Torfastr posesses the build of a moose mixed with predominantly hare traits. His antlers are three tined but posess multiple 'pearly' growths akin to roe deer antlers.

-Will not come to aid when strangers are being injured or chased, no mater their age. Is not trigger happy to chasing.
-In combat relys on goring. Can gnaw a limb off a relatively well built stag...As well as any bite is with the intent to tear off chunks of flesh.
-Offers help a lot, but unlikely to do much if he's fully aware that his friend/pupil/commrade is capable of executing something on their own.
-Recently became very optimistic, still harbours ill feelings
-Said ill feelings surface when it's time to get busy

The earliest he remembers is coldness. Soon defeated by warmth...warm fur, purple and soft. A home with a mother and sister, people to look up to. Raised to be proud, loyal, kind.

Curious, inquisitive, ambitious and artistic. He watched soldiers, dockworkers, craftsmen and his mother working. Imitating and learning.

Soon two sisters followed, nothing more exciting than new life. But how shortlived it was when Hlif was late, Lysa screamed and the corpse was found.
Death shattered not one, not two hearts, but many more.

The youngest sisters were taken away. His older one torn. Mother was dead.

And he ran away. There was no home to have. The warm fire extinquished, the hearth left cold. He was old enough that the king himself let him be when overlooked he the village for one last time.

Perish or thrive.
Life would now be cruel.
He would bask in grim thoughts and plots of revenge. Black his heart turned as he matured. A fine young man. Once loving and kind. Now weathered to be a killer of beasts that endured the worst. No warm bed, medicine or steady food.

Life thought him much. But it transformed him even more.

He met a different world when away with Svana. Vast and great with a teacher to train him her ways.
His agile body fit for perfection. His antlers lacking in mass were better killers than mre cumbersome racks. When his training was complete, he was again lone.

Returning to Vargheim he was a figure of fitness. Fine young man...
But his heart was cold, his hate held back only by distracting work. First living with farmers, working or providing food.

Befriended reconciled and bonded with many. Runa of them only acelerated his flame for veangence more.
Though for what he was, his kindness would shine through. When he teached the young like Saga come to mind.
But that kindness was so in conflict with his instint to hunt. Hunt down the killer and execute vengeance.
Depression was an old friend of his...

In winter time he was invited to Runa's home. Learned from her the art of riding and combat.
He was growing more furious and volatile, satisfying basal instincts whenever self-doubt hadn't got hold of him. He learned some... intetesting things that way...

With his sister giving birth, a true sign that life was moving on. Happines fought to not be diminished and be gone. But for as much he was happy, he shamed himself for neglecting his duty. Revenge for his mother. Why was he so hurt with this? everyone else resumed on or tried to forget. But he lingers on in pain.

He would have gone worse if one faithful day... A massive bear-feline hadn't cnearly clawed him to death.
An unbeatable foe proved him to be weak. And in his weak breath he felt like flying.
Crows gathering. "This one to valhalla," he heard them speak.
He heard valkyres speak.
He heard Runa speak.

And he went into slumber.
Beaten up and shamed by himself. One of his facets was to die.
The vengeful wrath or the generous hunter.
Words deep ad meaningful exchanged with Runa, the one who stoked the passion for the vengeful wrath before, now burried it for him.

It was time to softly bury the past and go on.
Never forget who you were, what you are and what you have to do. Brooding so long brought only more pain to you.
There are bigger things in life he now knew. Past cannot be fixed. But people near him, those he cared about had theirs and grievances. He would now try soothe their wounds and protect them to his best ability...
The vegeful wrath was no more.

Time spent traveling and time spent outside Torfastr would stumble upon the homestead of his father.
Identified quickly as the lost son, Torfastr was tasked in retrieving Sigridr, Meeting less than pleasant and was tasked to save Sigridr from thralldom and return her...her who is his biological mother.
Many tears were shed by her, but to Torfastr, those people were strangers, as much as he wanted to love and care, there was no bond. There was only internal turmoil as he struggled with the fact that he was adopted.
Yet his love tested, it's not to be shattered so easily, only reinforced. Those bonds forged under false pretense, they are true, they are real, even if he is not related to his siblings by blood, they are no less important to him, in fact even more so, for the were ble to look past the blood and accept him for one of his own. Likewise for hlif who took him in as an exposed child.

As how Ogmundr is a bitter man, he easily wouldn't have accepted Torfastr under his roof so easily.
"If you need a home, make one, that's my decree, but to aid you, 10 carls and 15 thralls, twenty head of cattle, three oxen and 7 sheep. 3 weapothanes will accompany. If you want a home, build one, if you want my kingdom, earn your place as heir."
If Torfastr were to be Ogmundr's heir, he'd have to prove himself.
"By the riverside northwest lie unclaimed land, that will be your town. Now go, gather your supplies."

And as expected, the last months were shadowed by grueling work on the brink of starvation in a town consisting of tents on unfruitful land.

Slowly etching back into the forest, sometimes greeted by empty mist, other times greeted with his dearest companion, Runa, accompanied by Sigurd.
Today, felt awkward and remained to himself.


Generally exhausted from work back at his new home, Heimsgardar and Niflhofn.
The settlements have been well established by now and the first new lives have begun to join the village.

With most of the hardship gone, focus on establishing the villages on the map among the wider land became the major focus. Game and woodcrafts of the highest order.
Among them, the first frames of some of the most beutiful longships ever created.
One of it's layouts for debts to be yet payed.
