New sets - Mardi Gras 2014

Hi,

As some of you know we added 3 new sets yesterday: The Swan, Barn Owl and Inky Koi! These were made in collaboration with a few of you here in the community along with Margo, our intern from last summer. We have documented this at the main TEF website: http://tale-of-tales.com/TheEndlessForest/carnival.html

Thanks again for being so wonderful! We were really happy with the designs you all came up with. We continue to count oursleves lucky to have so many great players who care about the Forest!

Enjoy the new sets! The Twin Gods will be around in the forest to surprise you!

Thank you, Michael and Auriea, Margo and the artists for making this come true. The sets are beyond beautiful and are a great new addition to the game. It was so much fun seeing everyone starting to cast spells on eachother. Hopefully we get more opportunities like this, seeing the community work together is such a nice thing to see.

It was quite a turning point

It was quite a turning point in Endless Forest history I must say, thank you M & A for your continual input into the forest after so many years, the new sets are beautiful!

May I ask, will the other pelts and sets that Margo worked on be implemented in game at some point?

Parrots; I've been wondering

Parrots; I've been wondering the same thing - I know a looootttt of us were holding our breath for the red panda pelt and the egito set too so I'm curious to see what M&A have to say.

That being said I'm not looking down on the new sets! I'm completely thrilled to have them. We're so lucky to have the awesome pelts, masks, and antlers added.

Realy, big, very big thanks!
The Endless Forest is my second home, and I would like to say thank you not only for the costumes, but also for the game. You just wonder. You have created something that inspires hundreds of people. I can not tell you all the warm words in my heart because I do not know how to say it in English. But once again, thank you for Forest. Many thanks for the deer. Many thanks for the red poppies at the cemetery and the fish in the pond. Thank you for everything.

Long time no see
Um does this mean the new sets are in the forest and can they be used by all players? I'm seeing invisible deer with only heads and deer with no antlers, but no one wearing new cloths? anyone confirm if as an older player i should be seeing the new sets?

Um I was always told that you cant store spell data on the new version. I have a store of spells over 3 years old. Um or has little me Been missinformed?

With the new version of the

With the new version of the game the set you are wearing will be stored on the server side .
But only with new version !
But you can not take the spelldata with you .
If you connect the first time with the new version you will begin naked .

OH sorry I thought you mean store as in buying-selling, I misinterpreted. As Flyleaf explained, with the newest version you can store one set per deer on the server itself, not in spell data files like before.

yer dat the bunny. sadly thats the reason i have not upgraded, that spell data files allows my deer to be who they want when ever they want they have there freedom to express their emotions through the sets. (which to me is part of the freedom of the forest) it's a shame it got misused and was stopped i feel like part of the forest adventure for me has vanished. i look foward to seeing all the screenies from people though of their new combos.
