Updates september 27th, 2022;
Fixing a lot of stuff around on bios while I try to get back into things <3
Tried to get back into TEF last year as well, but then my dog's health declined and in the beginning of december last year she had to be put down, my best friend for close to 15 years.
This took such a heavy toll on me and I think was a major reason for why I was unable to get back into TEF. But yeah, new attempt! So if you ever spot any of my characters in the forest, pls don't be afraid to say hello to them or poke me on discord or something <3

Hpf.... strange forest is
Indeed. x'D
"Yew protected Cry fer a
His little brother meant everything to him, and witnessing his own murderer stand over him gave him some mixed feelings.
"Thank yew... really..." he muttered.
Anf with that, he gained a a few bits of trust. Not much, but a start, to say the least.
Illrose was standing on
"Yeah. It seem to have become a habit lately; instead of chasing those little deer I'm protecting them." She replied, almost embarrassed when she said this. She wanted to be a fighter, a predator like Ren, but the forest seemed persistent to turn her into something else, something better. She nodded.
"You are welcome." She smiled slightly, a smile hidden behind the skull mask. She then sat down, to rest until - or if - Ren returned to cause more chaos.
As she talked, he looked over
"Good, do it more often. Bastard killed my husband." he growled, whipping his head back to face her.
"Sorry I didn't help out as much though..." he sighed, flicking the nub of his ear. "Much as I wanna tear him a new one... I can't fight as much now... or ever, really..." he huffed, looking back at her guiltily, even shamefully.
I'm jumping in to add that
I've got permission for Ren to bother Snow but not Illrose.
While speaking, Illrose
"What? Rosine is dead?" She didn't had much to do with him, other than the one time she chased him a long time ago. Still, she didn't hold any grudges against Jergens anymore - figuring out Jack was the one responsible that one time, pushing Jergens far enough to kill him - and she didn't wish for him to feel the pain he without doubt felt by losing his loved one.
"I'm sorry to hear that." She added shortly after, with a sincere tone. She then had to smile again.
"To be honest, I'm just glad you let me fight. I've had enough of stags that tells me to stay back while they do the fighting." She said, before frowning for a moment.
"You can't? Why is that?"
Draak;
Oh darn, I forgot you were doing it that way. If I had remembered, Illrose wouldn't have been that persistent, I'm sorry. xD
Well, you have permission to fight/ whatever with Illrose as well. :b
XD it's ok :B *adds* |D

"Mm... Fuckin' mutt bit him." he nearly hissed out. "Brother-in-law too... Well... I dunno what happened to him but..." I found both their bodies., he choked up unable finish the sentence, rather just going on to her next statement, completely ignoring what he considered to be a grade-A half-assed apology.
"I'm not a fuckin' meathead like most the bastards in this goddamn forest." he chuckled flatly, emotionlessly. "Even I know when I can't do much compared to other guys or chicks or its... much as it pisses me off." he snorted, blinking a bit before answering her last question. "It's kinda easy to kick my ass now since I got a huge blind spot." he rotated his face round, displaying his empty eye socket and torn ear, curtesy of Mr. Smiling Jack. "Not to mention my antlers suck." he added in, grimicing.
Illrose didn't know what to
"Wise thinking." She then flinched for a moment when he turned his face, revealing his missing eye. She did really know about his injuries, but when looking at the other side of his face, she had forgotten about them.
"I see." She said, lifting her gaze to his antlers as he mentioned them.
"But your antlers will grow in size again, won't they? After a while?"
"Wise?" he snorted. "It
"Yeah... They'll grow back, but I'll still be fucked up..." he cast his eye downward, then back up, narrowing it. "Besides, I'm a shitty fighter. Yew know that." he remarked, though the tone of his voice was more neutral than accusing. Banter or not, it was going to take a lot more than that little demonstration for Illrose to gain back the shred of trust that he had for her in the first place.
"For some, it obviously do.
"Yeah, I know." Her tone was casual, as if they were talking about the weather, or how the butterflies gathered in the flower fields. But there was also something teasingly in her voice, revealing that she wasn't completely serious. And why should she be? A good friend of her had just given birth to a healthy fawn, wasn't that a good enough reason for being in a good mood? After all, she had been tense and anxious the whole day, just waiting for the birth to be over.
"I also noticed you don't handle births very well." She added, remembering how Jergens had passed out when the fawn finally was born.
I'll have to go to bed soon, so don't expect more replies from me tonight. <3
"Even if I'm more careful
He shifted uncomfortably next to his brother, laying his own head down next to his, gently nudging his furred cheek. No response... damn... he was conked out...
"Hey, I'm a guy... Guys don't like watchin' women give birth." he retorted... though left out that there had been plenty of other stags that had been around and hadn't offered the performance that Jergens had. Really, when it came to something like that, he was a complete cupcake.
((G'night~<3))
Illrose wasn't sure how to
"No, they obviously doesn't." She chuckled, without stating the fact that Jergens was the only one passing out. She didn't want to say something that could ruin this...whatever this was. Illrose lifted her head when a familiar scent hit her nostrils, and she rose to her feet when Gustiro appeared on the hill nearby. For a moment, she scanned the area, but it seemed to be safe now.
"The predator seem to be gone now. You guys take care." She gave Jergens a nod as goodbye, indicating she was going to greet her friend, now that the birth was over and both Joro and her fawn was in good health.
Here's part of Illrose's
They look like they just tilt back, but it's the angle that makes them look like that. It's difficult for me to do antlers like these. I'm sorry I made them look so wild. :c
I have no idea what happened with her hair/fur. Is she short-haired, or is it sleek? I can fix that. I just went kinda wild with her skull too. If it looks too aggressive (SHOWS WHAT I KNOW ABOUT MOOSE SKULLS D<), I can take the sharp teeth out.
Holy crap, this looks awesome
I understand what you mean, the zombie antlers aren't easy, but these looks great.
Her fur is rather short, expect from a bit longer fluff on the crop, so I don't see anything horrible wrong on the drawing. ^^ And the skull, I love that skull. It does not looks to aggressive, it suits her perfect. I may use that skull for future references if you don't mind that, I really love it.
I look forward to see the final result as well, but you don't have to rush it. <3
I don't mind. (: I'd be
Thank you, it's a perfect

I'll just stalk this ;3;
Ginger; Hi.
Hi. <3
Illrose tried a few times to get closer to the younger doe, but when Peony kept backing away, she stopped.
"Of course, I understand. Why would you trust someone who has attacked you before." Her voice sounded neutral, almost numb. She then lowered her head, as to become smaller and less of an threat, even though the antlers didn't make that easier.
"I heard about your father, you have my condolences." She then said.
Starling;
Thank you. :')
She backed herself into a
Though at the doe's last statement, she drew herself up, curled fur bristling in a nervous sort of anger.
"Condolences?!" she spat, her smaller body quivering. "Yer not sorry! You can't be! It's all your fault!"
Though even with her harsh words, she had the obvious air of a confused, lost child mourning the death of a parent. Tears stood in the corners of her eyes, her furry cheeks already wet.
"It's all yer fault... If you hadn't... if... if..." she slunk down, salty tears streaming from her eyes.
Yer fault..."
She stood still, waiting for
"You must be confused, Peony. I had nothing to do with your father's death, and I am sorry, believe it or not." Illrose wanted to come closer when she saw Peony was crying. She wanted to comfort her, but she didn't dare to try to approach again, since the younger doe probably would just back away once more.
She stubbornly shook her
"You already killed one of my parents... why should I believe you?" she half-mumbled, half-sobbed, taking a few more steps, flowery 'antlers' bumping into the dragon doe's leg.
"All yer fault..." she backed her head up, bumping her doe antlers in Illrose's leg again and again, messing up the peonies that grew upon her tines. There was no force in her weak hits, just frustrated crying.
Illrose lowered her head when
The smaller doe would have
"Why couldn't I have been a stag?!" she cried, head placed between the larger doe's hooves. "I'm of no good to anyone... What good am I if I can't even help my parents...?"
She turned her head around, weakly taking Illrose's left ankle in her mouth, biting down powerlessly.
"Come on..." she sobbed, tears gumming up the fur on her cheeks. "Why aren't yew fightin' back? Come on... Give me a chance..."
Illrose quickly raised her
"It wouldn't have made any difference if you were a stag. Didn't Rosine already know a bunch of stags? Were they able to help him? No, I don't think so." She frowned when Peony grabbed her ankle in her mouth, and gently removed it by taking a step back, even though the bite wasn't painful at all.
"I'm not going to fight you, Peony. When I did last time it was a mistake, it won't happen again."
She knew that the dragon doe
"I... I..." she wimpered, hiding her muzzle under her leg. Completely drained. She didn't even bother moving back.
"Then what am I supposed to do..." she whispered, voice muffled against the ground.
Illrose raised her head,
"I suggest you take care of the father you have left." She replied, not moving closer nor further away from the other doe.
"I bet he is grieving just as you, but together you can comfort each other, and perhaps try to deal with Rosine's death." But Illrose knew how difficult it was to deal with someone's death, although the only example she had was the death of Jack. But when he died Illrose had walked around aimlessly, she had called out for him now and then, not really believing he could be dead. But he was - at least for a while.
The little doe sniffled a
"But... but that's just it..." she stumbled over, trembling... no longer angry. "I can't find him anywhere... I can't find Uncle Crybaby either..." she dipped her head back down, sniffling.
"Dad knows I can take care of myself... But..." she needed someone to talk to. The only problem is that she couldn't find anyone who would listen to her without dispensing needless pity.
"You can't find him?" Illrose
"I saw both him and Crybaby, not many days ago." She added, trying to think of how many days it actually were. But she then shook her head, and looked back down at Peony.
"I can help you search for him, if you want to." She offered. She then shook her head.
"Perhaps you usually can take care of yourself, but this is a special situation. No one should have to be alone then. Until your father returns from wherever he is hiding, do you have anyone else you can stay with? Any relatives?" Not that Illrose had any problems with watching over Peony, she just doubted the younger doe really wanted to stay with her.
Hey Snow~!! Mind if I add you

She sniffled. "N-No... He
Granted, Peony was never one to routinely seek out her parents. Ever since birth she had been remarkebly independant. It was no wonder Jergens left her without offering a goodbye. They saw one another less than one might think.
She looked up again, tilting her head to the side in confusion. Why was this doe being so nice? It seemed... unnatural...
"I don't really stay with anyone..." she answered, flicking her tail proudly. "But... I could always go to Uncle Aveeno... maybe Aunt Olay... or Talla or Oura if I had to."
Mentioning the names of loved one seemed to calm her down even more, as illustrated by her plopping her head back down with an exhausted sigh.
Hi. :') No, I don't.
NinjaGinger;
That was...weird, to say the least. One would think a family would stick together in a time like this. Not that her own family had ever been close, though, they believed independence would make one stronger, which could be true. But after she entered the forest, and had began to take care of fawns that seemed to have no parents at all, her view on things like this had changed slightly. At least in some ways. Illrose nodded her head.
"Good. If you ever feel like you need it, go to one of them, and talk. But don't be all alone with your grief. I shall keep an eye out for your father, wherever he is hiding, that jerk." The last words were just a muttering, but she did really wonder where Jergens and Crybaby had gone.
If anything, the subtle
"Don't yew dare insult him! You don't know how our family works." she tossed her head, letting a few blossoms rain down in front of Illrose's massive hooves.
She turned away, sharply turning her head back. "I would prefer if yew kept out of my family affairs. If I can't find my father, then I'll assume that he's temporarily left the forest." she paused, craning her neck up a bit.
"Though to be honest... I really don't blame him if he has."
She quickly took a step back
"Well, I don't know where he is, and if you want me to stay out of it, I will." She stepped back, ready to walk away and leave Peony all alone.
"But if your father really have left the forest, it was a bad timing to do so." She added. But Jergens probably had his reasons for whatever he was doing. And, how did he get out? Illrose would really liked to know how to get out of this place.
"Mm Illrose, lovely company~"
By Leuvr ♥
"I would have to say the same
"Thank you." she nodded
"No... If anything, he should have left a long time ago."
She turned her back back around and started back.
"Don't underestimate me for my age, Illrose. I'm far more capable of living independantly than yew may believe."
And with that she was gone.
"Oh, I bet you are. Without
Pfft, short reply. x) But thanks for the rp. <3
"Aweful..? Heh well... i
(... i just have to giggle anytime i imagine the size difference between those two |DD and the overal differences in their build)
I don't look like a doe!"
"I look like some kind of...some kind of make-up doll." The pelt was way too bright, kind of, and the way it was shaded blue over her now naked face made it look even worse. And the feathers. She couldn't fight with those, she felt really vulnerable without her real antlers. Still, she was in a playful and rather silly mood, so she decided to stay with her new look for a little while.
Haha, true. xD Jack could almost stand underneath her like a mini, if he is the size of a TEF - deer. :')
"yaah well... actually more
well, he is a little bigger than a red deer actually ^^
"As if that's any better."
