The Stagethis is a diary/centre page for my character jester, where all of the details about his involvement and happenings in the rut community event may be found. jester is a trickster. he treats the forest as a theatre, manipulating those within it for his own enjoyment. whilst he is a stag, he is extremely effeminate and, as a twist, he will be posing as a doe for the duration of this event. he is a 'comic relief' character, and his aim during the rut is to trick as many stags and bucks into fighting over him as though he is a doe as possible. The Showstopperpictogram: click biography: here appearance: jester will be switching his in-forest set around, like a costume, in order to appear more feminine. whilst he will be switching his antlers and pelt frequently (usually between the more doe-associated options, such as peacock feathers, noh stubs, great argus pelt, etc), his mask will always be the dotd mask. the best way to recognize him will be by his picto. when considering his actual design, he will be basically unrecognizable. however, he will still have the points lining his eyes, his general body build, and his jester hat-like protrusions-but, he will be disguising all of these as best he can with forest magic (ie. headdresses, differing pelts). he will also usually jingle when he moves. his pelt markings will be camouflaged, his antlers will alter depending on magic also. even if one has encountered him before, he will be reasonably well disguised though of course, recognizable if you so desire him to be by your character. other details: o if your deer has met jester in-forest before, they are welcome to recognize him. however, please note that his costume and mannerisms will be extremely convincing-he is an actor, after all! o jester will be making his usual voice (the silver-haired one) higher, so feel free to imagine his voice occasionally breaking for the lols. o if jester nuzzles your doe repeatedly, he is likely covering himself with the scent of your on-heat doe, so as to further his facade as a female. o for the purpose of this event, jester won't be breaking his female act, even if a male deer 'wins' him. from this, yes, jester can be... 'mated with', for lack of a better term. however, please keep in mind that the main point of this event is to spar and have fun. obviously, he will not be bearing fawns. if you have a question about this, just drop me a line~! o this is all in good fun. the idea is for him to be an amusing element of this event, lightening the mood of an otherwise high-tension occurrence. | Updatetoday being the last day of the rut, i figured it was about time i put this little notie up *ahem*: sadly, my tef has been 'stuck in limbo' or unwilling to connect for most of this week, meaning that jester's time in-forest has been extremely limited. from this, i've unfortunately not been able to put his 'master plan' into action. firstly, i would like to apologize so hard guize, i wish i had been able to give you all the show i had intended to~! D: i do give a huge thank-you to all of those who did get to play with jester when i was able to get in and, of course, to all of you who tracked this, showered interest and encouragement, and just in general were made of awesomesauce. being able to have jester make it onto so many interest lists has been amazing, and i appreciate all the support so much, guize, truly! :D eee~! however, all hope may not be lost~! *godlike stance* i've conceived a bit of a brainchild that i might be able to push out with the help of some willing participants/midwifes. basically, i was thinking of making some short, less-than-100-word drabbles to put up here to do with jester's meetings with other characters in-forest throughout the rut. i'm still quite busy at the moment and may not get the chance to actually do these buuut, i would still like to give a shoutout to anyone who might want to see this happen. whether your character ran into jester or not, if you could give me some names of your characters here (they don't have to be in the rut), what you think their reaction to jester would be and if they'd be tricked or not, and just some general notes, i'll toss around some ideas and see what i can do. i do apologize if my business sees these not actually happen, but no doubt i'll do something with the names and information you give me, tee hee! ♥ sooo, any takers? :D thankies so much again to all of you for your fantastic-ness, and keep on being fabulous~! ♥ |
