Spent the night in forest in an abandoned den after yesterday's events found her uncharacteristically angry. Reticent toward certain company for the moment, dividing time between distracting herself with books and thinking on the points that trouble her.


23rd September, 2020
Doing well. Branching out in ways of her own.
Started working on a project for her and Hlín after her friend delivered her an important material the other night. Very excited about the possibilities.


11th February, 2020
Went on a little adventure alongside Irene. Luck was on their side, returned with some spoils. Keeping quiet about it.


1st February, 2020
Found all her favoured places occupied today (read: someone was vaguely near it) so took a while to find a place to relax and read. Troubled by a fight, and all the attention it drew, but fascinated by the source of it. Followed the trail of the aftermath until she came across a specific scent. Lost it almost immediately, but immediately concerned by the possible implications. Though it was possible she was worrying over nothing, bound two flowers together and left them in a place she finds meaning in along with a smear of her own blood - hopeful her message will be received.


7th December, 2019
i hate her new art but i was forced to put it up :weary:
Had a conversation with a kid ("Ptashka") about how staring is rude and received a few compliments - none of which she knew how to respond to. Excused herself to attend to something that had concerned her, only for Hlín to approach at the same moment. Took her friend someplace quiet.

And then some bitch (morgen...) approached and asked to talk to Hlín - was about ready to get involved when Hlín said she'd handle it. Watched the pair in case she needed to intervene and was relieved when that didn't happen. Spoke with her friend afterward, tried to be supportive despite her nerves. Tore after Hlín when the girl decided to throw the gift left by Morgen into the pond. Saw Morgen at the pond and yelled at her! Like a hooligan! Then bolted and romped with Hlín all the way back to the poppy patch.

Invited to sleep over, accepted immediately. Made sad by a comment of Hlín's but equally touched by other things... so when she offered to get them snacks, told her to sit tf down and went to get them some snacks and a blanket.

Depth / Development

First month
∴ Birth. Contrast - cold and warm.
∴ Stones and water, tapping, sound.
∴ Upheaval with the arrival of Glynn; shaken.
∴ Negative experiences with other fawns. Wary of those her age, though eager to make friends.

Second month
∴ Warming up to other children when they give her space.
∴ Proving herself to be finicky about food, attempted to resist being weaned.
∴ Producing small sounds, even words. Mimicking those around her. Lacks true understanding.
∴ The most obvious path isn't always the best one.
∴ Spells are a little spooky.

Third month
∴ Strengthening familial bonds with all but the Osedax, due to their absence
∴ Growing more confidence, and becoming more independent in little ways. Stays around her mother, but growing to wider orbits.
∴ Teething begins... chewing on anything she finds. Easily redirected.
∴ Expressive with her tail for both movement and communication.

Fourth month
∴ Exploring around the den on her own more. Excited to approach those her own age, but met with mixed feelings upon each attempt.

Fifth month
∴ Had an enlightening conversation with Brille; interest piqued.

Sixth and Seventh months
∴ Socialising more frequently with other children. Often experiences anxiety in the aftermath of play sessions, but confidence grows.
∴ Seldom meets the same faces twice, makes fragile, casual connections.

Eighth month
∴ Experienced snow properly. Got the zoomies, but found she doesn't actually like the snow, despite that. Too cold.

Ninth month
∴ Horizons expanded by the introduction of another world by Devani. Found it to be just what she needed and took to shadowing her mother as she grew accustomed to everything.
∴ Full of questions, full of curiosity. Dove in to helping and learning. Tempted by the possibility of even more to discover; a marked interest in the arcane and unusual.

Tenth month
∴ Finding herself drawn more and more to anything and everything 'odd'. Exploratory, cautiously pushing previous self-imposed boundaries designed to keep her safe. Taking more risks, though imagines she's calculated in the ones she takes.

A year, onward
∴ Still stressed by groups of certain compositions. Stress diffusion comes in the form of movement.
∴ Witnessed violence with more ferocity and more closely than ever before - unable to even speak to her mother about it. Issues; moral and identity
∴ Harmless fun for you might not be harmless for everyone else.
