Azazel is back and we had a conversation where he put words in my head and made me feel horrible. But i made new friends and I saw Baal so it's all okay.

Previously:

So many new faces! A few scents she recognized but wasn't sure if they'd remember/know her. Feeling overwhelmed and shy, lately. Sat on Dandelion Hill, quietly musing when she was approached by a young doe (Morrow). Greeting her, asked her if she'd like to sit, and the two sat together. Grateful the other approached and keen on meeting a new face.

Darkweaver - Still does not trust, however holds disinterest for the old enemy.

Vasla, the Wolf - Afraid of; a cunning predator.

Azazel - Has an unhealthy obsession with her. Gone?

The Priest - Absolutely detests. Gone.

Ren - Absolute annoyance. Gone.

Yura- Unsure of, knows she's up to no good.

On Kaoori's Defense
Since Kaoori is so small, she is not much of an effective fighter. Fighting to defend herself or others in the past has only gotten herself in trouble and a lot of wounds and scars she did not need; and she only earned the worries of others. Over time Kaoori has realized she cannot fight like larger deer, and she has learned to flee or stay out of the way whenever possible during an attack or fight.
Being small, she is swift, and will sometimes try to throw a spell at her attacker to throw them off or distract them to help her comrade's aid.

Kaoori's Haunts
Kaoori's frequent haunt and where she considers home is Dandelion Hill, so she may overlook the ruins. Much of her life's history and family's history is tied there; and she feels great comfort being near it. She considers the ruins and the rolling hills around it her home. A small grave marker at the ruins marks the spot where her daughter Hoshiko is buried; Kaoori can often be found laying by it, talking to her.
She often finds peace in other places; usually with friends and family. She holds no claim to territory, just ties to familiar places.

The shika had been acting

The shika had been acting peculiarly for the past two nights. She was allegedly sick one evening and absent the next and this behavior did not go unnoticed by her mate. With the dusty white of his hooves planted firmly in the earth beneath him, the great elk let out a loud bugle. The sound could be heard for miles.

However, much to his dismay, he did not hear the reply that he was after.

Concerned and equally frustrated, Wesker made his way to the pond, his fire bright eyes slit in the sunlight and scanning the forest for the starlit pelt that he had grown so used to having by his side. He caught a glimpse of it momentarily, in a hollowed out tree, and immediately stopped in his tracks. In that moment, everything settled down to cinders.

"Kaoori," he addressed her quietly as he approached. He looked her over for physical wounds, only remotely relieved to find none. They would have explained a lot. "It is not like you to vanish without so much as a word to me. What is it that you will not tell me? What could possibly be worth this isolation? ...What have you done to yourself?"

The last question was spoken most solemnly.

Kaoori looked up at her mate

Kaoori looked up at her mate with weary eyes. Where to start; she didn't even know. No, she wasn't injured.. but she had no idea how to say what she needed to. She regretted vanishing from his side. She knew he'd worry but she had been distraught. Slowly, she crawled out of the tree, shaking stubborn sticks and dirt from her pelt. She was glad to see him, glad he had found her.
Nuzzling him gently, her ears drooped, and she let out a tired sigh, lids closing over her violet eyes.

"Wesker.. let's go home.. there's much I need to tell you."

He returned the gesture a bit more forcefully, using it to break her out of her slouch and stand her upright. "We will talk and then you will sleep. You need the rest, Kaoori," he replied quietly, offering his closeness for support should she need it as they began their walk home. "And I need you by my side."

It wasn't until the doe

It wasn't until the doe brought herself near her that the uncertain edge seemed to wear off slightly. Still, the space was disconcerting at best; the air seemed thick and heavy.

The marsupial took a moment to look at her over the back of the small fawn nestled between them. Could the little one sense it? What was she thinking?

She reached over, taking care so as to not trod on the fawn before bumping the side of the star doe's face with her nose; she retreated back to her original seating arrangement.

When she spoke, it was in question form; they were myriad, but they all boiled down to one single word, 3 single syllables.

Kaoori?

Her own voice was quieter than she would have liked.

The blue giant, who's been scarce so recently slowly drug himself along... fur a shamble... body a complete wreck. Once beautiful blue fur was stained to the point that it was dripping the crimson and black liquid down onto the forest floor. His own black blood spilling out mixed with the red of others... thick, and heavy breaths came out of him as the stag got to the pedestal where Karooi was resting, nestled against Wesker's side.

With much effort, and a bellow of pain the giant got himself up on the area before just collapsing out in a heap. A heaved breath escaping those jaws as he laid there in front of the tiny doe and her mate "S... Sister..." Nightmare had come to consider her that, often spoke of her as such a thing when he was alone... and it was the one word that escaped those jaws of his.
