Family
Herla (Beloved, partner)Herla is Gehirn's chosen partner, after many relationships and failures on the Irish' part. They started out quite simply as friends, Gehirn having a partner thus anything further simply was not on their mind. And that was fine, for the longest time.
Over time, with his mate missing and his feelings for her fading, Gehirn's feelings towards Herla started to change. Realising he might yet again fall for another doe whilst mated, Gehirn broke up the relationship with his ex before starting anything with Herla. He wanted to be absolutely sure this time.
A time of self-exploration and no-promises started, still Herla sticked loyally to his side.
Their partnership was fluent and unforced. Never was there the moment the one asked the other to be their mate, no date to be celebrated every year.
Herla brings out the more carefree and happy side of Gehirn, as well as his insecurity's and protectiveness. His biggest fear is for harm to come to her or their children.
Gehirn adores Herla in every way, even if she keeps getting lost trying to find him. They got officially married in India.
Verve (First born daughter)Verve is Gehirn's first daughter, and his and Trees' child. Being a large fawn at birth, Verve easily survived winter and became a healthy, tall doe. She is a source of worry for Gehirn, as well as one of comfort. Having raised a daughter to be headstrong, individualistic and intelligent, Gehirn believes life can't really make it more difficult for him. Unless Herla births three girls, then he might contemplate suicide.(I genuinly wrote this before there was even talk of it being triplets. Poor guy)
Verve's view on life is quite different from his own, especially after her long trip to the savannah's outside the forest. Tries to respect her views, as long as she respects his. Close.
Johan (Son of him and Herla)A bit of a headstrong fellow, not unlike his mother Gehirn likes to think. The buck is often found in less-than-likeable company, monsters, predator's, other possible Johan-eaters. Those seem to be his favourites. Really, the buck has aged Gehirn by at least ten years. Gehirn fears Johan's judgement, and really wishes he'd try to hang out with bucks and does his age. And species, preferably. Has tried in the past to accept Johan's different choices in company, but after having to drag him out of trouble multiple times Gehirn has sort of given up. Very tired of the disrespect from the buck towards him and Herla, and very worried about the future.(Keeping that here for history's sake)
With the buck aging, he and his father got more onto one line. Events taught Johan what his parents really were so worried about, and a lot of his naïvety seems to have evolved in a more mature sense of self. Aware he seems interested in Herla's midwife-job, and there has been talk of Johan being taught the ins and outs of it. Perhaps any other father would've worried that made him seem too feminine. Thinks that's a bullshit mindset and is very proud of his son taking interest in such a proud job. Still really terrified of childbirth himself, so can't really help the buck there. Teaches him how to handle obnoxious deer though, how to defend himself and others if needed. Sees more and more of his own protective tendency in Johan.
Leto (Son of him and Herla)Much calmer than his brother, Leto gives the parents a lot less stress. Soft spoken and reliable, Leto doesn't seem to cause Gehirn as many gray hairs as his twin brothers. Human faced and bigger in size, Leto has a lot of the looks from his father. Which of course, pleases Gehirn. Especially seeing his nose being continued. Where would we be without.
Can see a lot of himself and Herla in the buck, he seems to take on other parts of both parents than his brother. Leto a lot more aloof like his father, yet as gentle as his mother. Watches him in amusement as he tries to keep groups of deer together, especially family.
Vasana (Daughter of him and Herla)Loud, energetic, likely trouble at a later age. Vasana reminds him a lot of himself in her rowdy behaivor. Very fond of her. The only one born pretty much healthy. Pretty aware she's large, wonders if she'll be competing with him and Verve for largest-family member. Really hoping she doesn't win. For her sake. Verve's ridicoulously tall, but don't tell her that.
Indira (Daughter of him and Herla)Born second, a very white, sickish little girl. Had some trouble recognising himself and Herla in her, since neither of them are white of fur. Figures there's likely a pale ancestor around, and is kind of curious of who's side that'd be on. Likely not his. Protective about the girl, dotes on her whenever he can. She has improved a lot on her walking, pretty hopeful about her future.
Neela (Daughter of him and Herla)The youngest, born close to dying in a sense. Extremely stressed at first if she'd make it, but Neela pulled through. Yet never uttered a word. As soon as she recovered a bit after their india-trip, he got to see who Neela really is. A tiny pest. Had a lot of trouble keeping her in-check and chasing her all over the forest. A bit worried at times they'll go through the same with her as they have with Johan. Has slowly been making process though, getting better at communicating with the mute girl. Especially now she can talk. Silently amused by her rowdy behaivor, even with a gentle mother as Herla it seems most his children can't help but take on him a little.
Ciel (Like a son, adoptive)The young stag had him quite concerned, even annoyed in the past. Always bringing Herla into trouble. The boy seemed to resurrect as a fawn once more, and had lost his memory. Very skeptical about this in the beginning, though it became clear Herla wanted to do everything in her power to make this second chance work. Decided to set his worries aside, and helped her out where he could.
Quickly became attatched to the young boy anyway, taking care of him as if one of his own together with Herla. Trusts the stag, he is a tremendous help to him and Herla in protecting and taking care of the children. Doesn't always sit on one line with him, and butts heads fairly often, but only because Gehirn doesn't let him sit on his ass moping.
Sonne (Son of him and Trees)Lost contact with. Never had much of contact with him to begin with, as his mother decided to raise him with a herd of wolves outside of the forest.
Close friends
Virgil (Beloved, source of conflict. †)An important, close relationship that held strongly for years.
The stag harboured many conflicts throughout their relationship, though continuously returned to one another. Loved the stag dearly, though became aware far too late they only ended up hurting eachother. Virgil passed away from old age after travelling outside of the forest through a broken portal. Recieved a tine upon his passing, though buried it a few weeks after.
Ravenflight (Beloved)When Ravenflight and Gehirn met, both were quite a lot younger. For years the two would meet on-and-off, getting into trouble and causing mischief. Making it into the newspaper with their drunken endeavours.
Ravenflight became a love interest for Gehirn, though he never voiced it. He watched as she ran off with another stag, who, in his eyes, was not worthy of her at all. Of course he was right, but things were too late then. And likely for the best. Both stubborn, headstrong and powerfully opinionated deer, Gehirn and Ravenflight would've made for a very clashy pair. Being friends suits Gehirn just fine, as he looks out for her constantly. The two fought by eachothers side, helped eachother through the deaths of beloveds, and saved eachothers lives.
Poltergeist (Close friend †)Even though his nature was completely opposite to the calm and loving Poltergeist, the two found a lot of rest in eachothers company. At times, the doe seemed wiser than the older stag.
As Trees adopted Poltergeist as her daughter, Gehirn never adopted Poltergeist as his own. Perhaps because he and Trees were not together back then, or because he knew Polts actual mother.
It seemed her death took a big toll on the stag, as Poltergeist died giving birth. Ever since, he has feared for pregnant does their lives, and seems extra protective about them.
EphiréGehirn was never too sure what to think of the quiet, reserved stag called Ephiré. Always unsure of other stags, especially those his size, it took him quite a while before he knew what to make of this one. Opposite to him, Ephiré is collected and calm, and has such an effect in turn on Gehirn. Got to know his more silly side too, and is ever so proud when he gets Ephiré to goof off or to behave a little less reserved. Ephiré could be considered Gehirn's closest male-friend right now, which is quite an achievement in Gehirn's eyes. Finds the stag has suprisingly soft lips.
Charges
Sterre (Charge/adoptive daughter)Since Gehirn used to be close to the does mother, he feels like it is up to him to support Sterre further on in her life. Has unfortunately not been able to see much of her previously, now hopes to change that. Finds her cheerfull attitude refreshing, likes to hang out with her. Keeps her close, even after her breakup with Ciel. Does not see how that should change his feelings towards her at all.
KaikiasAnother buck Gehirn has kept an eye on from the age of fawn. Gehirn is always very surprised by how much Kaikias knows from just actions, and not words. The young buck always being very helpful in protecting the group.
Proud of him, glad to be in his company and proud to regard him as one of his charges. Missing
CaerFound her as a young fawn together with Herla, and soon became a constant presence in their life. Watched her grow up into a young doe. Protective about her, looks out for her. Sees her less these days though, regrets that. Missing
ShoUnaware of his parents as they met, Gehirn quickly took the youngin under his wing whenever possible. Watched him grow into a stag as well, where he went his own way. The buck now seems hesistant upon joining Gehirn and his family, finds this a bit bothersome. Doesn't want to push him, but heck Sho! How difficult can it be! Seems the stag has forgotten about him and Herla. Has pretty much given up on him.
WaarhijdBeing his adoptive daughter in the past, Gehirn never could really set aside his fatherly feelings for her. Even though their relationship turned cold after he was tired of her irresponsibility, they were able to sort out their issues later on. Protects her whenever she needs it, and enjoys their conversations. Missing.
Friends
Isiel (Friendly acquaintance)Met through Herla, still somewhat new in the relationship but likes the doe's temper and general atmosphere. Somewhat hopes to get to know her better, seems like a sane one. Enjoys talking to her.
Ramsus (Errr)Difficult to describe. Ramsus started out as just another creep creeping on Herla, sold him a smack and a warning. It was free.
Only got more annoyed as he seemed to constantly need to stick his nose into his family's business. Johan already seeing him as a good friend and now even Herla started to have doubts. Grumble. They had the same goals and enemies though, so some form of alliance was born.
Doesn't see the stag as a danger anymore, even sort of enjoys his company. Finds him really difficult though. Has tried to see him in a more positive light, but can't get around the stag's general angry disposition.
JulietGehirn has always enjoyed the young doe’s company and playfulness, but also realizes she is Jack’s charge. Not getting along with the white stag at all, Gehirn keeps his distance from Juliet when he is about. Tends not to go to her, but wait for her to come to him. Their relationship has no pressure, enjoys her silent company. Missing
IaurdagnireHolds deep respect for the great stag named Iaurdagnire. Met him as a friend of Virgil's, and was greatly impressed. He does not fully understand what the blue stag goes through every season, but he tries his best to.
Learned of what seems to be the giant’s death, very confused but deeply concerned. Knows he is close to Ravenflight as well. Fought for his return together with many others. Likes to bother him, a good addition to "man-time".
DajhiDajhi is a doe that quickly grew to become a close friend of Gehirn. He loves to talk to her, tell her about his experiences in life. Ever since Dajhi got pregnant by her mate, Gehirn has been very protective about the doe, trying to help her wherever he can. He finds her to be a very sweet, calm doe whom often reminds him of Poltergeist. Missing.
Gustiro (Eeh?)Quite confused about this one, even though trying to help out the stag in the past to get over his own dislike.
Can at times not help but feel sorry for the stag. Thinks he's a big dork that gets into trouble too often and hangs out with a bad crowd. Missing.
Eraline (Acquaintance †)Never got to know her too well, saw parts of her stubbornness as well as her playful nature. Was mated to Ciel. Passed away.
Disliked
Djinn(Dislike)A young doe Gehirn has known since she was a fawn. Has grown protective about her and likes to keep her company. Likes to cheer her up. Finds she has a bad self esteem for the pretty doe she is.
Has once more taken her under his wing as she had a violent break up with her mate so to say.
Quite confused by her insisting on being with this stag anyway, after the abuse she suffered from him. Had to learn Herla had picked her as godmother of their children without being involved, does not blame Djinn for this but seems to have issues with the choice.
Again somewhat hit-in-the-face by her later, being let out of the decisions about her children their godparents entirely. Upset about this, has never recieved word of it afterwards either. Seems the doe is just assuming he is okay if he is quiet. Feeling cold towards her, as he gets the feeling he doesn't matter anyway.
AuroraGrew close to the doe suprisingly quick. Both are chatterboxes, though she thinks about life quite differently. They have an interesting time compairing philosophy's, but never clashing. Agreeing to disagree, Gehirn and Aurora find easy company in eachother. He likes to tease her, of course, and in a sense their relationship could be described as brother and sister.
Promised her times ago that he'd assist against fighting her demons. Apparantly unaware this could involve nearly killing his own daughter, sending Gehirn's mind down in a spiral of confusion and not knowing who to blame. Lost it when he figured Aurora didn't actually care about the wellbeing of his daughter(in his eyes), and chased her off. His hate and blame towards her only growing when it turned out his mate had been burdened with the choice to either let Verve die or give Aurora some torture-gem. Blames the doe for the state his family is in, with his mate pregnant and ill, and his daughter scarred over completely. Terrified this isn't the end of it, and by now no longer above killing the doe to end it all and give her demons their way. In the end threatened to kill her if she would ever come near his family again, effectively breaking up their bond. His family no longer at risk, her demon no longer having a target. Feels this is safest.
VaslaDefended Waarhijd against him. Doesn't know him otherwise, but initiually a dislike. Will protect anyone close to him from this figure.
Has lately heard the stag has been seen spying on Herla, and recently pulled Ciel away from a fight with him. Wary of.
RutilusUsed to be pretty close to the stag, having a lot of fun with him and Virgil. Their relationship turned colder when Gehirn split from his sister Taliene, but nevertheless they seemed to be able to resolve their issue.
Though during a disagreement with an overreactive Gehirn, Rutilus turned to Virgil in a rather suggestive way to anger Gehirn, and successfully. Gehirn’s stomach seems to turn whenever he spies the golden stag now, afraid he’d turn onto his other friends next when disagreeing with the irish.
Has come to dislike the stag after more disagreements and wordful bashes. Gone.
SorogThe first time the two met, Gehirn had attempted to perhaps learn to know this stag. No avail, the stag was stubborn and it became clear to Gehirn he only held interest in Herla. He warned him from the start not to hurt her, where the reddish stag got furious. In the end, it seemed Gehirn turned out to be right about this stag. Gehirn is not going to be up for second chances easily. Gone.
NightmareBarely had any confrontations with the stag, but by now knows better than to trust him. Despised for his low attacks on Herla. Seems gone.
SiannaHaving to defend Herla quite a few times against the doe, and having heard one too many stories, Gehirn does not tolerate the aggressive figure around those he cares about. He may also react very negatively to anyone who chooses to hang out with her, not understanding why anyone would like someone with such agressive tendencies. Does not keep in mind they may not know.
WalterNot likely to ever forgive the old stag for his random rampage against Ravenflight and himself. Has not come to terms with the stag and likely never will.
Sees him as a rapist, abuser and child-murderer.
Please keep in mind Gehirn has been an active character for over five years, which means some bonds will eventually dwindle if there is no interaction. This is nothing personal towards you as a person! If I forget someone though, feel free to tell me.

The younger, yet near equally sized bison did his best to approach Gehirn in a manner that was friendly, but it seemed to come out more as silly and clumsy. "Hey, ya ol' fart.", Nash teased, hoping the old man would realize who he was and that he wouldn't get angry at the joke. "Remember me?", he gruffed deeply, stopping when he was around five feet away from his old friend. Sure, Nash had grown, changed, and matured alot; but inside he was still the same.
------
{e} I was gonna do one for Herla too, but I saw the notice and decided it was best to make one for her after Gehirn knows who Nash is again, rofl.
{e2} LOL Nash's speech color is the color of the normal text ifeliufhe
Shim: Only if I get some.
Only if I get some. Grrr! XDD
Apeldille:
Yay more space for updates! Tiny little square div was getting difficult ;_;
Dinamo:
At first, his gaze towards the bison was wary. There was something familair about them, but he could not exactly put his hoof on the feeling of recognition. Instead, he frowned, trying to find out what they were up to in their approach. At their odd greeting, one brow went down whilst the other went up. Old fart what? Then the very-buff-deer-like-creature even asked him if he remembered him.
Wait, what?
The faces he pulled at Nash ranged from "What are you up to", to "Wait I know you." And maybe a "What is going on?" inbetween. "Nash?" He asked, finally. And so his face would light up again, his head straight and no longer in a tilt. "My, you have grown quite a bit boy!" Gehirn laughed, realising who it was it seemed the tension seeped off of him. The stag stepped forward to inspect the bison. "You're of size I have to admit, but what happend to your antlers?" What a blunt question, but the horns on Nash' head didn't seem fitting for his body.
"How have you been doing?" Gehirn asked, inviting Nash to come sit with with them. "Haven't seen you around much, I admit." The irish realized he could not always keep an eye on everyone. These days they had to come to him, but it was nice to see Nash again.
---
Ohpff no worries! And it seems slightly more pinkish than the normal text to me. ;D. Did you visit Gehirn In-forest too btw? Because it's likely we were afk at that time 8(
Sweet, and at least it is
------
The Bison took joy in watching Gehirn's facial features change from confusion to understanding to recognition, and finally to happiness. Glad that his joke was taken lightly, he listened to the older bull compliment his size, but then ask about his horns. He was definitely sad that they were so shrimplike compared to the rest of him, but he guessed it was because he was different. Yet, he always hoped that the magic in the forest he lived in now would make them get bigger with his age. "I know..depressing huh?", he muttered glumly, tilting his massive head down so Gehirn could get a better look at them.
Sighing, he lifted his head up just in time to catch the invitation. Making a smile to the best of his abilities, he waltzed over, creating deep hoofprints in the moist earth he crushed as he made his way over. Nodding at the bull's final comment, he sighed and finally sat next to him, his equally massive body thudding loudly against the terrain as he crashed against it. With a tired grunt he spoke again, his already deep voice booming: "I've been fine..outgrown my childish innocence, if that is what you've meant. But otherwise, I've managed to stay out of trouble, heh heh...And I know; it is my fault. I've seen you and Herla around a few times, but you two were alone and it felt wrong to go and barge in...but that still is no excuse."
Another deep sigh, and then the younger looked over to the older. "And how have you been?", he asked, having picked up on the stag's initial heightened sense of wariness, he did honestly wonder what was up.
------
{e} Btw..is the rp just between Geh and Nash? Or are you implying with the "them" that Herla or..others are with them too? I just wanna be accurate.
{e2} Do you have a msn? I'm not sure if I have added you or not, and I'd love to if I haven't. <3
Alright! I wasn't sure,
My msn is , it's decided to add people again so feel free to add me. ♥
Oh yes, haha, the them. Uuh. Euuh. Thinky. Let's say she's not there atm, unless Sight body-throws herself into here. XDD
-------
The irish curiously looked at the little horns, inspecting them. It seemed that even the young, well uhm, stag, wasn't too proud of them. "Hm.." The stag mused, thinking. "They do look very sharp. I suppose, used well, these could deliver more damage than a set of giants like mine. Yours don't slow down." Gehirn complimented, atleast he had that.
Gehirn watched him come over, all the weight he carried with him. It had been quite the transformation, he realised. Where Nash had been quite the small thing before, now it was like he was one big chunk of meat and muscle. "Ah, well, staying out of trouble plays an important role in this forest." The irish replied. His expression changed a little when the young 'stag' mentioned he wasn't sure about approaching him and Herla. "You're always welcome to join us." Dark brows frowned down. "We would welcome the company. I don't leave her side a lot these days since I cannot afford leaving her to herself in this forest. The predators have been increasing, likely winter is driving them hungry." He had thought about that.
A smile when Nash asked how he had been doing. "I cannot complain too much. There have been sad happenings going around, but I am wallowing in my own content happiness." Selfish, maybe, but he could not bring it to himself to stress over matters in the past too long. He had the future. "Apologies about my staring, by the way." A chuckle. "I am going to be a father again, and I cannot afford strangers barging up. It's hard to know who is friendly and who is not, these days." Even though serious in tone, there was a smile upon his face he could not hide.
He gave a nod at the final
Hearing the older's next words made him feel bad about bringing up the predators and passing, since in the words he had spoken, it seemed he had lost a few friends or family. But, in the last part, Nash felt slightly better. "My condolences, Gehirn. But, I am ever happy for you; it is never good to be sad." Next, a deep snort. "It's alright, Geh. I know I am quite a sight, I admit.", he said with a sigh, slightly embarrassed and yet proud to look so different than the others here.
The next statement caught the young one quite off guard. "...." Silence fell between the two, feeling heavy and awkward, yet with hidden emotion behind it. Finally, catching his tongue, a huge, confused and somewhat nervous smile broke out on his massive, furred face. Trying to hide the everlying fact that he did not know very much about children and the such that lingered with them, his struggled to find words. "C-congratulations! How long h-have you known?", he asked innocently, stumbling over his words. He had no need to ask who the mother was, for it was quite too obvious how Herla and the older bull had gotten so close. Suddenly feeling embarrassed and shy, he was glad there was fur on his great cheeks, for he could feel himself blush.
Hopefully, the great Irish could pick up on the yearling's confusions and would explain. Otherwise, though thinking about this made him blush deeper, he would have to find some way to ask himself.

LOLOLOL "THETALK". PS--sorry it took so long. ;___; <3
Stalk....I mean, track!
The small black doe lazed,
(Thought this might be easier!)
Gehirn chuckled
A nod in reply to the condolences. "Thank you, but they should not be for me." The irish thought about saying more, mouth already opening, but he closed it again. No, those kind of things should be left to the troubled to speak if, if they'd wish to do so. Gehirn laughed when Nash admitted he was not one to be easily looked over. "You are different, yes, but that's not bad. I'd even say slightly intimidating." A wink to the younger one. Gehirn was quite of size himself, being intimidated was not something that happend to him often. If at all.
Not that he had been now, ofcourse.
When noticing Nash' awkwardness about him mentioning becoming a father, Gehirn's smile seemed to slowly fade, but an eyebrow rose in reply. Slowly a grin formed as Nash got back on his words. "Than you." He dipped his head slightly. "For a while now. I'd say a few weeks." His ears turned, attention falling to the stirring shape next to him. She had been asleep so quietly, Gehirn felt a little embarrassed for waking her up. "Good morning sunshine." He smiled lovingly, as he realised the confused look on her face. "Ah, this is Nash, he's been gone for quite too long don't you think?" His face turned to Nash again, smirking.
Though the giant realised he had somewhat evaded Nash' awkwardness about the subject. "You seemed a bit suprised, though." The stag mentioned to the bison. "..By me mentioning that I was going to be a father, I mean." Gehirn added to make sure there was no confusion about the subject. His eyes fell back to Herla's round belly. "You are growing quite quickly, aren't you..?" He asked the doe. Maybe she could assist the stags in this curious situation.
-----
(sure is Sight! XD Also it's no problem Din! ^^)
Hii Freyja XD
A smile, it made him feel a
Yet another nod to Gehirn's thanks about his congratulating the older bull, he smiled yet again. "Good to hear. Do you have a guess on how much longer it would be..?", he asked, trailing off when he started to notice Herla waking. Hoping it wasn't he that had done it, he offered the doe a smile. Not being able to help himself, he felt a pang of jealousy. Yes, he was young, but still - he envied the deep love the two shared. It made him wonder: would he ever find a soulmate like that? Then, he was overcome by yet another sudden emotion. Guilt. These were his friends, plus he was ever young. He mentally shook the sudden feelings out of his mind when Gehirn picked back up speaking.
Blinking - almost as if he was caught in headlights - he cleared his throat and felt uncomfortable. He would have felt better asking either one of them if they had been alone, but now he felt embarrassed that both had picked up on his not knowing about what went on with children and the latter of them. Feeling hot, he was glad when the older bull seemed to change the subject, but as soon as he noticed Gehirn's eyes on Herla's belly, the queasiness returned. "N-nevermind.", he studdered quickly, suddenly wishing he hadn't been nervous in the first place. Still wanting to know the answer yet hoping the subject would change, he flicked his reddish eyes out to the terrain around him, feeling hot once more.
------
LOL poor kid. ;__;
Herla smiled up at her mate
It seemed Gehirn had told Nash of their happy news. When The Irish looked at her belly and mentioned how much it was growing, she blushed briefly herself, her gaze shifting to her swollen abdomen. It had indeed been growing quickly, a little more than she thought normal in fact…if there were only one fawn. She smile again and turned back to Nash, seeing an embarrassed expression on the bison’s face, she thought she could detect a blush coming from his cheeks as well. Gehirn had implied Nash was confused about it? And he did have a questioning look upon his face. She shot the Irish a mock scowl. She half whispered, but not so quietly that Nash couldn’t hear, “The boys are YOUR job, remember?” she teased before turning back to the bison, deciding to have a bit of mercy on the youth, “I am with child,” she said glancing at her belly again as if in explanation, “We are expecting a baby. Maybe two. Though I’m not sure,” she shifted on her dainty hooves, “They are due in about 3 cycles of the moon, as best as I can figure. Just in time for spring.” she smiled brightly, clearly excited and happy.
Gehirn chuckled. "Does it?
He laughed again when Herla realized who he had been speaking to. She seemed as surprised as him and, that was honestly not strange. Perhaps Gehirn had not realized how quick time had passed, the fawns they used to take under their wing were all young adults by now. Perhaps he had some extra wrinkles and gray hairs he did not know of yet. Disturbing thought.
"Tsk." He replied to Herla’s scowl, seemingly taking it with amusement. He listened her explaining at least a little, and also realized what she said about the time. Three cycles of the moon? Really, that seemed soon to him. Suddenly it seemed as if his face turned slightly more pale than usual. He wasn’t afraid of the fawn itself. No, it’d be a handful of course. He could prepare for that. But Herla had forced him to be there during the birth. And that was not his favorite daily event.
"Yes." He said, attention back to Nash. "I wonder though, do you perhaps not understand how fawns come to be?" An innocent tilt of the head was added to the question. Gehirn could be pretty straight forward about things if needed be, and Nash still seemed awkward and hiding something during the subject. But the stag did not know what seemed so alien to the younger one.

Ah, I see, you're taking it
You state in your bio your deer is a character and responds as such, thus I assume your deer is IC and responds to my deer as they would as a character. Actually, you are even defending your deer as a character and I agree; poor Sapphire! Gehirn is not very nice! But in a forest where everyone is wet "first come first serve" does not apply. It's "biggest/strongest/cleverest wins". Or, so it seems to me.
But yes, your deer is also a carnivore, you can expect other deer to reply to them as they -are-. If you don't want to be met with hostility, then having a predator deer is a bit of a risk. It didn't play a role as much here, perhaps had they been a small friendly doe Gehirn would've let them be. And I do think he knows Sapphire would not eat such a large deer, which is why he found them easier to chase out then a group in an oak.
Well I guess all is well. Her

Herla’s eyes were on Nash as she predicted the future due date but a sideways glance under the veil of her lashes caught the sudden draining of color from the Irish’s face and she couldn’t help the smirk that flashed across her features, knowing the discomfort he had about the upcoming birth. Mainly that he DIDN’T want to be there. But oh no, he wouldn’t be sneaking off to some Daddy lounge to smoke cigars while SHE was in labor. He was going to be there by her side and she’d made it very clear.
He seemed to regain his composure quickly though and was asking the young bison if he knew how fawns came to be. Now it was her turn to blanch. “Geh! she exclaimed as she saw Nash shift uncomfortably before them, looking away in obvious embarrassment, “Maybe you could have THAT talk with him later?” she said, turning back to the bison, she whispered loudly, “Don’t let him make you think he’s all that, he’s terrified to see the baby born you know,” she said giving the bison a wink. She still had a bit of a smirk on her face when she glanced at The Irish, but there was also a deep trust and love in her eyes. She knew he would be there and would be strong for her, no matter how hard it would be for him. Turning back to Nash, she said, “You are welcome to be there when the time comes, by the way, it will be a vulnerable time and frankly…we could use the guards.”
/bumps for Mis's sake.
A frown came upon his
When Herla mentioned the guards, he turned to look at Nash again. ”The lady makes a fine point. How strong are you anyway? Any experience fighting?” Couldn’t hurt to ask. He also figured a sparring match against the bull could be fun, though glancing at the others ‘antlers’, maybe a bit unfair. ”Though I doubt that’s what such a guard would need. We just need eyes to look out for potentional danger, hopefully there will be none.” Would the time come, though, he knew he would possibly need to leave Herla’s side to defend her instead. He just hoped it wouldn’t need to come of that.
Okay I feel really bad for
I think it's best if he talks to either one of them about what will happen..first, aha. I think it would be best if Nash wouldn't be scarred for life...<3
I'm sorry again. I feel so bad. /shoots self in foot

X"D I figured you didn't. It's quite okay. And we do want him scarred for life so, deal with it. HA. HAAA.
Kidding. But don't shoot yourself in the foot. Just give me the gun instead so I can do it.
