Family
Herla (Beloved, partner)Herla is Gehirn's chosen partner, after many relationships and failures on the Irish' part. They started out quite simply as friends, Gehirn having a partner thus anything further simply was not on their mind. And that was fine, for the longest time.
Over time, with his mate missing and his feelings for her fading, Gehirn's feelings towards Herla started to change. Realising he might yet again fall for another doe whilst mated, Gehirn broke up the relationship with his ex before starting anything with Herla. He wanted to be absolutely sure this time.
A time of self-exploration and no-promises started, still Herla sticked loyally to his side.
Their partnership was fluent and unforced. Never was there the moment the one asked the other to be their mate, no date to be celebrated every year.
Herla brings out the more carefree and happy side of Gehirn, as well as his insecurity's and protectiveness. His biggest fear is for harm to come to her or their children.
Gehirn adores Herla in every way, even if she keeps getting lost trying to find him. They got officially married in India.
Verve (First born daughter)Verve is Gehirn's first daughter, and his and Trees' child. Being a large fawn at birth, Verve easily survived winter and became a healthy, tall doe. She is a source of worry for Gehirn, as well as one of comfort. Having raised a daughter to be headstrong, individualistic and intelligent, Gehirn believes life can't really make it more difficult for him. Unless Herla births three girls, then he might contemplate suicide.(I genuinly wrote this before there was even talk of it being triplets. Poor guy)
Verve's view on life is quite different from his own, especially after her long trip to the savannah's outside the forest. Tries to respect her views, as long as she respects his. Close.
Johan (Son of him and Herla)A bit of a headstrong fellow, not unlike his mother Gehirn likes to think. The buck is often found in less-than-likeable company, monsters, predator's, other possible Johan-eaters. Those seem to be his favourites. Really, the buck has aged Gehirn by at least ten years. Gehirn fears Johan's judgement, and really wishes he'd try to hang out with bucks and does his age. And species, preferably. Has tried in the past to accept Johan's different choices in company, but after having to drag him out of trouble multiple times Gehirn has sort of given up. Very tired of the disrespect from the buck towards him and Herla, and very worried about the future.(Keeping that here for history's sake)
With the buck aging, he and his father got more onto one line. Events taught Johan what his parents really were so worried about, and a lot of his naïvety seems to have evolved in a more mature sense of self. Aware he seems interested in Herla's midwife-job, and there has been talk of Johan being taught the ins and outs of it. Perhaps any other father would've worried that made him seem too feminine. Thinks that's a bullshit mindset and is very proud of his son taking interest in such a proud job. Still really terrified of childbirth himself, so can't really help the buck there. Teaches him how to handle obnoxious deer though, how to defend himself and others if needed. Sees more and more of his own protective tendency in Johan.
Leto (Son of him and Herla)Much calmer than his brother, Leto gives the parents a lot less stress. Soft spoken and reliable, Leto doesn't seem to cause Gehirn as many gray hairs as his twin brothers. Human faced and bigger in size, Leto has a lot of the looks from his father. Which of course, pleases Gehirn. Especially seeing his nose being continued. Where would we be without.
Can see a lot of himself and Herla in the buck, he seems to take on other parts of both parents than his brother. Leto a lot more aloof like his father, yet as gentle as his mother. Watches him in amusement as he tries to keep groups of deer together, especially family.
Vasana (Daughter of him and Herla)Loud, energetic, likely trouble at a later age. Vasana reminds him a lot of himself in her rowdy behaivor. Very fond of her. The only one born pretty much healthy. Pretty aware she's large, wonders if she'll be competing with him and Verve for largest-family member. Really hoping she doesn't win. For her sake. Verve's ridicoulously tall, but don't tell her that.
Indira (Daughter of him and Herla)Born second, a very white, sickish little girl. Had some trouble recognising himself and Herla in her, since neither of them are white of fur. Figures there's likely a pale ancestor around, and is kind of curious of who's side that'd be on. Likely not his. Protective about the girl, dotes on her whenever he can. She has improved a lot on her walking, pretty hopeful about her future.
Neela (Daughter of him and Herla)The youngest, born close to dying in a sense. Extremely stressed at first if she'd make it, but Neela pulled through. Yet never uttered a word. As soon as she recovered a bit after their india-trip, he got to see who Neela really is. A tiny pest. Had a lot of trouble keeping her in-check and chasing her all over the forest. A bit worried at times they'll go through the same with her as they have with Johan. Has slowly been making process though, getting better at communicating with the mute girl. Especially now she can talk. Silently amused by her rowdy behaivor, even with a gentle mother as Herla it seems most his children can't help but take on him a little.
Ciel (Like a son, adoptive)The young stag had him quite concerned, even annoyed in the past. Always bringing Herla into trouble. The boy seemed to resurrect as a fawn once more, and had lost his memory. Very skeptical about this in the beginning, though it became clear Herla wanted to do everything in her power to make this second chance work. Decided to set his worries aside, and helped her out where he could.
Quickly became attatched to the young boy anyway, taking care of him as if one of his own together with Herla. Trusts the stag, he is a tremendous help to him and Herla in protecting and taking care of the children. Doesn't always sit on one line with him, and butts heads fairly often, but only because Gehirn doesn't let him sit on his ass moping.
Sonne (Son of him and Trees)Lost contact with. Never had much of contact with him to begin with, as his mother decided to raise him with a herd of wolves outside of the forest.
Close friends
Virgil (Beloved, source of conflict. †)An important, close relationship that held strongly for years.
The stag harboured many conflicts throughout their relationship, though continuously returned to one another. Loved the stag dearly, though became aware far too late they only ended up hurting eachother. Virgil passed away from old age after travelling outside of the forest through a broken portal. Recieved a tine upon his passing, though buried it a few weeks after.
Ravenflight (Beloved)When Ravenflight and Gehirn met, both were quite a lot younger. For years the two would meet on-and-off, getting into trouble and causing mischief. Making it into the newspaper with their drunken endeavours.
Ravenflight became a love interest for Gehirn, though he never voiced it. He watched as she ran off with another stag, who, in his eyes, was not worthy of her at all. Of course he was right, but things were too late then. And likely for the best. Both stubborn, headstrong and powerfully opinionated deer, Gehirn and Ravenflight would've made for a very clashy pair. Being friends suits Gehirn just fine, as he looks out for her constantly. The two fought by eachothers side, helped eachother through the deaths of beloveds, and saved eachothers lives.
Poltergeist (Close friend †)Even though his nature was completely opposite to the calm and loving Poltergeist, the two found a lot of rest in eachothers company. At times, the doe seemed wiser than the older stag.
As Trees adopted Poltergeist as her daughter, Gehirn never adopted Poltergeist as his own. Perhaps because he and Trees were not together back then, or because he knew Polts actual mother.
It seemed her death took a big toll on the stag, as Poltergeist died giving birth. Ever since, he has feared for pregnant does their lives, and seems extra protective about them.
EphiréGehirn was never too sure what to think of the quiet, reserved stag called Ephiré. Always unsure of other stags, especially those his size, it took him quite a while before he knew what to make of this one. Opposite to him, Ephiré is collected and calm, and has such an effect in turn on Gehirn. Got to know his more silly side too, and is ever so proud when he gets Ephiré to goof off or to behave a little less reserved. Ephiré could be considered Gehirn's closest male-friend right now, which is quite an achievement in Gehirn's eyes. Finds the stag has suprisingly soft lips.
Charges
Sterre (Charge/adoptive daughter)Since Gehirn used to be close to the does mother, he feels like it is up to him to support Sterre further on in her life. Has unfortunately not been able to see much of her previously, now hopes to change that. Finds her cheerfull attitude refreshing, likes to hang out with her. Keeps her close, even after her breakup with Ciel. Does not see how that should change his feelings towards her at all.
KaikiasAnother buck Gehirn has kept an eye on from the age of fawn. Gehirn is always very surprised by how much Kaikias knows from just actions, and not words. The young buck always being very helpful in protecting the group.
Proud of him, glad to be in his company and proud to regard him as one of his charges. Missing
CaerFound her as a young fawn together with Herla, and soon became a constant presence in their life. Watched her grow up into a young doe. Protective about her, looks out for her. Sees her less these days though, regrets that. Missing
ShoUnaware of his parents as they met, Gehirn quickly took the youngin under his wing whenever possible. Watched him grow into a stag as well, where he went his own way. The buck now seems hesistant upon joining Gehirn and his family, finds this a bit bothersome. Doesn't want to push him, but heck Sho! How difficult can it be! Seems the stag has forgotten about him and Herla. Has pretty much given up on him.
WaarhijdBeing his adoptive daughter in the past, Gehirn never could really set aside his fatherly feelings for her. Even though their relationship turned cold after he was tired of her irresponsibility, they were able to sort out their issues later on. Protects her whenever she needs it, and enjoys their conversations. Missing.
Friends
Isiel (Friendly acquaintance)Met through Herla, still somewhat new in the relationship but likes the doe's temper and general atmosphere. Somewhat hopes to get to know her better, seems like a sane one. Enjoys talking to her.
Ramsus (Errr)Difficult to describe. Ramsus started out as just another creep creeping on Herla, sold him a smack and a warning. It was free.
Only got more annoyed as he seemed to constantly need to stick his nose into his family's business. Johan already seeing him as a good friend and now even Herla started to have doubts. Grumble. They had the same goals and enemies though, so some form of alliance was born.
Doesn't see the stag as a danger anymore, even sort of enjoys his company. Finds him really difficult though. Has tried to see him in a more positive light, but can't get around the stag's general angry disposition.
JulietGehirn has always enjoyed the young doe’s company and playfulness, but also realizes she is Jack’s charge. Not getting along with the white stag at all, Gehirn keeps his distance from Juliet when he is about. Tends not to go to her, but wait for her to come to him. Their relationship has no pressure, enjoys her silent company. Missing
IaurdagnireHolds deep respect for the great stag named Iaurdagnire. Met him as a friend of Virgil's, and was greatly impressed. He does not fully understand what the blue stag goes through every season, but he tries his best to.
Learned of what seems to be the giant’s death, very confused but deeply concerned. Knows he is close to Ravenflight as well. Fought for his return together with many others. Likes to bother him, a good addition to "man-time".
DajhiDajhi is a doe that quickly grew to become a close friend of Gehirn. He loves to talk to her, tell her about his experiences in life. Ever since Dajhi got pregnant by her mate, Gehirn has been very protective about the doe, trying to help her wherever he can. He finds her to be a very sweet, calm doe whom often reminds him of Poltergeist. Missing.
Gustiro (Eeh?)Quite confused about this one, even though trying to help out the stag in the past to get over his own dislike.
Can at times not help but feel sorry for the stag. Thinks he's a big dork that gets into trouble too often and hangs out with a bad crowd. Missing.
Eraline (Acquaintance †)Never got to know her too well, saw parts of her stubbornness as well as her playful nature. Was mated to Ciel. Passed away.
Disliked
Djinn(Dislike)A young doe Gehirn has known since she was a fawn. Has grown protective about her and likes to keep her company. Likes to cheer her up. Finds she has a bad self esteem for the pretty doe she is.
Has once more taken her under his wing as she had a violent break up with her mate so to say.
Quite confused by her insisting on being with this stag anyway, after the abuse she suffered from him. Had to learn Herla had picked her as godmother of their children without being involved, does not blame Djinn for this but seems to have issues with the choice.
Again somewhat hit-in-the-face by her later, being let out of the decisions about her children their godparents entirely. Upset about this, has never recieved word of it afterwards either. Seems the doe is just assuming he is okay if he is quiet. Feeling cold towards her, as he gets the feeling he doesn't matter anyway.
AuroraGrew close to the doe suprisingly quick. Both are chatterboxes, though she thinks about life quite differently. They have an interesting time compairing philosophy's, but never clashing. Agreeing to disagree, Gehirn and Aurora find easy company in eachother. He likes to tease her, of course, and in a sense their relationship could be described as brother and sister.
Promised her times ago that he'd assist against fighting her demons. Apparantly unaware this could involve nearly killing his own daughter, sending Gehirn's mind down in a spiral of confusion and not knowing who to blame. Lost it when he figured Aurora didn't actually care about the wellbeing of his daughter(in his eyes), and chased her off. His hate and blame towards her only growing when it turned out his mate had been burdened with the choice to either let Verve die or give Aurora some torture-gem. Blames the doe for the state his family is in, with his mate pregnant and ill, and his daughter scarred over completely. Terrified this isn't the end of it, and by now no longer above killing the doe to end it all and give her demons their way. In the end threatened to kill her if she would ever come near his family again, effectively breaking up their bond. His family no longer at risk, her demon no longer having a target. Feels this is safest.
VaslaDefended Waarhijd against him. Doesn't know him otherwise, but initiually a dislike. Will protect anyone close to him from this figure.
Has lately heard the stag has been seen spying on Herla, and recently pulled Ciel away from a fight with him. Wary of.
RutilusUsed to be pretty close to the stag, having a lot of fun with him and Virgil. Their relationship turned colder when Gehirn split from his sister Taliene, but nevertheless they seemed to be able to resolve their issue.
Though during a disagreement with an overreactive Gehirn, Rutilus turned to Virgil in a rather suggestive way to anger Gehirn, and successfully. Gehirn’s stomach seems to turn whenever he spies the golden stag now, afraid he’d turn onto his other friends next when disagreeing with the irish.
Has come to dislike the stag after more disagreements and wordful bashes. Gone.
SorogThe first time the two met, Gehirn had attempted to perhaps learn to know this stag. No avail, the stag was stubborn and it became clear to Gehirn he only held interest in Herla. He warned him from the start not to hurt her, where the reddish stag got furious. In the end, it seemed Gehirn turned out to be right about this stag. Gehirn is not going to be up for second chances easily. Gone.
NightmareBarely had any confrontations with the stag, but by now knows better than to trust him. Despised for his low attacks on Herla. Seems gone.
SiannaHaving to defend Herla quite a few times against the doe, and having heard one too many stories, Gehirn does not tolerate the aggressive figure around those he cares about. He may also react very negatively to anyone who chooses to hang out with her, not understanding why anyone would like someone with such agressive tendencies. Does not keep in mind they may not know.
WalterNot likely to ever forgive the old stag for his random rampage against Ravenflight and himself. Has not come to terms with the stag and likely never will.
Sees him as a rapist, abuser and child-murderer.
Please keep in mind Gehirn has been an active character for over five years, which means some bonds will eventually dwindle if there is no interaction. This is nothing personal towards you as a person! If I forget someone though, feel free to tell me.

Ah! So HE'S the one Fikos
also, tracking (:
Ah yes! We've seen Fikos
Hello (: She's absolutly
She's absolutly figuratively in love with Gehirn.
haha, being so little, she looks up to everyone bigger than her.
That is so cute! XD Gehirn
That's good. She's been a bit
She has to go soon, so I'll toss in a quick rp:
Fikos wandered through the forest at a moderate run, too nervous to stay in one place for long. The chase yesterday had left her bruised, bumped, and terrified. Since then she hadn't seen a single deer she knew. She curled into a ball under a log and listened intently, smelling the air and flicking her ears.
She smelled the deer that Herla sits with. Herla trusted him, so Fik could too right? She hoped so.
Taking off again at a generous lope, she came to a hill that she regularly saw deer sitting one. The stag was up there. Nerves setting in, she slowed to a walk, and submissivly sniffed at him before burying her slight frame into his fluffy side.
Looking up at him, she squeaked:
"Hi. I'm Fikos. I see you around a lot."
(Aw that's alright! I read so
The stag had been resting on top of the hill for most of the day, first with Herla, later alone. From the corner of his eyes, he saw a dark, small figure coming closer. He recognised this one. Gehirn observed the fawn as she came to rest next to him. Why was she hurt?
"Hello Fikos, I think I've seen you around a lot as well. You keep Herla company, don't you? My name is Gehirn." He gave her a gentle smile. "Are you alright Fikos? You look a little hurt." He asked, observing her bruises. Who would hurt a fawn?
Her ears flattened and she
She was embarrassed about the other day.
Sighing, she tried to straighten up a little.
"Well. yesterday, I couldn't find anyone I knew. So I was just wandering around, trying to get used to where everything is in the forest. I passed a group of deer resting, so I bowed as I passed to be polite. I passed another deer, who I couldn't recognize at all, the smell, look, everything seemed foreign. So I bowed to him too, because I thought that's what I'm supposed to do, since I see other deer bow to each other all the time.
Well, I guess he didn't like it, because he started tearing up the grass, and snorting at me. And I didn't knwo what to do, so I just did it back curiously..." She paused here to sniff, and blink a few times. "He chased me all around and pushed me over with his head. I had to wiggle under a log to get away."
Tears welled in her eyes, but she kept her tiny chest puffed out and her head high. She wasn't about to beg for pity.
--gotta go! See you later!
Gehirn listened to the young
"Don't worry. Some deer are not right in the mind, but most won't harm you. Don't let it put you off." He observed her proud pose for a moment, and smiled. "Things like this make you stronger, I bet."
(see ya around! ^^)
She sniffed again,
"Right." she said. "He's just crazy. That's all. And yeah, I'm just gonna keep being polite, and hopefully no one else will try to eat me. Or something." The last part, she muttered more to herself.
She liked having someone to talk to, and the black stag listened really good, without treating her like a child. She arched her back in a stretch and flared her nostrils before settling back down to contemplate her new-found friend.
He was bigger than her, but he didn't treat her like she was little. Hm. Even though she was slightly shaken from her earlier chase, she felt at ease and safe. Doing her best to show how well she could cope with things, (becasue he would NEVER think she was tough unless she showed off) she leapt up and pranced lightly in a circle, getting a running start before doing her best to jump over his back, but her back legs brushed over his spine and sent her tumbling to the ground. She turned sheepish momentarily and shook the dirt off herself. Spinning around and croutching like a playful dog, she wiggled excitedly and took off again, this time almost clearing him. She caught herself this time, and merely tripped before spinning around again. On the thrid time she tucked her legs in tight and leapt over him. Trotting proudly around before settling back down to sit next to him.
--back! <3
The stag couldn't help but
Gehirn watched the small figure prance around him, glad she didn't seem discouraged by her wounds. Though he was utterly suprised when she suddenly jumped over him. He was rather massive, and he felt she hit his spine and fell on the ground. "Wow, are you alright?" The dark stag questioned. Though she soon seemed to succeed in her antics, and proceeded to sit next to him. He laughed. "Well well, alright. Seems you're in good condition anyway." He gave Fikos a nod.
His eyes carried around the landscape, breathing in the air above the hill. Thinking. In a moment of his thoughts, he looked at Fikos again and a smile came on his lips. "You're very fierce aren't you. You remind me of my daughter, she'd just go on after being hurt too. But do be careful, it's alright to rest."
"You have a daughter?" she
In fact she was in awe. She hadn't assumed anyone could be a parent, and while the big stag seemed like a likely canidate to a fawn, she assumed you had to be selected special.
"So, you have a daughter, so that means your daughter has a dad!" She exclaimed this last part, proud of her knowledge.
She snuggled into his side, taking his advice on the resting. Continuing on, she began to ramble. "Well, I don't have a dad. Or a mom. But if I did I bet I wouldn't get in trouble so much because then someone would teach me stuff and show me who to talk to and who to not talk to and who to play with and who to not play with and who was gonna eat me and who would not eat me and who would..." she paused to inhale, "..chase me and then I wouldn't accidentally walk too far into the pond because I can't swim but if I had a dad or mom maybe I COULD swim and if I could swim then I would accidentally walk too far!" Her voice had risen to an excited cheer at the end with the mention of being able to swim.
Her ramble turned into a more serious tone. "Well see, when I was a teeny baby there was this one big blue deer, and one smaller red one. The blue one was a boy and the red one was a girl. All I remember was that they took care of me for a few days, then Blue told me I had to get up and walk. I couldn't even talk yet! So Red tried to tell him I couldn't but he said something to her I didn't understand and she cried and then he yelled at me and started to leave so I used a tree to stand up and then I yelled my hardest at him but it was just a squeak." At this point she scowled. "He nodded at the Red and she ran away and I never saw her again after that. Then Blue started running and I tried running after but fell and couldn't get back up because then I was away from trees and bushes and had nothing to hide in. So I yelled for him over and over, but not using real words, just shouting, and he never came back either. So, I don't have a dad or mom."
Finishing, she sighed and slumped further into his fluffy side.
--luuulll sorry for the life-story posting.
Her confusion was somewhat
He was about to answer her suprise about how his daughter had a father, but the fawn was quicker explaining him her life story. She had no parents? That was always sad. She sure did have a lot of expectations of them though. It made him wonder of he teached his children all that. Gehirn grinned slightly at her enthosiasm, not even being able to breathe normally because she had to tell so much.
But even her tone turned serious, not even the young ones were without worries. "A blue and a red deer?" He asked with interest as she continued her story. She took several days before being able to walk? That seemed like a long time to Gehirn. Likely her parents abandoned her for their own sake. "But you were able to come here? Sounds like quite a rough start you had." The large black stag watched the small figure snuggle into him. She seemed content doing so.
"You know... I can't tell my daughter whom to hang out with and whom to avoid. That is for her to learn, as it is for you. And well, I can't teach her how to swim either, because I sink like a rock myself." He chuckled, nudging little Fikos with his nose. "But if you ever need advice, just ask. I can only give you the experiences I have had in my life, what I have learned. But in the end, we're all different. Even I am from my children." The giant hoped he made sense to the young doe. She seemed intelligent enough. "I am very sorry to hear this happend to you, those two deer abandoning you like that. But you are still alive, you made it on your own. Maybe you didn't need them."
(LOL no worries, Fikos is so cute! XD)
She sniffed at the silvery
"Yeah, I think I can't swim because I was a bad walker. Probably why I run slowish sorta too. But I'm good at walking now. But I can't swim. I wish I could swim. She leapt to her feet: "Once, I saw a moose!" before falling over and tumbling over herself. "I think. He was swimming." Her face scruntched up into a scowl once more "Maybe it was a moose. I'm not sure. He was real big. But you're real big too... her eyes widened and her voice hushed "...are you a moose?" She paused, mouth hanging open before snapping back to conversation. "But anyways, I don't have a dad, just that one blue deer for a while. Do you have a dad?
.
"Then perhaps, likely you can
At the question if he had a dad, the stag became quiet. He had to think of that one. "I suppose I do, we all do. I never knew my real father either, though, and I never found it important. I had an adoptive father." His eyes were fixated in the distance, at nothing in paticulair. That had been a long time ago, hadn't it? The last time he had seen his father.
"It doesn't really matter, you see. Adoptive or biological. It's the feeling that matters."
--sorry for being so late
Her large, dark eyes blinked at him when he grew more somber. She liked having a big deer to talk to that didn't lways wanna squish her around and show her to people. Hopefully she didn't make him sad.
"Adooptive. AAAAaadooooptive." she rolled the word around in her mouth. She didn't know what that meant. "Am I adoptive then? Because, you have a dad, but you said he wasn't a real dad, so he was...adoptive, and then so, uhm, I don't have a dad, so... wait are you adoptive too then?" She was utterly confused by the whole word. She didn't wait for him to answer "Right so, I'm adoptive. Then I'm not bliolol--, biloll--l, biological. I'm not biological then!" she cheered, "Then so, um, hm. Now does this mean I get a dad?" She looked up at the big stag. The tiny fawns eyes were filled with hope, she wanted so badly to have parents. Before he could answer she added: "Or, or a mom, I could have a mom too, or both. If I'm adoptive then do I get one?" The little fawn was near tears on this one, though her eyes hardly watered. The emotions surged through her little body, and she shook slightly with anticipation, anxiety, and nervousness. Blinking away any pestering tears, she sniffed and let her ears droop.

(Aah sorry here too XD I
It seemed he had used words far too big for her. Her struggeling with it made him grin a little. "Yes, I am. If a fawn is born from a doe, then the doe is it's biological mother. If the fawn is not born from the doe, but still thinks of her as it's mother, it's adopted." Perhaps that description made more sense for her. As long as the next question wasn't going to be about how that fawn got born. He shivered.
The giant looked at her as she seemed to get emotional. Oh no, what had he done this time? "Hey, don't cry now. It's alright." He nudged her cheek with his nose. This fawn really seemed to have a hard time without parents, and the irish wasn't entirely sure on what to do for her.
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to make you sad. Now, perhaps you will. Isn't there a doe, and perhaps even a stag you trust enough that you'd want to call them your parents? Maybe ask them." The Irish suggested her. He did not know whom that would be, whom the fawn hung out with mostly.
--aaamg. Fik's a spaz when it
Sniffing again and scowling once more, she went back to being tough. "Right. Someone I trust. Wait, if I adopted them, do I always have to adopt them? I can't ever un-adopt them? Well I don't know if I know anyone that well, to be always adopted to them." she didn't quite understand the word yet, but tried her hardest to use it in the correct way. She wanted to be smart when she grew up.
She flopped awkwardly onto her back, looking at Gehirn upside down now. "I really only know you, Darcy, Herla, uhh, I met Shika and Ceil once each, Quad, and Cypher. And I don't think I would be a good adopedetiveded fawn anyways." again, slaughtering the new word. "I don't know how to have parents." Twisting violently onto her stomach and accidentally rolling halfway down the hill, she shook herself off. She stumbled back up to where he was sitting and collapsed back onto the ground, blinked, stood back up, wiggled her way up onto Gehrin's back and curled up in a ball with a sigh.

She inhaled deeply and
She blinked a few times and rested her chin on the ground, sighing through her nostrils and puffing the grass around her. She was almost growing up. Did all grown ups worry so much? She looked up at Gehirn. "Was it hard for you to grow up?"
(Tracking. xD Hes
The giant watched her thump
His face turned to her as she asked him. "If it was hard for me to grow up?" He repeated the question. "Hm... Well." That required some thought.
"Yes, and, no. Growing up always knows hardships. I had no mother, I had no father. I felt lonely at times, and I was very different from the other fawns." He smiled at her. "You see, I was very large compaired to them. And when you're different, they bully you. But even then, I learned to know a doe whom loved me as her own, and so she became my mother. She had a mate whom also became very dear to me, he became my father. Together, they had a child, whom became my brother. And even though I was different, I was also stronger. I could do things the other fawns could not, though there were things I could not do as well. Crawl through small spaces, for example." The large irish straightened his posture for a moment. "It's never just easy. And it's never just hard, either. Just look at all the good things, and you'll see it's a lot easier than you think."

The deer watches the human-faced Irish elk with a great amount of sadness held within its being. Disheartened by the numerous failed attempts to approach him, it feels like it should just give up completely...on everything. Maybe it will never be with Herla again...maybe Darcy will always be mad at it, and so maybe will Gehirn always reject its company...maybe it is for the best. Would Gehirn know? But he seems angry. His answers might be spat out at the deer, his words full of spite.
The deer sighs and lies down, continuing to watch Gehirn. Waiting for him to notice it, hoping he will try to talk to it, instead of simply just walking away.
I love his new reference

The other one's presence seemed to unnerve the Irish. After all, they seemed to have been the cause of all his stress yesterday. Herla's broken heart, Virgil ignoring his demands, and finally the deer had proven Virgil to be right. And Gehirn to be wrong.
And now he blamed Infinity for his argument with Virgil. His mood was terribly bad, his mind racing.
But the company of an antlered doe seemed to calm him down significantly. His balance and stability, the doe Trees, had chosen a good time to come and pop up. But Gehirn's eyes constantly turned to keep a check on Infinity. If she would choose to attack Trees, the Irish would be capable of deeds no god could ever approve of.
So he kept a close eye on her. After all, it seemed he had been wrong in his judgement to trust her. And once broken, it was hard to regain.
Corell:
Why thank you~! His anatomy is a bit off in parts, I've noticed. So annoying. I'm too lazy to change it 8/
0's mind continues to change
0's mind continues to change between two thoughts:
It is not my fault and it is all my fault.
"I did not mean it," it wants to say to everyone it has hurt, but wonders if it is really true. "I did not try to hurt anyone."
1 meant it. He meant to cause trouble. Not for the forest, not for any of its residents--oh, no--but for 0 and 0 alone. For the stranger. For the odd, for the weird, for the one who should not belong, never will belong. Ever. He means to force havoc upon it. He means to keep it alone and in the dark.
0's eyes cloud with tears it supposedly should not have. It turns its face away, not wanting the angered Gehirn to see it cry; yet the soft, almost imperceptible sobs wrack its body, forcing its whole body to tremble in mental agony and dismay.
Finally, 0 stands and begins to wobble unsteadily away. "Everyone," it whispers, "I am sorry."

And before he can scream this at them, Trees stands up. She sees through him, she knows, and asks the two to leave. Not now, would the answer be, Gehirn can not answer you now. But they insisted and Gehirn's patience runs dry.
He observes 0's sadness for a moment. Unsure of what to do with it or how to respond. Was she sorrowfull now? After all, she had not been agressive in the past... But Trees is stubborn, and guides him away again. Breaking his thoughts. Today he needs to think about himself, and not about the sorrows of another. It was up to him to do what he told another to do: Heal yourself first, before attempting to help another.

"Don't be sorry, it's quite alright. I understand your curiousity... Do you know why I am mad with them?" He asked, he wasn't sure if she had any understanding of what had been going on. Gehirn lowered himself to nuzzle Fikos behind her ear. "You can come to me when you feel scared, alright? I will take care of you."

I needed an antler comparison so I hope you don't mind I used Gehirn as a guinea pig
The antlers Quad is wearing now are supposed to be 'pre-zombie' antlers.
