Still is rather indifferent to the rut but as a result of certain familial events, worries, and the like, has been feeling her mood foul. Beat on a rather sassy canine for being disrespectful. Taught him some mANners. Not socializing much, but did yesterday catch someone being very suspcious, (Niklaus). Had caught the beast being aggressive numerous times and targeting people at what appeared random. Had thus far not participated as there always seemed to be a mob involved and it seemed very dishonorable and cheap to join in. May have been inclined to blame it on a predatory nature, but watched his interactions and attributed enough intelligence to him to think decisions were made rather than ONLY simple instinct. Had only intended to observe, as he seemed to be drawing a crowd, along with his companion.

However, when the brute went after someone who meant a great deal to a family member, threw herself at him viciously with the intent to make a point. Intended to make him pay for unbridled viciousness... percy y u gotta be a hypocrite Found his companion involving himself and decided it would be time for a two on one brawl. Shifted her teeth to a mess of fangs on the fly with no particular anatomy in mind. Took a significant beating in the ensuing chase as others joined into the fray. Built for distance running so did not tire too swiftly. Though the blood loss and accruing venom did serve to inhibit her otherwise incredible stamina. Highly agitated as the beast continued to target Neli and took it as sign of malice with intent to provoke further aggression... Obliged.

Eventually bonked her head REALLY hard on a tree when she started getting sloppy and took a few minutes to recover from that. (Window crashed) Came to with some canine (Anastasia) talking to the beast and Sindile asking if she was alright. Got to her hooves and said she was, evidently in a foul mood and was more than a little snappy and would later feel guilty and need to apologize. Still, listened to the the canine talk to the beast with perceived familiarity and sympathy. Also thought she was getting shade thrown her way. IRRITATED that THINgs and perceptions about people in the forest. Wants to understand but still pissed. Intended to start a fight again but Niklaus would not go back in and just annoyed by that, since it is usually her MO to let others make the first move as a sign of.... Consent to violence unless something warrants it in her mind.

Eventually left after spitting on the ground to kinda... Show how she felt, since the spikey companion lingered as well. Checked on Neli and spoke to her. Was going to ask someone to move out of the idol tears on her behalf but the male left before she could. A bit relieved as she was running on fumes but could not afford to show it. Noticed the canine from earlier was again with the beast. Thought it would be good to talk to the lady once she was alone with another lady, and get Neli to get answers as to why the skull face brute constantly attacked her. But they left before hand. Fully intends to demand answers later. Simply collapsed

Has had a rough few months with family issues and more responsibility laid on her shoulders as foundation of the numerous things she was involved in felt shaken, Withdrawing from numerous individuals due to a few suspicions she's had and felt them confirmed.

Has been the subject of numerous assaults on in her home city and has come to realize someone wants to kill her. Feeling safer to a degree within the forest, but suspects it is connected to some other issues that have arisen over the last year and a prior attack eight months ago. Relying on certain, unhealthy coping mechanisms again and avoiding family members with good sense. Digging a hole for herself smacking away the hands that are trying to pull her out. That being said, has had to deal with conversations with Perikles and his logic.

When meeting her, Persephone often comes off as both warm and a bit aloof. She keeps her opinions often to herself unless she believes they will help others and offers a shoulder to lean on when other need it. She can come off as fearless, but in most issues, she believes being straightforward is in her best interest and will confront issues head on. When involving her own well being, she will rely on diplomacy first but her temper can get the better of her if it is a loved one who is on the line. She is very careless about her own well being when she has another to worry about.

While loving, after getting to know her, her independence and self reliance may become an obstacle. Growing up in a time where women had few rights, she felt that is she relied on anyone but her family was to be weak and she would burden others with her mountains of issues. Inaccurate as that may be, it is a notion that has persisted in some form, even to this day. In times of personal strife or hardship, she will generally build walls around her heart and distance from those she adore, for fear of bringing them down with her.

The pleasant mask tends to persist, even if she is feeling broken. Only the very few trusted souls are allowed to glimpse at her when she is vulnerable, those she feels will not worsen her or be burdened by her. Persephone puts the well being of others before her own though it is not always obvious and is at times counter intuitive. The Athenian has accidentally pushed people away and put them in harm's way in a misguided effort to protect them.

Persephone may seem to have many admirable traits in some ways, or at the surface, but as in control as she often seems, she has quite a temper which she rarely makes an effort to hide when it surfaces. She has no qualms with violence when she deems it necessary and delights in good brawl. Having grown up with a family that can easily escalate to a physical altercation, she tends to throw herself into things a little too recklessly at times.

_♚ Unlikely to take a partner. Has taken three serious partners in her lifetime and regretted the first most of all. Enjoys intimate acts, but at the same time avoids letting it grow into something more. Fell very much, wholly in love twice and coped very poorly with the endings. Has not killed innocents but knows every death by her hand was not for wholly righteous reasons. Does not need to justify it to herself all the same.

_♚ World is viewed in shades of gray, nothing is entirely one thing or another. Especially when coming to morals. Find that even for herself the "right" decision is not always easy to make whether because it is a hard decision or difficult to even tell what is "right" at the time. Recognizes that others have differing definitions of this and would never try to force her morals on another. Still, there are certain crimes she would never forgive and would kill someone on the spot for.

Persephone takes the form of a horned Arabian Saddlebred within the forest. She is typical of the size for the species. Her build is quite lean, suited for running great distances at a good speed. Not necessarily the fastest resident in the forest, but her endurance as a result of the species is not easy to match. Her coat is a golden, dappled palomino and her mane is a cream color. The texture of her mane is rather soft for a horse, not nearly as coarse as one may expect. Her pelt is short and sleek, suited for a warm climate.

Her horns and hooves resemble rose-gold in appearance but have the strength and hardness of a different metal altogether. While pretty, they were designed with battle in mind, as her horns and hooves have razor edges. Her anatomy is mostly typical of a horse, but she weighs a bit more as a result of a bone structure unique to her family. Bones take impacts very well and are nearly impossible to break.

_Human
As a Human, Persephone is a rather imposing woman. While not of extraordinary height, she stands at a rather tall at 181 centimeters and heavy at 79 kilograms. Her skin is a deep, rich tan, unmarred by even a single scar. The woman is well muscled, with definition visible even when relaxed. While muscular, her shape and features are still very feminine. Full lips, almond eyes, and a slightly rounded face with a define jawline. Her features are ambiguous when it comes to race or heritage, as her ancestry is incredibly old. Her hair and eyebrows are a soft off-white.

Her attire as a human tends to be rather loose and comes in pale colors. She rarely wears black and ranges from flowy dresses to gym shorts and a sport bra. She lacks modesty and she will go naked or only in shorts if her company doesn't care. Persephone avoids clothing that feels restrictive. She does not get cold easily in the slightest, thus one could find her in a sun dress in the arctic, though she does dress to blend in.... To a degree.

_♚ A well built, lean horse. Fast but her beast attrirbut in a fight is endurance. She tends to hound her foes, able to run and run while tank-like individuals tire.

_♚ Horns are her primary weapon. Tends to deal out more glancing or precise blows and keep on the move rather than large, heavy blows that leave her completely open to counters. Horns have the feel and behavior of steel and are ridiculously sharp.

_♚ Hooves are used as a secondary weapon. Have the same metallic traits, sharpened and never dulling for some reason. Blows from her hooves are heavy and powerful. However, she only uses them when feeling particularly vicious or against larger opponents, as rearing tends to leve her underside too open for her liking.

_♚ When particularly riled up, will shift the teeth in her mouth to an array of fangs and adjust the anatomy of her jaw to accommodate biting. Bites are not particular powerful but the fangs are sharp enough to rend flesh like a hot knife through butter. Designed for ripping and tearing, maximizing bloodshed.

_Neo

Father. The most consistent figure in her life. While not always the traditional father figure with his occasionally aloof demeanor and ways of teaching lessons in responsiblity, he is the first person she goes to when she is lost. Has let her learn through her own mistakes when she was rebellious and carefully guided her when she was receptive. While by no means a perfect individual, Persephone tends to hold him as something of a baseline for those of the male persuasion. Respects him and tends to listen to him above all. Dearly beloved role model.

_Sophita

Mother. A woman who guided her in her early years but left the responsibility solely to her father after Persephone proved difficult. Loves but not close with as her mother has not been present through much of her life and only seems to appear when convenient to her. Holds none of this against her mother and at this point understands why and who the woman is. A distant figure of occasional guidance and support. A source of Persephone's own maternal reservations and rarely discussed subject.

_Jasper

Uncle. A man about as prominent in her life as her father. Someone who could always put her in a good mood and found him to be as wild and free as she wished to be. Adores how uninhibited he is at most times while still having tact. Knows that with his passionate nature comes quite a temper, but has seen him come to control himself more than he used to. Loves his doting nature that accompanies a degree of expectation for all the family. Beloved.

_Perikles

Brother. Younger by a few hundred years, but the closest to her in age. Incredibly close to. Has taken him under her wing a few times in his youth and was the first to his side with his first major tragedy, when he was unwilling to seek out family and risk seeming weak. Has grown as an individual along side as they balance one another out. Endeared by and is one of the few who can get through his steely exterior without effort. And he is one of the few who can discern her true feelings at any time. Dearly beloved.

_Elektra

Sister. Little sister. Watched out for and occasionally doted on. Protective of, but does her best not to be overbearing, as she is aware Elektra can take care of herself. Still, her current baby sister and often treated as such, regardless of the fact the Elektra is an adult. Respects her drive and self respect. Thinks she is everything a young woman ought to be and more. Beloved.

_Caspian

Cousin. A softer individual than she would have expected given his genetics. Sees very little of his parents in his behavior, only his ability. Knows him to be quite capable but a little disappointed that he is often the victim rather than the hero. Encouraged him to solve his own issue but sees he lacks the confidence so common in her kin. Can't figure out why and seeks to understand. Tends to baby him here and there as a result but resists as best she can as she believes she isn't doing him any favors. Beloved.

_Dante

Cousin. A complicated relationship. Was close with him as a child but after a particularly traumatic even that occurred with Dante and his following rehabilitation, had found it difficult to relate to him. Cared about distantly at that point until she saw him growing better with his new relationship. Relieved by his change and recognizes him again. Rebuilding and tending to baby him again. Picks on him more than others, of only because she thinks he is one of the most resilient people she knows. Doesn't fully trust in all situations but hopes he might get back to where he once was. Loved.

_Ingólfr

Nephew. Met when he was young and felt sorry for him, given the outlander's situation. However, came respect him when he was just a boy for his ability to overcome whatever was in his way, his tenacity, and his patience. Questions some of his morals but if anything, wonders if he is essentially a younger version his father and his lessons in tough love toward his "children" and reserved but loving demeanor toward those he lets in. Teased here and there, but rarely means anything by it. Loved.

An easy friendship that almost encourages her natural guard dog tendencies. Dotes on and looks out for, tries to shelter when she can but also feels she does Phyrra a disservice if she doesn't allow her to make some mistakes here and there,

Another easy relationship. Cared for but held as a distance due to a few things where she is uncertain whether or not she can rely on the other woman. Looks out for but at the same time, but doesn't feel a need for that to be returned.

A very interesting demon she met and would love to know more of. Doesn't believe it would be wise to trust her, however.

A miracle worker as far as she is concerned. Has done more for her demented cousin than anyone aside from her uncle. Doesn't know particular well but watched out for and would not hesitate to step in harm's way for her.

As a demigoddess, her physical abilities go above and beyond what one would expect in her human form. She can outrun horse and stop a charging rhinoceros. She is durable beyond belief, having been thrown from cliffs, and has the endurance one would expect of her heritage.

Her abilities to heal has left her without a single scar on her form. She cannot even tattoo herself through magic. Piercings heal over the moment she removes them. Were she to sever her leg, she would recover it in a week. She does not grow sick or age. She can take the wounds and ailments of others as her own, healing them and leaving her body to heal instead. As a result, she is also difficult to poison. Despite this, she is by no means immortal and while few wounds are fatal to her, death is death, not a pause button.

Magic generally focuses around nature, the natural elements, and life. Can go from nurturing to destructive in the drop of a hat. Could create forest from barren rock or swallow a village in the earth. Powerful but often spirals out of control when summoning the more dangerous aspects of her abilities. Can be blamed for a few natural disasters, thus keeps herself to minor uses and helpful things. Skilled with her magic, but fear keeps her still from mastery. Magic comes from her own life force, but can turn the life around her into power if needed.
