asteriks of course. If you'd like, you can copy and paste the same code into where it says 'first box' in the original code that I e-mail you. Don't forget to close the tags: <*div><*/div> c: Hope that makes sense, sob ;n;
Now for hovering! Here is the basic hovering code:
<*div><*a class="info">TEXT TO HOVER OVER<*span> textextextext <*/a><*/div>
In order for it to work, you must also copy and paste the following code into your CSS. You can put it anywhere in the coding; I usually put it at the very bottom of everything so I can find it easier:
"I do. Proble-," The doe was cut short as a large wave crashed into her, causing her to lose balance and fall completely into the pond. Once pulling herself out, she glared at him playfully, pelt drenched and sticking to her as water practically poured from each strand of her long silver hair. "That wasn't very smart of you," Ariana muttered, gaining an 'evil' glint to her eyes as she advanced towards him. Once close enough, she shoved at him with her front legs and chest-- almost a headbutt, not harshly of course. This was enough to knock him backwards into the pond though, leaving her pulling back with a wide smile.
You're very welcome, and feel free to do so! Can't wait to see your purdy CSS! n_n ♥
The buck was not used to playing with females, and he often underestimated his strength. Playtime equaled roughhousing time, but it wasn't until he saw Ariana drag herself out of the pond that he realized it may not be called for at all. He also failed to see that she was kidding around when she gave him the 'evil eye'. "Oh, hey...sorry, are you oka-" He was cut short when she suddenly charged into him and knocked him back into the water. "Augh, hey!" he shouted with a laugh, pedaling his legs desperately in the air before quickly righting himself up again. "Ah c'mon, that was a cheap shot and you know it!" Hannibal laughed as he shook his thick fur free of loose water droplets, further drenching her in the process.
SOB just one more question.... The tables seem to centered, but the tables you gave me using the first email coding don`t seem to be. Is there any way to fix that? ;n; shouldn`t have deleted the blog now I have to try again bleh
Also, if you use a picture from the internet, does it need to be credited? I probably would anyway, but just to be safe C8
"Think of it as payback," Ariana laughed, flinching as he shook water onto her fur that had finally started to dry. Springing towards him, she dug her hooves into the ground to stop right in front of him, shaking herself out the way he had done before running off a bit. The doe stuck her tongue out before running off even further, disappearing into the forest.
@ Poppy ~ To center everything, put the <*center> tag at the very beginning of the CSS, and <*/center> at the very end of your CSS. Everything between those two tags will be centered. Hopefully I understood your question correctly askjf ;n;
As for the image, definitely credit it if it is artwork. If it's a photo, it wouldn't hurt to credit the photographer (or link to their website) as well. ♥
Zash shrugged, watching him, "Not sure. Maybe they do get judged, seems easier that they don't though, especially if they're coming and going constantly. It makes more sense if the soul's only being judged when you're in a limbo state. Like...being dead. Like that's your test. 'How badly do you deserve a second chance?' type of thing...maybe." He glanced away, "I don't know much of anything about this stuff, just ponder and make assumptions based on what little I do know."
Bunnycorn Got startled again when the doe leaped right into his face, and the next thing he knew he was covered in more water. Growled and shook out his fur a little too aggressively, leaving him feeling dizzy. No way would a girl best him in anything! Teetered slightly on his hooves and blinked a few times to clear up his head, taking notice of the doe bounding into the forest. His face screwed up a little as he wondered whether she wanted him to follow or not. He was never very good with 'reading' females. Huffed, rolled his shoulders and then took off after her, water droplets flying everywhere as he galloped along.
Waning-Sun Hannibal's eyes widened slightly as the grey threw out his own theory of soul judgment. What he said made a lot of sense, so much so that it had to be true. Of course only the souls of the dead would be judged; the ones who were 'stuck' needed to be placed somewhere eventually. It just couldn't always be at this forest. This revelation should have brought Hannibal some relief, but his early past before this forest was still unknown to him; he could have died in another life and been brought to his home through judgment. What if he truly had died? The odds were stacking against him at this point, and such a situation was looking more and more likely despite how much he tried to convince himself otherwise.
Let out a shuddering sigh and looked up at Zash again, smiling weakly over the multitude of emotions that clouded his face. He was always terrible at facades. "I've been asking too many questions, I think. I don't want your head to explode from thinking about it too much," he said with a chuckle, hooves wringing nervously in the dirt. "We don't have to talk about it anymore if you don't want to."
Zash rolled his shoulders, "I don't mind talking about it. I think about it sometimes, but I never really talk to anyone about it. It's nice tossing out theories now and again. It's a good judge on how far fetched your concepts are..." he trailed off, reconsidering, "Then again, everything about this place doesn't really make sense." he lapsed into silence, not bothering to address his last words. He didn't care either way if they talked about that type of thing. It just was. It was like death or something similar. It was just something that happened.
Smiled with some relief at the grey's answer. It's good to be reminded that you're not being a burden. The smile waned slightly as Zash went on, and he nodded slowly. "Yeah...at this rate, anything's possible in this place. It's crazy," the buck muttered. "It's frustrating, though. This place has an it-is-what-it-is vibe, but man, it's so frustrating. There are so many questions left unanswered. It..." Paused, shifting his gaze as his temple began to pinch with mild pain. Another headache coming on. "It drives me nuts. Like...literally, I think." Sighed and closed his ears, the pinch spreading slightly. Not painful, but enough for him to be aware that it was there. Ugh, great.
Zash nodded, feeling a half smile flicker on his face. He opened his mouth to mention that he had been the same when he had just come there, but the smile and train of thought waned when he noted the pained look that crossed Hannibal's face.
"Headache?" he questioned after a moment. He wasn't sure what made him consider that, other than Hannibal mentioning he was being driven nuts by the thought. Insanity led to headaches, or in Zash's case a terrible migraine.
Blinked at the question, a little confused by it for some reason. Blinked again with realization, his mouth going a little slack. "Oh, uh...yeah. It's no big deal, I get them all the time," he explained a little too quickly, like he was guilty of something. Which he was not; he was just awkward when caught off guard. "Well...I only started getting them a lot when I came here. It's weird...like I'm adjusting to the atmosphere." Oh yeah, and also from headbutting trees too hard. That almost casually slipped out, but man, he didn't want to think of how Zash would react to that. Hannibal would never deny that he was weird, but if Zash resented him for it then he would feel terrible. Decided to store that fun fact away.
"Huh..." he thought for a second, "Maybe you're trying too hard to understand things." he shrugged, as if he didn't really know himself. "I get them too. Migraines more often than headaches. I get them randomly, or under extreme emotional or mental stress...they're not fun to work with..."
Trying too hard to understand things... That seemed about right. Hannibal grinned at this, ears swiveling forward as Zash went on. "Man...migraines. Yeah. More rare for me, but when they come on they're really nasty. I always get sick from them." His eyes shifted for a moment, checking to see if anyone was nearby, and then leaned in conspiratorially before muttering, "You know what helps me when that happens?" Paused for effect, and then pointedly nodded to the tree next to them. A cluster of mushrooms were growing out of the bark. Turned back to Zash and grinned sheepishly, but it faltered after a moment and he quickly added, "Not all the time. Just...you know. When I can't stand it."
Zash grinned sheepishly, "I use alcohol when I can't stand it...." the smile faded, "granted I only drink enough to take the pain away." he sighed and gave the mushrooms a long look, before shrugging, "Haven't tried them yet. I've heard some of them can make you see things...I don't know how I'd like that. I have plenty of things I'd rather not see again..."
Hannibal was not sure what alcohol was, but he assumed it granted similar effects as the mushrooms did. He caught a glimmer a shame in the grey's face, however, and the buck's smile dropped. Maybe consuming alcohol was nothing to boast about, and as curious as Hannibal was he did not press further. "You definitely see things, yeah. It's always happened to me anyway, no matter how many of them I eat. Sometimes it's mild, like I hear something that isn't there, but other times I see weird stuff." Chuckled lightly at this, recalling the times he'd seen deer with two heads and squirrels trapped inside giant bubbles. "Something scared me once; I think I ate a bad one. I guess it happens, but...I dunno, that elated feeling makes it all worth it. Everything just feels so different, new and amazing," he went on quietly. He smiled at this, though inside he was struggling to push away that memory of seeing shadows of his demons. Wispy smoke, burning eyes, cruel voices... Shuddered violently, but to anyone else it looked like he felt a chill wind.
Zash nodded, "Aside from seeing weird things...feeling happy seems nice..." he stated quietly, but shrugged, "I don't know. I'd rather just find a way to numb the pain for good. Or not have migraines at all. I didn't get them at all before I came here."
Nodded to both statements, and then chuckled dryly. "It's one of the few times when I really feel happy. Hell, even some of the weird stuff I see makes me happy." Sighed softly, his ears sliding back a little. "No pain would be nice. It's weird how it's the same for you...how you didn't get them until now. I wonder what it really means," he pondered softly, resting his chin over his crossed hooves. The pinch had turned into a dull throb that had shifted behind his left eye. Just a tension headache; nothing he couldn't handle. It was just always comforting to know he wasn't about to get a full-blown migraine, especially in Zash's company.
(I am going to be turn in now. Thank you for Zash's company tonight, Hannibal was very happy to see him! ♥ n_n)
[We were happy to keep him company! Zash was happy to see him too!]
"I always just thought it was a side effect of something not being...normal in my head." he answered quietly, his tone almost innocent. He wasn't looking at Hannibal, his eye tracing the ground, "I mean, I got headaches before, but they never graduated to a migraine until after I passed on. After the Twins put me back together again...I'm not sure what yours is. Some are more prone to headaches and migraines than others though."
(Hehe, when Zash is around it's pretty much the only time Hannibal forces himself to sit still! :9)
Looked at Zash for a long while at this, and then chuckled softly and shook his head. "Nah, there's nothing wrong with your head. Now my head...that's a different story," the freckled buck said with a half-grin. He meant to be reassuring, but it may have just come off as awkward. Still, he rolled his shoulders and continued to look at the grey even despite the other male's focus was elsewhere. "Well...if most of us get them, then I guess that just means it's normal." Trailed off for a moment, hesitating to speak his mind next, but went for it anyway. "Maybe the headaches is just our mind's way of trying to get used to being...you know, dead. Or resurrected, or whatever. I mean, I guess it would make some sense if it happened to almost everyone..."
Zash gave a slow nod, his head turning as so his eye could flick to Hannibal's face. "I'm not sure if others get them often or not. But if they did...that theory could very well be true." It was an interesting idea, that it was just the mind's way of coping. If it was, he almost wished it would just accept it and move on. Less pain on his part. Especially when on those days he had nothing to do other than sit around and pine for everything and everyone he lost. Well...when thought of that way....it could very well be true. Maybe his mind just associated his past losses and his more recent ones as the same thing. They all were technically the past as it was. So many riddles, so many theories and unanswered questions. Why haven't they driven him mad yet?
He issued a quiet sigh and slowly twisted himself around to where he was lying on his good side. He felt safe enough to do that in Hannibal's company, knowing that he would alarm him if anything bad was sneaking up on them. Judging by his earlier shiver, he didn't like bad things either. He had his fair share of demons. Which could mean he could be a bit more sensitive to bad things when they came around-like how Zash would have been if he wasn't handicapped. Granted he was still that way, he just misinterpreted danger more often than not. He thought back to a couple of recent trips to the human world, where he had nearly had a panic attack and couldn't stay around at the time. Was he getting worse? The idle thought wove its way through his conscious, making him wonder as he stayed where he was, his back to Hannibal, in a comfortable silence. He didn't feel the need to break it, he was simply content enough to remain there in Hannibal's company.
Ariana had taken a quick left once realizing that he had bolted after her, not expecting him to reach her so fast. Her frame seemed to be nothing but a whisp of blue as she flashed from tree to tree, a hint of silver mixed in. She'd grow tired soon, and would skid to a stop at a large tree that towered over her, turning on her heels only to come face-to-face with the buck."I didn't think you'd catch me so quickly," She breathed out, stumbling slightly on her hooves from the run.
Waning-Sun The buck regarded him with a nod, silent as he let everything sink in at once. He was too weary to push everything away all the time; all of his thoughts, worries and what-ifs eventually came crashing down on his head like a brittle ceiling. Closed his eyes for a long moment, trying to concentrate on the typical forest sounds all around them. Mooing, creaking, clacking, splashing...everything was constant background noise, which was an odd comfort in itself. Like waves breaking on the shore of a beach, or rain gently pattering as you drifted off to sleep. Glanced down at the grey when he shifted, his back now facing the freckled buck. Remained silent for a while and then gentle spoke up, "If you wanna crash, I'll keep a lookout for you. I'm not gonna sleep anytime soon." Smiled a little even though the grey couldn't see it, then shifted his weight once more until he was comfortable, front legs tucked under his chest and back legs splayed off to his side. Let a long sigh escape his chest, ears flicking lazily to each invasive sound that echoed their way.
Bunnycorn She was quick, but like many others she had underestimated how streamlined he was. With ease he galloped after her, long legs slashing through the dry grasses and weeds, neck stretched out like an arrow. He skidded to a stop as she did, not tired at all unlike the doe. Chuckled and flipped his tail, prancing lightly on his heels in a wide circle around her. "You gotta do better than that to best me," he crowed with a wink, then halted when she began to stumble. "Oh, hey...are you alright?"
"Why would I want to..." Zash trailed off, finding himself speaking before he even had an opportunity to try to figure out what he said. Except he didn't know what he said. "...crash?" he turned himself enough to send Hannibal a puzzled look, his head tilted up to catch him from where he had his chin on the ground. "Is that like 'chilling'?"
Hannibal stared blankly at the other male for a long moment as he too tried to figure out what Zash was puzzled about. When he understand, he chuckled and shook his head slightly. "Nah, not really. 'Crash' just means to go to sleep. Now that I think about it, it really doesn't make any sense." Chuckled again, and then grinned sheepishly, a little bit of color returning to his cheeks. "Eh, sorry for confusing you. It just comes out, yanno?"
"Oh..." he trailed off, before shrugging off his apology to go on quietly, "It's okay...I like words. Books and such too. I like to learn new things. And...no, I'm not so much going to sleep as I am...'chilling'." he sat up a bit, trying to look like he wasn't completely ignoring him or pushing him away, "Wasn't trying to shut you out, just find a comfy spot to rest is all."
"I see.. yeah, I'm fine. I haven't run like that in a while is all." The doe replied quietly, showing off a smile as she turned to look at him. The small wink caused her heart to flutter, not in the way that you'd think. She just hadn't ever gotten a gesture like that, and it made her feel warm inside. Prancing forth, she turned quickly, flipping her hair in the process as she posed with one leg lifted."I think it'd be alright for me to call you a friend now.. right?"
Waning-Sun Now is was Hannibal's turn to be quizzical. Books? He was not sure what those were, but they did sound familiar. Tilted his head subconsciously, but not wanting to bother Zash for an explanation. If anything he'd probably come off looking like an idiot, but now the possible connection began to gnaw at him. Maybe he knew what books were in another life...man that always sounded so crazy to think about. Snapped out of his thoughts and grinned a little as the grey went on. "Naw, you're fine. I didn't think you were shutting me out. I just, uh...can't take a hint sometimes, so I wanted to double-check." Chuckled sheepishly, then shifted again and stretched out his neck over the grass, his chin propped up on his forelegs as he faced Zash.
Bunnycorn The buck nodded stiffly at this, though not quite convinced. She seemed okay though, putting weight on her heels without visible discomfort. Man, where did all of this concern come from all of a sudden? He was getting soft again, bah. Blinked when she suddenly turned and gracefully flipped her hair, watching it shimmer and glint in the shafts of light that managed to squeeze through the thick canopy overhead. Was taken aback for a moment, and then chuckled. "Totally alright with me. You're a pretty cool chick, I'll admit," he said with a warm grin, and then hopped in place to mimic her pose, "flipping" his own messy mop of hair.
"I'll take that as a compliment," The doe allowed a smile to cross her face as she hopped towards him, neck outstretched once a butterfly fluttered overhead. It was as if her goals had been completely changed now, determined to capture the butterfly. She hopped after it, but once it got away, she turned and lifted a brow at him. I mean, if she did have eyebrows, it would have looked like that. "I guess I could say that you're a pretty cool dude."She pranced towards him this time, brushing past him and circling the buck like he did her.
He chuckled, "You'd know when I was shutting you out," he fell silent, his eye scanning the other's face, before it fell on the mask Hannibal wore, "What type of skull is that, by the way?" he looked away, "I've been trying to pinpoint it, but it's hard to do. The teeth are puzzling."
Bunnycorn Chuckled bemusedly as the doe's focus shifted completely, now bouncing along after a random butterfly. She was an oddball for sure, but a charming one. And hey, he wasn't one to judge: he definitely had his own ADD moments. Shiny objects, butterflies, they were all the same in his book. Grinned widely when she acknowledged his coolness, throwing back his shoulders and rolling his neck. "Ahh well, yanno...thanks," he chuckled, soon swinging his neck to keep up with her as she circled him. Whoa, gettin' dizzy! Pounced into her path when he timed it right, crouching and grinning wider up at her. "Didn't see that comin', didja?" he teased.
Waning-Sun Blinked when the skull came into question, and then his cheeks began to tint once again. The skull...right. The thing he so proudly wore and yet was so ashamed to talk about. Or rather, lie about in most cases. What would Zash say or think if he ever found out that the buck had, shall we say, sticky hooves? Still, a part of him remained relieved that Zash had not brought up the fact that he bore no antlers; not even a trace of a nub.
"Ah, well...I'm really not sure, to be honest. Some kind of nasty thing I'm sure. I just...found it, back at home, and decided to keep it," Hannibal explained with an awkward grin. Well, all of that was true anyway, but the devil was in the details. In an attempt to divert some attention from the origin of the thing, Hannibal dipped and shook his head until the skull tumbled into the grass. "Wanna give it a try? I bet it'll look awesome on you," he said with a chuckle, lightly pushing it towards the grey with his hooves.
Ariana was completely caught off guard at this, skidding to a stop just in time."No.. I honestly didn't," She giggled softly, looking down at the stag with gentle emerald eyes. She copied his stance and crouched down, lowering her head as if she had antlers to spar with. Instead, a few of her feathers flopped forth, covering her forehead. Embarrassed, she shook them back into place, before hopping forth as if to challenge him.
A somewhat stricken look crossed the gray stag's face when the mask was tossed in his direction, but it was only just a flash of trepidation as he carefully masked it moments later with a look that said he was mildly curious.
"Just found it huh?" he asked casually, having noted the hesitation in the other's voice, but he was only poking fun, trying to buy a moment or two while his mind tried to figure out how on earth he was going to get the mask on his head, let alone if he even wanted to. He didn't necessarily mind masks themselves, but he didn't like wearing them all the time. Only when he needed to keep the sun out of his eye, like when he got migraines. After staring at it and idly trying to catch the edge of the skull with his hoof, he gave up, sliding it back toward Hannibal with a shrug and an apologetic smile, "Maybe some other time. I'm not the most coordinated deer here. We'll be here all day watching me try to figure out how to pick this thing up, let alone get it on my face." Granted there were other ways to get it on his head, he could easily just stuff his face with the mask and hoped it fit, but not right now. He didn't feel like exposing how pathetic he was at the moment.
Bunnycorn Chuckled as she copied him and as she was blinded by her own feathers. Hopped forward as she did, though taking care to not accidentally headbutting her. Gods knew he had a thick skull. Curving his neck down, he touched his forehead to hers and pushed back with a grin. He had seen this type of rough-and-tumble play before between males, which basically amounted to a pushing match, but he wondered how a doe would fare. He wouldn't doubt that she was tougher than she appeared. "C'mon, have at it," he said encouragingly, giving another teasing push. After all, who didn't want to shove him around?
Waning-Sun Unfortunately, that stricken look had gone unnoticed as Hannibal was not the most observant of creatures. He grew a little nervous when Zash appeared to question the origin of the mask, but the grey mercifully seemed to leave the subject alone all the same. Once again the buck found himself feeling grateful that the other male was not nosy by nature. He couldn't help but feel foolish when Zash was unable to put on the mask; for whatever reason, he assumed that the grey knew exactly what to do and how to do it. Clearly he wasn't used to wearing masks, especially ones as clunky as that thing.
"Maybe I can help you with that...if that's okay," the buck offered with an apologetic grin. Rising to his feet, he leaned down to pick the skull up by the tied ribbon with his teeth. Raised both of his brows down at the grey, smiling around the ribbon as if to say, I totally got this, really.
Zash felt an inner demon rise to the forefront of his mind. Pride. I don't need help. Yet, he understood that he did sometimes. Rather, a lot of the time. Okay, most of the time. He hated that more than anything, but accepted it as some form of his fate. Hannibal didn't know that though and to go off on Hannibal because he didn't understand some weird component to Zash's mindset wasn't the nicest thing to do. Zash understood that too. He hated snapping at some innocent being because they just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. It was the innocent way Hannibal asked that put him somewhat at ease. He wanted to help. He wasn't helping out of pity-or maybe he was- but because he wanted to.
Zash had tensed when Hannibal had moved to pick up the mask, ready to fire off the first excuse that came to mind, but catching the innocent look in his eyes he relaxed a bit, resigning himself to a nod.
"Alright..." he still didn't know how Hannibal was going to get it on his head. Did the mask even cover his tines? Zash had noted the other's lack of antlers...maybe the mask was designed to fit his head, making up for absence of tines?
Wait...he hadn't thought quite too far ahead for this. Hannibal was so used to slipping on the skull with ease, due to an embarrassing lack of tines, that it did not occur for him to take Zash's own into consideration. He felt pretty stupid now, standing there dumbly with the ribbon catching tight between his teeth as he contemplated. Hm, maybe if... Rolled his shoulders and moved forward, deciding to give it a go anyway. Angling his neck upward, he gently placed the top half of the skull atop Zash's head, and the piece just barely squeezed in snugly between the tines. From there gravity took over, and the jaw dangled beneath his chin while threads connected the two halves together. The ribbon itself could not be slipped over the grey's head without untying it first, which was of course impossible to accomplish without thumbs, but his tines appeared to keep the skull tightly in place. Stepped back and grinned, satisfied at his handiwork. "Eh, close enough I guess. How does it feel?" He didn't think to consider that the grey may be experiencing some pressure with how his tines squeezed against the skull, but hopefully not too much or at all.
Ariana gave a soft smirk as he pressed his forehead to hers and pushed back, taking a step backwards along with him. Her eyes were locked with his as if they were having a stare-off, though she was only waiting for him to become distracted. Planting her hooves into the ground, the doe began to push back with only a bit of her strength, testing at first how strong he actually was."That all you got?" The doe gently teased the buck, returning the push. Closing her emerald eyes, she lowered her head even more than it was and tried not to wobble on her own legs, pressing her head against his. She'd swerve hers to to left lightly to see if he was paying attention, and then added a bit of force to her shove.
Nothing much could distract the buck when he became utterly focused on a certain goal or task. In this case, said goal was to be impressive in front of a friend. When she started to push back, Hannibal tensed his muscles and dug his back hooves into the earth, letting her put all of her weight on him. "Nope," he muttered, and then suddenly pushed forward when the doe's angle shifted, attempting to catch her off-guard. In reality he was simply testing her; he had a feeling that her reflexes would be pretty good. "That all you got?" he playfully teased back with a wide grin.

[Awe, haha. Zash can be that
"im not sure, to be perfectly honest with you." He answered after several heartbeats of thought.
Haha, I sent you an e-mail
It's not worth the risk, but man do I want to give it a try," he continued softly, digging his front hooves gingerly into the soft earth.

...aandd just curious, would you know the hover code?

You're very welcome dear!
<*div style="width:420px; height:210px;color:#fff;overflow:auto; background:url('http://i.imgur.com/FqwSLfN.png'); border-style: double; border-color:#0D0D0D; text-align:center; padding:20px; font: 11px Verdana; letter-spacing:1pt;"*>
Sans asteriks of course. If you'd like, you can copy and paste the same code into where it says 'first box' in the original code that I e-mail you. Don't forget to close the tags: <*div><*/div> c: Hope that makes sense, sob ;n;
<*style>a.info { position:relative; z-index:24; text-decoration:none; color:#HEX !important; text-shadow:none;} a.info:hover { z-index:25; background:none; text-shadow:none;} a.info span { display: none; } a.info:hover span { display:block; position:absolute; top:2em; left:2em; width:150px; color: #HEX; border:1px solid #HEX; background-color:#HEX; text-align: left; padding: 10px; }<*/style>
Hope this helps! ♥

Bunnycorn Got startled again
Got startled again when the doe leaped right into his face, and the next thing he knew he was covered in more water.
Waning-Sun
Hannibal's eyes widened slightly as the grey threw out his own theory of soul judgment.

(Hehe, when Zash is around
Zash gave a slow nod, his
He issued a quiet sigh and slowly twisted himself around to where he was lying on his good side.
Ariana had taken a quick left
Waning-Sun The buck regarded
The buck regarded him with a nod, silent as he let everything sink in at once.
Bunnycorn
She was quick, but like many others she had underestimated how streamlined he was.
"Why would I want to..." Zash
Hannibal stared blankly at
"Oh..." he trailed off,

Waning-Sun Now is was
Now is was Hannibal's turn to be quizzical.
Bunnycorn
The buck nodded stiffly at this, though not quite convinced.
"I'll take that as a
He chuckled, "You'd know when
Bunnycorn Chuckled bemusedly
Chuckled bemusedly as the doe's focus shifted completely, now bouncing along after a random butterfly.
Waning-Sun
Blinked when the skull came into question, and then his cheeks began to tint once again.
Ariana was completely caught
A somewhat stricken look
Bunnycorn Chuckled as she
Chuckled as she copied him and as she was blinded by her own feathers.
Waning-Sun
Unfortunately, that stricken look had gone unnoticed as Hannibal was not the most observant of creatures.
Zash felt an inner demon rise
Zash had tensed when Hannibal had moved to pick up the mask, ready to fire off the first excuse that came to mind, but catching the innocent look in his eyes he relaxed a bit, resigning himself to a nod.
"Alright..." he still didn't know how Hannibal was going to get it on his head. Did the mask even cover his tines? Zash had noted the other's lack of antlers...maybe the mask was designed to fit his head, making up for absence of tines?
