• Sabastion suffers from insomnia and rarely finds rest. When he does, he has surreal dreams that are devoid of hope.
• He tends to wander, as he gets restless easily, even if he's in the company of friends.
• He is often deep in thought and stuck in a perpetual waking dream-like state.
• Large antlers are frightening to him; he is uncomfortable around very masculine deer.
• He is homosexual, but he is very much in denial of this. He fears any form of intimate contact, and nuzzles from males.
• His fear of large antlers is attributed to his fear of giving in to his underlying sexuality towards males.
• He is prone to having bouts of anxiety and sometimes panic attacks, usually over nothing.
• Because of his social phobia he tends to avoid groups of deer; he prefers minimal company.
• He may flee from a growing crowd, or invasive deer. He is easily spooked by deer that rush into his personal space.
• Suffers from mild audio and visual hallucinations at times due to having a form of schizophrenia.
• His audio hallucinations are similar to this wavering sound effect (1:20-1:22).
• On the rare occasion he also hears disembodied whispering and screams, as well as unearthly noises.
• Visual hallucinations vary in their intensity, but usually not crippling. Mostly consist of facial and shadow distortions.
• It is sometimes difficult for him to remember faces or scents due to these distortions. His memory is also not very good.
• Patience and understanding are key to knowing and getting to know Sabastion.

Absolutely! I would love for him to meet one of your characters, though depending on their physical appearance it may be either easy or hard to approach him. If the character is a doe who doesn't have huge antlers, then he was immediately be comfortable. Of course, you can meet him on whatever character you wish; I look forward to it!

Ah, gotcha. That's definitely one of the downsides to playing on the older versions, although in all fairness the new version does lack the ever-awesome permadevout glitch.

I'm very sorry to hear that! It's no problem, though; I would very much like them to meet sometime. Now that I know her set and picto, I'll be able to keep an eye out for her!

Yesss~ I absolutely love Pink Floyd. Funnily enough, I was inspired to make Sabastion while listening to both Pink Floyd and Aphex Twin one day. If there can ever be a perfect combination of music, it's those two, hands down!

LOL, yes, gay characters are the best! <3 Although he is in severe denial, the poor guy. T_T As for his design...I really, really hate to say it, and kind of ashamed to admit it, but I haven't really decided on anything. He does have a human face, the skull is from an actual deer, and he does have candles on his tines. Buuut, I haven't figured out what his coat looks like...well, markings-wise, anyway. It may just be a literal translation to how it appears in-game, but I'll be muddling over it for sure!

Freyja - Ah, so that's your deer; pleased to meet you! LOL no worries at all; I find him to be pretty interesting! I play a socially awkward character myself, so I completely understand. Sabastion is curious about him, but he's also a little nervous; he's not used to others watching or stalking him, even if they have friendly intentions. I apologize for any bad vibes, as all of Sabastion's reactions are purely IC. But, I am glad that the mystery has been solved! Silly map, gah.

1Antidote - LOL, I like him too! Pff, yeah, I figured it was my viewer; it does funky stuff like that sometimes, but it's usually more amusing that annoying. Aww, poor Martin! T_T Sabastion's nervous for sure, but not quite afraid yet. Yet being the key word!

No problem! That is good timing actually, because I'm going to head off to bed soon (it's almost 6:30 AM where I am in the States...gah, I'm bad LOL). I probably won't leave the game running, but in any case I had a lovely time playing Sab and meeting Martin! It was quite an evening, too: I'm shocked the poor guy hasn't had a heart-attack, LOL! I do hope that they can meet again in the near future, and despite his bad memory I have a feeling that Sab will be able to remember Martin's scent. :3 Have yourself a good day/evening; it's been fun! <3

Aww, poor guy! Sabastion began to realize that Bryn wasn't aggressive, but he still felt uncomfortable that he had been following him and Martin. He had never been followed like that before, even by a friendly deer, and so he wasn't sure how to react. Bryn is a sweetie, though, and he did mean well. Hopefully there aren't any hard feelings on his part!
