I just downloaded TEF on my new computer. (I've downloaded it before ) I log in and everything works and it says this many players are connected and whatnot but, there are no players! Anybody know what I can do to make this stop? Oh and I also tried running at my name to see if other names pop up.
Well, when I started up the game there was my picto. Then when I logged in and stood up a bunch of my pictos when to the first picto. Afterthat I ran for like 5 min. at my picto but I didnt see anyone.

Drawing if you need to share images, be sure you're hosting them on a site like Photobucket. You can't link to image files directly from your computer.
It sounds like you need to let the game run (you don't need to move your deer around, just leave the game running for 10-15 minutes). If after a longer wait you still don't have pictograms spreading (as opposed to being clumped down at the bottom like you describe) it might be that you are unable to connect to the server. Quite a few players have reported having this problem recently, more than usual, and I'm not sure why.
Ok thanks for telling me about the file sharing Do you think this might be a bug with the new update? This has happened before on my old laptop but running toward my picto fixed it.
I just downloaded Endless Forest today, and I've been having the same problem. I logged in and it said that I was connected successfully to the network, yet I could see no players. I ran around exploring the place for twenty minutes, and still nothing happened. I guess I'll try standing still for a few minutes and see if I actually connect.
Is the dot green or orange? (bottom left corner).
Did the pictograms spread?
When I can't see other players I usually open TEF in a second window (have two running at the same time) and it helps.

I ran it as administrator
My screen shrunk
The mouse cursor was gone
I turned my PC back on and off
I had to use my arrow keys to get to the restart button -->
I refarted it and my PC is back to normal
