Chicken for dinner.

-----Gone from the forest! I just wanted to fix the css. Sorry! Not altering anything else, this last update was cute.-------

Was simply sitting with his family when Neela accidentally cast everyone to the land before time.

The unlucky one of the bunch. Hit his head on landing, and passed most of the time being unconcious. Yes. You might want to read other updates if whatever happend interests you.

Woke up to two Neela's, who seemed a little panicked as they attempted to wake him up. Eugh. It's still early. Regardless, the kid was persistent, and finally tried to make sense of what she was saying. Something about a giant beast, and a knife, and all sorts of kids stuff. Pft. Did wonder where they were and where Herla had gone, though.

Mostly waved whatever she was telling off as fantasies, though it was odd the season had changed since his nap. Tried to calm her down, and waited with the child until both Herla and Verve were back. And his brain was back in place.

Apparantly they were invisible for a moment too, which did not help things.

Suggested they find water, which they then did. Relieved his eldest daughter was around, and was part giraffe or something. She kept a good eye on the environment. And ridiculously long ear, too.
Got to silently think as they walked, Herla leading. Even with her terrible sense of direction, water she was well able to find. Regardless, seemed to experience the place as more open than the forest. Less, blocking.. Made a comment about them 'being alright' when Herla said something about making a fire to scare off the monsters. Likely didn't need to make a fire.

Watched his daughters work together to figure out the way back, though kept a good eye on the environment. Golden mask back on. Heard a twig snap, stomped towards the bush to scare off whatever it was. A small, bird-like creature sprinted off from behind it. Dissapointing. That looked pretty edible.

The moment Neela succeeded in casting the spell, a whole bunch of the damn things jumped out of the bush at the family. Shielded them with his antlers, and returned to the endless forest with sharp toothed chickens hanging from his antlers.
Proceeded to slaughter them all with his daughter and wife.
The end.

Hello (:
She's absolutly figuratively in love with Gehirn.
haha, being so little, she looks up to everyone bigger than her.
Mis's picture

That is so cute! XD Gehirn

That is so cute! XD Gehirn doesn't mind, she seems like a nice kid. He tends to get protective about the young ones!

That's good. She's been a bit

That's good. She's been a bit shaken lately so the fact that he's the same height as her when she's standing and he's sitting helps too!
She has to go soon, so I'll toss in a quick rp:

Fikos wandered through the forest at a moderate run, too nervous to stay in one place for long. The chase yesterday had left her bruised, bumped, and terrified. Since then she hadn't seen a single deer she knew. She curled into a ball under a log and listened intently, smelling the air and flicking her ears.

She smelled the deer that Herla sits with. Herla trusted him, so Fik could too right? She hoped so.
Taking off again at a generous lope, she came to a hill that she regularly saw deer sitting one. The stag was up there. Nerves setting in, she slowed to a walk, and submissivly sniffed at him before burying her slight frame into his fluffy side.

Looking up at him, she squeaked:

"Hi. I'm Fikos. I see you around a lot."
Mis's picture

(Aw that's alright! I read so

(Aw that's alright! I read so in her bio, aw! Poor girl.)

The stag had been resting on top of the hill for most of the day, first with Herla, later alone. From the corner of his eyes, he saw a dark, small figure coming closer. He recognised this one. Gehirn observed the fawn as she came to rest next to him. Why was she hurt?
"Hello Fikos, I think I've seen you around a lot as well. You keep Herla company, don't you? My name is Gehirn." He gave her a gentle smile. "Are you alright Fikos? You look a little hurt." He asked, observing her bruises. Who would hurt a fawn?

Her ears flattened and she

Her ears flattened and she shrunk into herself a little.
She was embarrassed about the other day.

Sighing, she tried to straighten up a little.

"Well. yesterday, I couldn't find anyone I knew. So I was just wandering around, trying to get used to where everything is in the forest. I passed a group of deer resting, so I bowed as I passed to be polite. I passed another deer, who I couldn't recognize at all, the smell, look, everything seemed foreign. So I bowed to him too, because I thought that's what I'm supposed to do, since I see other deer bow to each other all the time.
Well, I guess he didn't like it, because he started tearing up the grass, and snorting at me. And I didn't knwo what to do, so I just did it back curiously..."
She paused here to sniff, and blink a few times. "He chased me all around and pushed me over with his head. I had to wiggle under a log to get away."

Tears welled in her eyes, but she kept her tiny chest puffed out and her head high. She wasn't about to beg for pity.

--gotta go! See you later!

Gehirn listened to the young

Gehirn listened to the young doe's story with interest. "You are right, polite deer bow to eachother. I do not see how you could have done anything wrong." He tried to reassure her. "I am sorry this happend to you. Hopefully that stag gets what he deserves. He shouldn't have hurt you." The dark stag's ears dropped a bit, worried for the small doe. What'd she think of strangers now after being chased by one so relentlessly.
"Don't worry. Some deer are not right in the mind, but most won't harm you. Don't let it put you off." He observed her proud pose for a moment, and smiled. "Things like this make you stronger, I bet."

(see ya around! ^^)

She sniffed again,

She sniffed again, scowling.

"Right." she said. "He's just crazy. That's all. And yeah, I'm just gonna keep being polite, and hopefully no one else will try to eat me. Or something." The last part, she muttered more to herself.

She liked having someone to talk to, and the black stag listened really good, without treating her like a child. She arched her back in a stretch and flared her nostrils before settling back down to contemplate her new-found friend.

He was bigger than her, but he didn't treat her like she was little. Hm. Even though she was slightly shaken from her earlier chase, she felt at ease and safe. Doing her best to show how well she could cope with things, (becasue he would NEVER think she was tough unless she showed off) she leapt up and pranced lightly in a circle, getting a running start before doing her best to jump over his back, but her back legs brushed over his spine and sent her tumbling to the ground. She turned sheepish momentarily and shook the dirt off herself. Spinning around and croutching like a playful dog, she wiggled excitedly and took off again, this time almost clearing him. She caught herself this time, and merely tripped before spinning around again. On the thrid time she tucked her legs in tight and leapt over him. Trotting proudly around before settling back down to sit next to him.

The stag couldn't help but

The stag couldn't help but snort when she mentioned eating her. "They won't." Although even that could not be said for sure anymore in this forest. What was it coming to.
Gehirn watched the small figure prance around him, glad she didn't seem discouraged by her wounds. Though he was utterly suprised when she suddenly jumped over him. He was rather massive, and he felt she hit his spine and fell on the ground. "Wow, are you alright?" The dark stag questioned. Though she soon seemed to succeed in her antics, and proceeded to sit next to him. He laughed. "Well well, alright. Seems you're in good condition anyway." He gave Fikos a nod.
His eyes carried around the landscape, breathing in the air above the hill. Thinking. In a moment of his thoughts, he looked at Fikos again and a smile came on his lips. "You're very fierce aren't you. You remind me of my daughter, she'd just go on after being hurt too. But do be careful, it's alright to rest."

"You have a daughter?" she

"You have a daughter?" she asked, drawing out the last word. "So you're a dad?" She didn't intend to sound so disbelieving, simply because she didn't think everyone could be, or have, a mother or father.
In fact she was in awe. She hadn't assumed anyone could be a parent, and while the big stag seemed like a likely canidate to a fawn, she assumed you had to be selected special.

"So, you have a daughter, so that means your daughter has a dad!" She exclaimed this last part, proud of her knowledge.

She snuggled into his side, taking his advice on the resting. Continuing on, she began to ramble. "Well, I don't have a dad. Or a mom. But if I did I bet I wouldn't get in trouble so much because then someone would teach me stuff and show me who to talk to and who to not talk to and who to play with and who to not play with and who was gonna eat me and who would not eat me and who would..." she paused to inhale, "..chase me and then I wouldn't accidentally walk too far into the pond because I can't swim but if I had a dad or mom maybe I COULD swim and if I could swim then I would accidentally walk too far!" Her voice had risen to an excited cheer at the end with the mention of being able to swim.

Her ramble turned into a more serious tone. "Well see, when I was a teeny baby there was this one big blue deer, and one smaller red one. The blue one was a boy and the red one was a girl. All I remember was that they took care of me for a few days, then Blue told me I had to get up and walk. I couldn't even talk yet! So Red tried to tell him I couldn't but he said something to her I didn't understand and she cried and then he yelled at me and started to leave so I used a tree to stand up and then I yelled my hardest at him but it was just a squeak." At this point she scowled. "He nodded at the Red and she ran away and I never saw her again after that. Then Blue started running and I tried running after but fell and couldn't get back up because then I was away from trees and bushes and had nothing to hide in. So I yelled for him over and over, but not using real words, just shouting, and he never came back either. So, I don't have a dad or mom."

Finishing, she sighed and slumped further into his fluffy side.

--luuulll sorry for the life-story posting.

Her confusion was somewhat

Her confusion was somewhat flattering to him. At her expression, he couldn't help but laugh. "Haha, yes love I am. Why so suprised? Don't I look old enough to be a father? Look." He said, lowering his head for her. "See those gray hairs? They're caused by my children doing something to scare me." A smirk as he lifted up his head. Oh, he could number many more causes then that for those. One of them surely would be dedicated to Herla and her wounds.

He was about to answer her suprise about how his daughter had a father, but the fawn was quicker explaining him her life story. She had no parents? That was always sad. She sure did have a lot of expectations of them though. It made him wonder of he teached his children all that. Gehirn grinned slightly at her enthosiasm, not even being able to breathe normally because she had to tell so much.

But even her tone turned serious, not even the young ones were without worries. "A blue and a red deer?" He asked with interest as she continued her story. She took several days before being able to walk? That seemed like a long time to Gehirn. Likely her parents abandoned her for their own sake. "But you were able to come here? Sounds like quite a rough start you had." The large black stag watched the small figure snuggle into him. She seemed content doing so.
"You know... I can't tell my daughter whom to hang out with and whom to avoid. That is for her to learn, as it is for you. And well, I can't teach her how to swim either, because I sink like a rock myself." He chuckled, nudging little Fikos with his nose. "But if you ever need advice, just ask. I can only give you the experiences I have had in my life, what I have learned. But in the end, we're all different. Even I am from my children." The giant hoped he made sense to the young doe. She seemed intelligent enough. "I am very sorry to hear this happend to you, those two deer abandoning you like that. But you are still alive, you made it on your own. Maybe you didn't need them."

(LOL no worries, Fikos is so cute! XD)

She sniffed at the silvery

She sniffed at the silvery hairs he pointed out, and stretched out on her side.
"Yeah, I think I can't swim because I was a bad walker. Probably why I run slowish sorta too. But I'm good at walking now. But I can't swim. I wish I could swim. She leapt to her feet: "Once, I saw a moose!" before falling over and tumbling over herself. "I think. He was swimming." Her face scruntched up into a scowl once more "Maybe it was a moose. I'm not sure. He was real big. But you're real big too... her eyes widened and her voice hushed "...are you a moose?" She paused, mouth hanging open before snapping back to conversation. "But anyways, I don't have a dad, just that one blue deer for a while. Do you have a dad?

.

.
Mis's picture

"Then perhaps, likely you can

"Then perhaps, likely you can swim later on too. Practice in the shallow parts, and breathe in deeply. You'll float by yourself you'll notice." Gehirn continued to listen to her story. A moose huh? "Oh no, I'm not a moose. I'm a.. Hm.. They call me the Irish because I resemble an irish elk. But if I was, I wouldn't have a flat face, hm? But I guess he was lucky then. I guess I could swim.. But it'd cost me so much energy." Having to keep those antlers up whilst standing wasn't usually much of a strain. But when swimming, he had no support under his hooves whatsoever.

At the question if he had a dad, the stag became quiet. He had to think of that one. "I suppose I do, we all do. I never knew my real father either, though, and I never found it important. I had an adoptive father." His eyes were fixated in the distance, at nothing in paticulair. That had been a long time ago, hadn't it? The last time he had seen his father.
"It doesn't really matter, you see. Adoptive or biological. It's the feeling that matters."

--sorry for being so late

--sorry for being so late with this. School.--

Her large, dark eyes blinked at him when he grew more somber. She liked having a big deer to talk to that didn't lways wanna squish her around and show her to people. Hopefully she didn't make him sad.
"Adooptive. AAAAaadooooptive." she rolled the word around in her mouth. She didn't know what that meant. "Am I adoptive then? Because, you have a dad, but you said he wasn't a real dad, so he was...adoptive, and then so, uhm, I don't have a dad, so... wait are you adoptive too then?" She was utterly confused by the whole word. She didn't wait for him to answer "Right so, I'm adoptive. Then I'm not bliolol--, biloll--l, biological. I'm not biological then!" she cheered, "Then so, um, hm. Now does this mean I get a dad?" She looked up at the big stag. The tiny fawns eyes were filled with hope, she wanted so badly to have parents. Before he could answer she added: "Or, or a mom, I could have a mom too, or both. If I'm adoptive then do I get one?" The little fawn was near tears on this one, though her eyes hardly watered. The emotions surged through her little body, and she shook slightly with anticipation, anxiety, and nervousness. Blinking away any pestering tears, she sniffed and let her ears droop.

(Aah sorry here too XD I

(Aah sorry here too XD I actually forgot. Sigh 8/ XDD)

It seemed he had used words far too big for her. Her struggeling with it made him grin a little. "Yes, I am. If a fawn is born from a doe, then the doe is it's biological mother. If the fawn is not born from the doe, but still thinks of her as it's mother, it's adopted." Perhaps that description made more sense for her. As long as the next question wasn't going to be about how that fawn got born. He shivered.
The giant looked at her as she seemed to get emotional. Oh no, what had he done this time? "Hey, don't cry now. It's alright." He nudged her cheek with his nose. This fawn really seemed to have a hard time without parents, and the irish wasn't entirely sure on what to do for her.
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to make you sad. Now, perhaps you will. Isn't there a doe, and perhaps even a stag you trust enough that you'd want to call them your parents? Maybe ask them." The Irish suggested her. He did not know whom that would be, whom the fawn hung out with mostly.

--aaamg. Fik's a spaz when it

--aaamg. Fik's a spaz when it comes to emotional rollercoasters.--

Sniffing again and scowling once more, she went back to being tough. "Right. Someone I trust. Wait, if I adopted them, do I always have to adopt them? I can't ever un-adopt them? Well I don't know if I know anyone that well, to be always adopted to them." she didn't quite understand the word yet, but tried her hardest to use it in the correct way. She wanted to be smart when she grew up.

She flopped awkwardly onto her back, looking at Gehirn upside down now. "I really only know you, Darcy, Herla, uhh, I met Shika and Ceil once each, Quad, and Cypher. And I don't think I would be a good adopedetiveded fawn anyways." again, slaughtering the new word. "I don't know how to have parents." Twisting violently onto her stomach and accidentally rolling halfway down the hill, she shook herself off. She stumbled back up to where he was sitting and collapsed back onto the ground, blinked, stood back up, wiggled her way up onto Gehrin's back and curled up in a ball with a sigh.
Mis's picture

"Hmm.. Such is a very

"Hmm.. Such is a very important decision. One doesn't just "un-adopt" another. Not without a good reason that is..." Right? His own reason had been good right? He didn't need to feel guilty for that right now. "Ofcourse you would be a good adoptive fawn. Don't doubt yourself. You know, if I were you, I'd just take my time. Don't hurry, such choices are important. And you know, many go without parents, good friends can help a lot as well." He nodded. He didn't want to push the fawn into something she didn't want to do. The giant let out a slight chuckle as she rolled away for a moment. Then watched her curl up on his back. Gehirn yawned for a moment, seemingly getting tired. He tried to eye the fawn on his back, making sure she was comfortable. Keeping as still as he could.

She inhaled deeply and

She inhaled deeply and sighed, too fast apparently, as she slid off to one side and thumped lightly on the ground. Not bothering to get up she asked "But, how long should I wait? And how do I know if I even get to have adopativeded parents or not? Who decides?" her tone was light and curious, but her thoughts were all racing. Why didn't she already have parents? Who would adopt her? What was adopting anyways? Why was Gehirn so big? Why was she so small? Why couldn't she swim? How come other fawns get more attention than her? Was something wrong with her? Did they have parents? Is that why they were liked more? Would anyone EVER adopt her? If she was ignored by all the big deer, how would she find someone to be her dad? Did she even want a dad? Or a mom? What was a mom's job anyways? Red always told her to be polite and pretty. Is that a mom's job? Was Red her mom? Was Blue her dad? Did they know who she was now? If she met them, would they recognize her? Would they be proud of her walking? Did they even remember her?

She blinked a few times and rested her chin on the ground, sighing through her nostrils and puffing the grass around her. She was almost growing up. Did all grown ups worry so much? She looked up at Gehirn. "Was it hard for you to grow up?"

The giant watched her thump

The giant watched her thump on the ground with a painful expression. Surely she bounced around a lot. "You. And you wait until you are absolutely sure. Your heart will tell you." He smiled, lowering his head to nudge the fawn's cheek. "Believe me, you will know." He nodded, lifting his head up again. There were matters there were no calculations for. No dates, no set waiting time. Just a feeling. And as abstract as that sounded, it was the most clear way of knowing something was right.
His face turned to her as she asked him. "If it was hard for me to grow up?" He repeated the question. "Hm... Well." That required some thought.
"Yes, and, no. Growing up always knows hardships. I had no mother, I had no father. I felt lonely at times, and I was very different from the other fawns." He smiled at her. "You see, I was very large compaired to them. And when you're different, they bully you. But even then, I learned to know a doe whom loved me as her own, and so she became my mother. She had a mate whom also became very dear to me, he became my father. Together, they had a child, whom became my brother. And even though I was different, I was also stronger. I could do things the other fawns could not, though there were things I could not do as well. Crawl through small spaces, for example." The large irish straightened his posture for a moment. "It's never just easy. And it's never just hard, either. Just look at all the good things, and you'll see it's a lot easier than you think."

Her ears flicked backwards "You're big and strong, but you were buillied. You can't swim either, and you can't crawl under stuff." she then withdrew slightly from the defiant tone she had been using, glancing down, she more-so muttered "I don't have a mom. I don't have a dad. I'm not anyones sister. I don't have a daughter, or... anyone who loves me." Her voice caught here, and she swallowed hard before going on. "I'm small and not-strong, but I run into stuff a lot without getting hurt, and I'm bullied too. I can't swim, but I can crawl under stuff. So that's stuff that's kinda the same. Good things I have are... uh..I don't have big antlers, so I could maybe learn how to swim, and..uhm.. I can usually run faster than a moose, so it can't eat me.. and..hm. He eyed the bumps on her head. "Ah. I knew a doe who grew similair antlers. She became very strong of heart and loved. Not that her antlers had anything to do with that... But you remind me of her. She was also alone." He lowered his head to look at the young doe. "I know. I don't like it either, I rather enjoy still being childish at times. And so can you, even when you're grown up and big." Gehirn smiled at her. "Maybe you should try to worry a little less, and enjoy your time as you're still young. There will be plenty of time to worry later, hm?"

The deer watches the human-faced Irish elk with a great amount of sadness held within its being. Disheartened by the numerous failed attempts to approach him, it feels like it should just give up completely...on everything. Maybe it will never be with Herla again...maybe Darcy will always be mad at it, and so maybe will Gehirn always reject its company...maybe it is for the best. Would Gehirn know? But he seems angry. His answers might be spat out at the deer, his words full of spite.

The deer sighs and lies down, continuing to watch Gehirn. Waiting for him to notice it, hoping he will try to talk to it, instead of simply just walking away.

The other one's presence seemed to unnerve the Irish. After all, they seemed to have been the cause of all his stress yesterday. Herla's broken heart, Virgil ignoring his demands, and finally the deer had proven Virgil to be right. And Gehirn to be wrong.
And now he blamed Infinity for his argument with Virgil. His mood was terribly bad, his mind racing.
But the company of an antlered doe seemed to calm him down significantly. His balance and stability, the doe Trees, had chosen a good time to come and pop up. But Gehirn's eyes constantly turned to keep a check on Infinity. If she would choose to attack Trees, the Irish would be capable of deeds no god could ever approve of.
So he kept a close eye on her. After all, it seemed he had been wrong in his judgement to trust her. And once broken, it was hard to regain.

0's mind continues to change between two thoughts:
It is not my fault and it is all my fault.

"I did not mean it," it wants to say to everyone it has hurt, but wonders if it is really true. "I did not try to hurt anyone."

1 meant it. He meant to cause trouble. Not for the forest, not for any of its residents--oh, no--but for 0 and 0 alone. For the stranger. For the odd, for the weird, for the one who should not belong, never will belong. Ever. He means to force havoc upon it. He means to keep it alone and in the dark.

0's eyes cloud with tears it supposedly should not have. It turns its face away, not wanting the angered Gehirn to see it cry; yet the soft, almost imperceptible sobs wrack its body, forcing its whole body to tremble in mental agony and dismay.

Finally, 0 stands and begins to wobble unsteadily away. "Everyone," it whispers, "I am sorry."

The giant gets up as both the genderless and Rutilus try to approach him and Trees. It distresses him, he shakes his head violently, trying to get rid of the aching thoughts he does not want. There is too much, just too much.
And before he can scream this at them, Trees stands up. She sees through him, she knows, and asks the two to leave. Not now, would the answer be, Gehirn can not answer you now. But they insisted and Gehirn's patience runs dry.

He observes 0's sadness for a moment. Unsure of what to do with it or how to respond. Was she sorrowfull now? After all, she had not been agressive in the past... But Trees is stubborn, and guides him away again. Breaking his thoughts. Today he needs to think about himself, and not about the sorrows of another. It was up to him to do what he told another to do: Heal yourself first, before attempting to help another.

The tiny doe sprang eagerly

The tiny doe sprang eagerly up the hill, spotting Gehirn's large figure from a ways a way. She laughed and squealed Gehirn!" as she pranced around him. Celebrating in her new-found adulthood, she strut in a circle, showing off her now rounded-out body and long antenne draping down her neck. "Look! I'm bigger!" She rejoiced, even though she was still pathetically small. "It's wonderful! I'm grown up!"

Unlike the bouncy, cheerfull doe, the black Irish sat. His expression was something one could hardly call cheerfull. Upon seeing the small doe approach, his ears lifted up into her direction. Stretching his neck slightly, as if to see further. "Fikos?" He answered her eager call with doubt. She had indeed grown! "Fikos! You are! You look beautiful, if I may say so." A smile was shown on his lips, not a fake one either. Still worry plagued the stag. Atleast the small doe seemed happy now. He watched her strut around proudly. "Yep, very much so. You've really turned into a pretty doe, haven't you?"

She took a moment to notice how, quiet he seemed. "Uhh, yeah!" she laughed hesitantly. "Thanks. uhh.. are you okay? You seem, down. Sorta. Well maybe I'm just imagining it." She sat down next to him. Listening for other recognizable deer.

"Oh, well, okay. If you need to talk, I'ma good listener!" She smiled. Fikos flopped onto her side, sandwiched between Gehirn and a tree. She may technically be an adult, but she didn't have to always act like one. The little doe had been romping pretty hard, celebrating mostly with herself, so she welcomed the break. She nudged hernose toward the sleeping deer next to them. "So, whose your friend?"

He turned to look at his other companion as Fikos asked her question. "This is Buttons. I saw her being chased, so I interfered. I don't like it when big deer think they can just gain entertainment from anything smaller than them. Rather weak, don't you think?"

Fikos thundered as fast as

Fikos thundered as fast as her little legs would carry her, desperatly charging toward Gehirn. Panting and unable to speak, she pawed at the ground, facing the offender, and cowering to show her point. Gaining her speech she panted "tTe deer...you're mad at... was sitting by me... and now.. I, I'm scared. He's scary and... I'm sorry for...talking to it, but, I didn't wanna...seem mean and now it's gonna follow me and I'm sorry. He didn't hurt me..or anything.. but I'm scared." She buried her face in his fluff with a thump. She muttered a muffled "I'm sorry Gehirn." Before trying to show him what she was talking about, pulling him toward where the deer was so he could see she wasn't making it up.

At Fikos' distressed

At Fikos' distressed behaivor, the giant immediatly got up. "What's the matter?" He asked worriedly. The stag continued to listen to her as she gathered enough breath to speak. Deer he's mad at? 0. Had they hurt Fikos? His blood started to boil already. But she spoke on.
"Don't be sorry, it's quite alright. I understand your curiousity... Do you know why I am mad with them?" He asked, he wasn't sure if she had any understanding of what had been going on. Gehirn lowered himself to nuzzle Fikos behind her ear. "You can come to me when you feel scared, alright? I will take care of you."

I needed an antler comparison

I needed an antler comparison so I hope you don't mind I used Gehirn as a guinea pig Eye

The antlers Quad is wearing now are supposed to be 'pre-zombie' antlers.

Oh no no problem! I read so somewhere that those were his pre-zombie antlers, I find them a very clever choice! XD They do really have a smilair shape.

Hardly moving an inch to

Hardly moving an inch to rouse him from his sleep, the feathered doe sat beside him, their damp, wet fur touching. It generated a warmthness, yet still maintained that uncomfortable feeling that one gets from the rain. Her Feathers drenched and tattered she sighed to herself. She watched the water drip off the playground cave, forming a transparent viel of water, distorting the life outside it. Lowering her doe face to his neck, she licked it gently, in the same manner a doe would to a fawn. "Oh Gehirn..." She sighed to herslef. That distorted world was far too much for the both of them. Resting her head on top of his neck, and slowly drifting to sleep with him.
