Grei wtf r u doin. I thought we were okay now? Oh we are ok cause i'm confused.
Azazel is back and we had a conversation where he put words in my head and made me feel horrible. But i made new friends and I saw Baal so it's all okay.

Previously:

So many new faces! A few scents she recognized but wasn't sure if they'd remember/know her. Feeling overwhelmed and shy, lately. Sat on Dandelion Hill, quietly musing when she was approached by a young doe (Morrow). Greeting her, asked her if she'd like to sit, and the two sat together. Grateful the other approached and keen on meeting a new face.

On Kaoori's Defense
Since Kaoori is so small, she is not much of an effective fighter. Fighting to defend herself or others in the past has only gotten herself in trouble and a lot of wounds and scars she did not need; and she only earned the worries of others. Over time Kaoori has realized she cannot fight like larger deer, and she has learned to flee or stay out of the way whenever possible during an attack or fight.
Being small, she is swift, and will sometimes try to throw a spell at her attacker to throw them off or distract them to help her comrade's aid.

Kaoori's Haunts
Kaoori's frequent haunt and where she considers home is Dandelion Hill, so she may overlook the ruins. Much of her life's history and family's history is tied there; and she feels great comfort being near it. She considers the ruins and the rolling hills around it her home. A small grave marker at the ruins marks the spot where her daughter Hoshiko is buried; Kaoori can often be found laying by it, talking to her.
She often finds peace in other places; usually with friends and family. She holds no claim to territory, just ties to familiar places.

Salaawa, one who yearns for company; all in a desperate plea to bring her mind back, to become fully immersed in the physical world. She couldn't explain why she wanted such a thing, nor could she explain why her mind was "elsewhere," as she always so cleverly put it.

Yet tonight, she feels...fine being on her own for a bit. The company of Euyru earlier still held to her, and she found herself trodding her way through the small graveyard in the back of the Ruins.

She thought of their lives, and what sort of existences they led. The ground felt nonexistent beneath her, and she treaded carefully. She knew she was prone to stepping on things, and not even realizing it.

It wasn't long before she could feel something close by; it felt far away though, as if it would be light years from her. The firefly moves slightly, and the Female Ghoul shifts her head as it moves; the firefly flutters in front of a small Izo Shika, a pelt of the night sky. She sees the purple orbs flicker, but she can't read the emotions within them. She recognizes the small deer though; she had seen her near a grave earlier, just on the opposite side.

She rises to greet, only to side step slightly; she feels as if the blood is rushing to her head, making her dizzy. Shaking her head, she bows to the little doe, the doe bowing in response. The Nightfall doe paws the ground, asking for an audience, so it seems. Salaawa accepts it quite happily, and she seats herself carefully, shifting around. It's as if she doesn't even feel the ground beneath her, and she's struggling, yearning, to find it.

When she speaks, her voice sounds slightly distorted, disconnected. It sounds as if she is trying to contact someone worlds away from her, and she's left with a bum signal.

fff hi. Sorry I didn't stay.. I'm on cold medicine and soo out of it. I'm glad I got to sit with you for a moment though.

She saw the other sitting by herself, and, after bowing to Hoshiko's grave, as was usual for her to try to visit once a day, she made her way to the doe. She seemed a bit lonely.. and wondered if she'd like company.

She approached cautiously at first, offering a bow, and then asking to sit beside her with a light paw to the ground. As they sat, she watched the other's moves- strange, but who was she to question? So many things in this forest were different, she no more than the rest.
She hears her speak.

Hello.. tell me, are you lonely? Would you care for some company?

She tilted her head.

Salaawa can barely hear the doe speak; distant, echoing slightly. It isn't really until the doe's last sentence that she registers it, and shakes her head vigorously. The firefly rests itself on her nose, allowing her to look directly at the doe.

Y-yes, actually...I would love company.

She scoots slightly, offering more room for the doe to sit; her head sways slightly as this happens, her body trying to register movement, and the ground beneath it.

A small chortle of a laugh breaches her maws when her head "corrects" itself.

I'm so sorry...I must seem awful odd to you...my mind's just..."elsewhere," 'tis all.

The Ghoul's tone takes a slight melancholy turn at the "elsewhere," but is quickly disposed of when she speaks again.

Kaoori is transfixed by the firefly; she adores them, and is enthralled when it lands on the other doe's nose. Careful not to stare, she smiles quickly, then averts her eyes to another part of the ruins. She gets comfortable, shifting slightly to accomodate her growing large belly.

My name is Kaoori.. and I am pleased to meet you and be in your company. May I ask what yours is?

She finished with another tilt of her head.

Salaawa doesn't mind the staring; she's used to it. So many stare at her for so many reasons; the black antlers, the damaged neck, that ribbon with that damn bell on it. Her behaviour certainly didn't help matters either.

Her skull cracks a smile; it is genuine in feeling, but it feels awfully detached - as disconnected as her own voice.

Salaawa would be my name. And I'm quite grateful to be in your company...

Her head tilts downward, the firefly leaving her nose to gently flutter towards the smaller doe's stomach. But just as quickly as it came, it flutters back to her nose, resting quietly.

Kaoori didn't seem to be very intimidated. Sure, Salaawa was not a normal deer. But after seeing so many kinds of things here, from demons to ghosts.. well, Salaawa wasn't too intimidating. She seemed friendly enough.

Skulls never bothered Kaoori. When the other smiled, she smiled in return.
It is nice to mee you, Salaawa. I, too, appreciate the company on this cool night.

The shika watched the firefly come near, investigating her, then returning to its companion.
Ah, well, I wouldn't say full. She laughed slightly. But it is definitely growing.

Temperature was one of the last things she could be bothered to register. The ground, the graves, warm bodies...they were her priority. Temperature...she couldn't even really feel that, period.

It felt like her head had been jerked to the side - it was pounding again. She didn't know what was happening, but managed to shake her head slightly as if it was just a minor thing.
