The Rut is the mating season of deer. It's been altered a bit to be integrated into The Endless Forest, taking out most of the mating aspect(Unless you want to play that way!)
The 'fighting' is just the normal emotes with some imagination. It mostly consists of rearing, antler lowering, taunting, and sometimes some other actions thrown in.
You can do whatever you want to, I suppose?
Your fawn will grow up within the next couple days, and when it does you should be able to fill out the application form and send it to the people who run this event!
Edit: I think I failed there a bit. Could you probably change 'Pictogram' to 'Kauna'. She is the one with RD Mask, grey pelt and magpie feathers. Fff. Me fails so bad. >__>
Okay, guys. The Rut blog is updated on my end. If you still don't see your deer, you probably sent your email to Faustt and she'll have it up when she's out of school today.
On another note, I've had to personally host and crop down some of the Rutting pictures I've received. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could do that part yourselves, because its really just unnecessary work / hassle for me. Thanks.

Echosong; your deer is listed, but I'm tired of cropping peoples Rut pictures and you provided us with a large screenshot. So I just removed her Rut picture altogether and left a little note where one should be. you need a 150x150 image for her. thanks. (:
I joined this a couple of days ago, and this excites me. I'll be observing the rut as a fawn (yet to be named) with the magpie pelt, antlers (well, feathers) and mask. My pictogram represents a 9, but with a horizontal T in the circle.
I think I made a mistake, I originally sent it to Faustt's . That is and email account right? I had a bad feeling that it was an MSN account (I'm not on MSN so I'd have no way to know the difference) so I re-sent it to the other account listed in the sign up thread.
That was last night though so I don't know if I should wait a bit and see if it gets recieved that way.
Or I could just put the info up here if that would be better at all.
