Azazel is back and we had a conversation where he put words in my head and made me feel horrible. But i made new friends and I saw Baal so it's all okay.

Previously:

So many new faces! A few scents she recognized but wasn't sure if they'd remember/know her. Feeling overwhelmed and shy, lately. Sat on Dandelion Hill, quietly musing when she was approached by a young doe (Morrow). Greeting her, asked her if she'd like to sit, and the two sat together. Grateful the other approached and keen on meeting a new face.

Darkweaver - Still does not trust, however holds disinterest for the old enemy.

On Kaoori's Defense
Since Kaoori is so small, she is not much of an effective fighter. Fighting to defend herself or others in the past has only gotten herself in trouble and a lot of wounds and scars she did not need; and she only earned the worries of others. Over time Kaoori has realized she cannot fight like larger deer, and she has learned to flee or stay out of the way whenever possible during an attack or fight.
Being small, she is swift, and will sometimes try to throw a spell at her attacker to throw them off or distract them to help her comrade's aid.

Kaoori's Haunts
Kaoori's frequent haunt and where she considers home is Dandelion Hill, so she may overlook the ruins. Much of her life's history and family's history is tied there; and she feels great comfort being near it. She considers the ruins and the rolling hills around it her home. A small grave marker at the ruins marks the spot where her daughter Hoshiko is buried; Kaoori can often be found laying by it, talking to her.
She often finds peace in other places; usually with friends and family. She holds no claim to territory, just ties to familiar places.

There was a gentle, cool

There was a gentle, cool breeze and a soft howling like sound came from around. Carefully... the almost skeletal looking stag walked out from the gentle mist as it blew on away. Clearly... Nightmare had undergone another transition it seemed... more... skeletal in appearances as he walked over before laying gently beside Karooi "How does the little one grow?" Peculiar way of asking about her condition, but then again... Nightmare in himself was a strange beast. His ears swiveled around some, the one closest to hear seeming to take in that tiny beat of life that was inside.

It had been some time since

It had been some time since she had seen the giant who had always been gentle to her She greeted him with a small, tired smile as she lay in the last of the day's sunlight, and shifted, glancing up at him as he sat beside her.

The baby is well.. it seems to be lively, for not a day goes by that I am not sick.
She said this with a chuckle, and no form of malice. This child was a treasure, and she would treat it as such.

A deep... cool chuckle came from that skulled face of the monster beside her. Always odd that the little doe caught the attention of so many beasts and creatures that others feared. Carefully, the ear listening in on her little ones thrumming heart slipped upwards as he drew out another chuckle "And how is the dear father taking these... sick moments of yours?" oh Nightmare knew of one thing... that Karooi could always seem to get her beloved to do almost anything...

Kaoori had taken over the

Kaoori had taken over the morning shift, and so Noelle would take the night shift.

She'd spent hours by the pond these past few days, staring over the water and pulling together the scheme that had given her life new meaning. The water calmed her, cleared her mind, even though it, too, had once been her enemy. Despite its murderous past, the pond remained a place for her to find peace when no where else would work.

The sun was setting when she found her gift. A ray of light fell into just the right line to strike a gem in the soft, sodden sand beneath the water. It was a brilliant royal purple and caught and tossed the light beautifully. It reminded her of a certain pair of eyes. Noelle wasted no time in scooping it up in her mouth.

She was in the birch forest now, looking over her sister and the the stunning amethyst stone she'd placed before Kaoori's nose.

A purr and the grass rustled, then there was no sign of the visitor, save what she left behind.
